Our favorite local getaway

It is our second time staying here within 6 months and we absolutely love it. It is simple but comfortable and clean with plenty of space in the game room and outdoors for the kids to stay busy. The short drive up, complimentary wine and breathtaking view do not disappoint. We are planning on coming back soon. Thank you again!

Restful and Rejuvinating

I always wonder if the pictures on a Vrbo listing reflect the reality of the property. This home is as good as, if not better, than the listing. Vicki and Richard are A+ hosts who make you feel welcome from before you arrive all the way through check-out. They were incredibly helpful and responsive. Their home was so easy to use and comfortable to stay in. The game room downstairs was wonderful for our young-adult sons while we all enjoyed the gorgeous views from the balcony. We loved our entire stay and would love to go back someday.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My husband and I had a great 3 day stay in this lovely mountain house. It’s truly as advertised and more, peaceful, comfortable, and so nice to relax on the spacious deck taking in the gorgeous mountain view. The large lot the house sits on provides a lot of privacy from neighboring homes so it seems very secluded and so very quiet. We enjoyed bird watching, hiking around Lake Gregory (15 minute drive), playing pool on the table in the rec room, and sitting in front of the gas fireplace in the evenings. An added plus is that we could walk 5 minutes up the hill to LouEddies Pizza, great pizza and salads, as well as nice patio and tavern. There is also Rosalva’s Mexican right next to LouEddies. Very good as well. Communication with Vicki was excellent, she and Richard have thought of everything to make for a perfect stay. We would definitely return to this beautiful retreat.

What a view!

This was our first time staying in Skyforest and I don't think it'll be the last. I can't say enough about the view of the valley from this cabin's spacious balcony. The cabin itself was great also. I can tell that the owners really take care of it as everything was in a very good shape, including the kitchenware, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. Lots of entertainment, TV, books, games, even Alexa. The game room was a bonus with pool table that turns into an air hockey table that turns into a ping pong table. Wonderful accommodations all around. Thank you Vicki and Richard for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful home on a beautiful piece of land!!

It took me a while to write a review because I really want to keep this place a secret, truth be told lol. This beautiful home has everything that you can think of and more! I wouldn't of spent my birthday anywhere else than here and we enjoyed it to the fullest. The beautiful outdoors and nature was a highlight of our trip. The confortable rooms and amazing GameSpot was out hangout spot during our stay. I can't wait to book this beauty again in the near future.

Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property. Vicki and Richard made are stay wonderful. All the small touches to the home were fantastic. You only need to bring Clothes and Food. The home has everything else you need. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful and cozy

What an amazing view!! My boyfriend and I couldn’t be any happier with our stay. Vicki and Richard were amazing hosts and we enjoyed the small thoughtful touches they did to welcome us into their home. We will definitely be back again! Would give this house 6/5 if we could :)

Great family getaway!

This place has EVERYTHING! So many thoughtful details made our stay there in July so easy & comfortable. The view from the deck, the little side yards, and big game room made this place a stand out for our 2 families. I was worried that the game room (downstairs) with a separate outside entrance might not work for us. Surprisingly, it sort of made it even better. Our kids (9, 9, & 5yrs) loved the walk down the steps and past the little pond...it was a "destination" they loved to venture off to. The separate downstairs area also allowed them to talk/sing/laugh without bothering the ones that just wanted to relax with a book and take in the nature sounds on the deck. Several different seating areas inside and outside made it easy for us to spread out, but also made it easy for us to hang out together. There were plenty of games (tv/electronic/movie screen, gaming tables, board/card games, and yard games) for the adults and kids. With the exception of food, the kitchen & bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you would need, even if you just showed up with an extra set of clothes (there's a laundry room too). The owners (hosts) were very accessible and followed up right away with any questions that came up. Our stay was definitely one of the best rental experiences we've had, and we would love to go back there again. Another bonus...even though the house/property feels secluded...just a few twists & turns up the neighborhood road, and there's a pizza restaurant, Mexican restaurant, and several charming shops all within walking distance. This property has everything!

Loved our stay

We spent four nights at this lovely home in Lake Arrowhead. The home had everything we needed, not to mention an amazing view. It is surrounded by trees so it felt a bit like staying in a tree house, very tranquil. The game room was so fun for everyone. Vicky left some amenities for us, which was so kind, and was incredibly responsive with any questions that we had before, during and after we were there. Already looking forward to another stay at Willow House.
