Looking to explore the beauty of Canmore in style? Enjoy your stay at a fantastic location within walking distance to downtown Canmore. This one bedroom, one bathroom luxury condo comfortably sleeps four people and is perfect for your Canmore getaway. The condo is equipped with your very own kitchen, private laundry, and gas fireplace. In addition, the Grand Rockies Resort offers a spacious indoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, and fitness center.
For one thing it wasnât much of a mountain view. I know it is by the parking garage ramp but it wouldnât hurt to have balcony swept and dusted The interior of condo was very nice. Enjoyed our stay.
Upon entering the suite we loved it right away. It was small and perfect for my family. It was located right on the main strip and was easy to get to and from the highway. 10/10 would stay again.
This unit was perfect for our little family. The kitchen is well stocked, in suite laundry, and a wonderful fireplace made for a cosy mountain getaway. The pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub and superfast waterslide were a repeat hit! We will stay again!
Suite is located next to entrance of parkade. Vehicle traffic is constant. as well there is the loading area. Trucks coming into the area with back up alarms at 5am...
We enjoyed our stay here. The location and amenities were perfect for our needs. Only area of improvement would be the cleanliness of the property. My assumption is that they hire people to come and clean between renters so they are unable to approve the quality of the job that their cleaners did. Just mostly dusty no serious cleanliness issues. Great place!
Decent location, great for resting your head at night between activities. The pool is very outdated and so is the apartment. We had trouble accessing the property and the host was no help.
The building is overall run down and a little worse for wear. The space was scuffed up, dusty, other peoples hair, kitchen counters were dirty. I wasnât comfortable walking around and bare feet or sitting on the furniture. The owner offered to come have it cleaned again, but we are so exhausted from our trip we didnât want the disturbance in the evening.
Check in was seamless and location was perfect.
Overall our stay was good. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The bed was comfortable as well. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The one drawback of this suite is the view...we looked directly onto a building and the driveway to the parkade with a very limited mountain view.
The owners are amazing very great communication. Excellent deal with will definitely deal with these owners in the future. Thank you very much for the stay. It was for my sons wedding.

Pool is closed for annual maintenance from April 13-18
We were not told anything about the pool and hot tub being closed but it unfortunately was. When we had picked the place specifically for the use of the pool. We were not told the building or floor was undergoing current construction. The floor looked a bit creepy since it was all gutted and being renovated. There was no instructions from how to go from the parking garage up to the room so that was a bit confusing. The condition of the suite was not as high end as we expected. The bathroom door did not fully shut so when using the bathroom people can see in or your partner shouldn't go into the kitchen! The balcony door does not properly lock and can only be closed with a security stick which is not ideal for the main floor. Then before we even checked out at 10:45, the cleaning crew tired to enter our suite! We had to ask them to come back after 11.
The location and apartment were nice. Both my partner and I found the bed extremely uncomfortable though and the main reason we booked this room was because of the jet shower that was advertised in the pictures, however they did not work. Location was great, walking distance from in town trails and the town centre. If the bed and shower were fixed, would have been 5 stars
The property is located perfectly in the center of Canmore's main road. Your a short drive or short walk to the hip town center, yet also within walking distance is a shopping center with small businesses for a sit down breakfast or a grab and go breakfast as well as numerous cafes and coffe shops. (Our favorite was Rocky Mountain Bagel Co right across the street). Within 15 minutes youre in the wilderness among the mountains and wildlife. And youre only 20-30 minutes to banff.
The resort itself is clean, calm and, easy to access. The host does a great job of including instructions for everything. The unit is homey clean and inviting. The bed is comfortable and everything was clean and convenient. Id stay here again surely.
Place was as advertised. Had a little problem with the door lock initially. The phone contact was responsive.
The shower pan leaked a little. I left a message with the checkout process.
The place and location were good. Only small âcould be betterâ was the quality of the towels.
Definitely could use a good cleaning. Lots of dust on fridge and stove. Linens smelled like moth balls. Bed was comfortable and the unit was quiet. The lengthy check in process was a lot to read. Definitely could be reduced by at least by half. Seemed a bit excessive.
We have stayed in this building multiple times and enjoy the pool and hot tub. This condo comes well stocked with more than we needed. The host is very accommodating and easy to reach. The only drawback is the location of the actual condo. It's on the first floor. When cars are entering the park aid, their lights shine into the windows. If you don't mind having your blinds closed all the time, it's not a big deal. Everything else was terrific.
