We're happy you've chosen Moon Compass Lane for your vacation and hope your stay is special. Our home is set up perfectly to spend time with your family and friends for a fun, but relaxing escape. We enjoy that we can walk to the The Holly Ridge Golf Club located less than a mile from our home. We love spending the day at the beach and playground at Attaquin Park only 5 minutes away, with the Naukabout Brewery and Taproom right there for listening to live music and grabbing a beer outside. We also like the option to visit either the Nantucket Sound or Cape Cod bay beaches, and easy access for day trips to the many different areas and attractions the Cape has to offer. The family friendly neighborhood is great for biking and taking family walks - especially with the family dog - the backyard and deck off the kitchen offers privacy so you definitely feel that "away from it all" feeling you want on vacation! The Town of Sandwich is the perfect destination for those looking to avoid a mega commute or dealing with summer traffic to get on the island. This recently renovated home is less 15 minutes from the bridge. Our Boston area guests can envision a getaway weekend without a long drive - we're talking less than 90 minutes from the North Shore - even in the summer! As you enter the home you immediately notice how light and bright it is - hard wood floors throughout with nautical accents. This home boasts two separate living spaces and a double fireplace between the family room and kitchen. All recently updated to include Central A/C and classic grey carpeting in the upper level bedrooms, hallway and staircase.
The stairs to the second level greet you as you enter this stylish home. To the right is the family room complete with comfy sectional sofa, occasional chair and large flat screen tv. This open concept room opens to the expansive kitchen. First you are greeted by a kitchenette with seating for 4 that overlooks the deck and back yard. You'll find a half bathroom (Bathroom #1) and at the end of the hall a laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience. As you pass back through the kitchen the door on the left provides you access to the garage. There is seating for 3 at the center island - perfect for "grab and go" breakfast smoothies for those who want to get to the beach early. Granite countertops in shades of white and black marble speak to the upscale nature of this home. All appliances are stainless steel (fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave).
The dining room has a large farm style table with seating for 6 and a lovely sitting area for two nestled in the semi circular windows. French doors can be closed to the living room which has a comfy couch, three chairs and large flat screen tv.
After the dining room you find yourself entering the second living space with comfy furniture and flat screen TV. This room seems perfect for catching up with family or reading the newest romance novel.
Second floor has a wrap around hall toward the front of the home with a great picture window to view below. Bedroom #1 is on the right with a queen bed, double closets, ceiling fan, chair, dresser, flat screen tv. Bedroom #2 is across the hall with a twin bed and full bed, dresser and closet. Next you'll find full Bathroom #2 with tub/shower combo. Bedroom #3 is the king master with vaulted ceilings and an ensuite bath (Bathroom #3) with large tiled walk in shower (remember to step up as you enter) and a double vanity. The master has a dresser, flat screen tv, double closets and ceiling fan. Bedroom #4 houses a Queen and twin bed including a closet, ceiling fan.
Spend time with the family around the fire pit - plenty of seating for all - even the littles - tiny adirondack chairs are available for even the smallest family member! Lush yard is perfect for lawn games and mature trees provide a canopy of privacy for your getaway! New in 2022 - bring fido! Furry family member are welcome at this pet friendly home!

Fireplaces are only available for use in the winter months with advance approval from owner.
