Thank you for your feedback. This is the first time we have learned of unhappy renters and are very sorry that this was your experience in our New Harbor home. It's true that our home is not oceanfront, nor is it advertised as such. However, it is within eyeshot/earshot of the water, as the house is 2 houses away from the water and less than 100 yards from the neighborhood beach. It's also true that the house had been under renovation this past year, a major facelift which was fully completed before the summer rental season began, including all new floors, new bathrooms, decks, landscaping new beds and decor. We have been very excited for our renters in 2012 to experience these renovations, and showcased some of the new improvements in our picture postings. Since your posting we have fixed all outstanding items you mentioned and further outfitted the house with creature comforts, and have totally rectified the heater issue by replacing the unit and installed new floor boards below. There is no longer any trace of this issue. It has been our experience with our renters that if ever an issue arises, it can often be easily and quickly addressed by us, given the chance. We hope you continue to visit New Harbor for future vacations whether with us or elsewhere.
