Here is your chance to experience Hilton Head Island's tropical paradise, Windsor Court South, located inside the private gates of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. This family-friendly resort is complete with a resort-style pool and hot tub (heated seasonally), playground, parking garage, community gas grills, firepit, and beach access! 
Our beautiful 2 BR villa sleeps 6 and overlooks the tropical resort and long ocean views! The primary bedroom with its plush King-sized bed and TV equipped with cable and Roku has amazing resort and ocean views from the picture window. Renovated en suite private bath with oversized walk-in shower, double vanity, and full closet complete the primary suite. The second bedroom has 2 Twin-sized beds, smart TV, sunny windows and walk-out to the balcony to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beaches of Palmetto Dunes. A spacious second full bath is located just steps from this bedroom with a tub/shower combo. A queen-sized sofa sleeper is in the main living area for additional guests. Bedding & linens provided.

The open floor plan in this sunny villa is great for entertaining or just relaxing with your group. There is table dining for 6 with additional seating at the raised bar for enjoying coffee or surfing the internet! The spacious living area is accented by tropical views with access to the private balcony to enjoy morning coffee, cocktails, or starry nights over the Atlantic Ocean. The large TV in the living area is equipped with cable and Roku streaming apps. There is a designated work space in the living room, as well.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all of your needs in mind! If you have plans to cook or entertain your family & friends, you will find almost everything that you could wish for! A laundry room is located off of the kitchen for your convenience!

The beach is a short walk down the resort's private boardwalk for those who can't wait to swim, sunbathe, collect seashells, or build sandcastles on the miles of pristine beaches and sand dunes for which South Carolina is famous. Within Palmetto Dunes you will also find three championship golf courses, including the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, as well as a world-class tennis and pickleball center. The tennis center is rated #1 in the Carolinas by Tennis World and in the top 25 in the world by Tennis Resorts Online. Several courts are lighted for nighttime enjoyment. Camps and lessons are offered for those who wish to learn or improve their skills.

Explore Palmetto Dunes' 50 miles of protected trails for walking, jogging, or biking. Kayak or canoe your way around the calm 11-mile saltwater lagoon. Bikes, kayaks, beach and sporting equipment can be easily rented locally. The Dunes Buggy is a complimentary shuttle service (subject to resort availability) for those who prefer to catch a ride to destinations within Palmetto Dunes. The Dunes Buggy runs from April through September from 8am-9pm.

***IMPORTANT***No Smoking. No Pets. No Parties. Please enjoy yourself and treat our home like you would treat your own. Do not take furniture out of the home or move it from one room or floor to another. NO RV's, sprinter vans or shuttles. No motorcycles or trailers are allowed on the property. Bikes must be secured. Only Windsor Court parking passes are permitted in Windsor Court parking lot. Other vehicles with passes from different complexes are subject to a citation or tow.

Guest Access:
Key code access will be provided in the days prior to your arrival for seamless check-in. Two parking passes are included in your rental rate. If you will need additional passes for your vehicles, you will need to pay $30.00 per pass and request all passes through host. Parking pass must be displayed in vehicle throughout your stay in Palmetto Dunes.

Getting Around:
The villa is located in the beautiful Palmetto Dunes/Leamington's Windsor Court South. Easy bike ride or walk to the beach. The resort has miles of bike paths, sidewalks and lagoon access for kayaking! The mid-island location is close to restaurants, shopping and the beach by vehicle or The Dunes Buggy shuttle service seasonally.

Other Things to Note:
Palmetto Dunes Resort does not permit RV's, Shuttles, or trailers. No logo or commercial signage vehicles permitted overnight.

Bugs
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.

According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”

If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we'll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!

Please don't worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You'll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it's not unusual to see some and it doesn't mean the home isn't well looked after!
