My perfect home away from home

I just loved my stay here. Me and the dogs were comfortable and I loved being able to ride my ebike out the carport and onto the trails. Access to so much solitude and desert beauty. We loved this place!

Great location only 10 miles to Bullfrog. Very clean, had everything we needed, beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay again.

Great house, Amazing star views

This was a great house, it had a very well equipped kitchen - including a decently stocked spice rack. The patio was great to sit on and watch a storm roll past on one of the days we were there, and the night sky was fabulous.

Great place to stay

We are long time houseboat owners who recently had our houseboat totaled so we were looking for a nice alternative! We weren’t sure how we would like it, but we rented a boat slip along with the house and had a great time. It was a nice layout, had great cooling and nice decks. We would book again!

Great!

It was good as always, had a little problem with the ac the second night, but they came out right away and had it up and running again. I will definitely stay here in the future.

First Time and Very Happy

We loved our stay at Bullfrog House in Ticaboo! The house was roomy, clean and and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great, beds were comfortable and the full kitchen made it a breeze to cook meals. Love having this option for our Lake Powell trips when a houseboat isn't in the cards. The staff was responsive and friendly. The hosue has a good vibe and we slept great so we were ready for a another fun day.

Best rental in Ticaboo.

Kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils and even some spices! Very clean and well kept. The A/C works so good we had to turn it down even in 100 plus degree temperatures. Great rental.

I took my sons and grandson along with my five year old great grand son on his first big boy fishing trip. It was amazing and the home was even better. So well furnished and comfortable. It was very clean and everything needed was there. The checklist was helpful making sure we left it the way we found it. I expect to use this place again on future trips to our favorite fall and winter fishing. The kitchen was fully furnished with every utensil needed. We arrived a bit early and they allowed us to unload our food and get in some fishing early. Thanks

Clean with beautiful views!

The house was well-equipped, clean, and very quiet with nice outside deck space. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels/TP/Kleenex. The ice maker on the fridge worked well! There are a lot of prickers in the yard so keep your shoes on and watch your dog's feet. Overall this was a great place to stay.

Nice, quiet place!

We enjoyed our stay at Bullfrog. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and very secluded. Really loved the surprise of the Sleep Number bed!! We didn’t need all the beds but there are many!! The ONLY thing we hoped for was a DVD or two. There is a player but we didn’t bring any. Of course we didn’t spend too much time there because there is SO MANY things to do within a couple of hours of this places.

Beware of spiders… There everywhere!

The overall house is convenient and close to bullfrog, but they were not sheets for all the beds and there was spiders everywhere! I think my son killed 30 spiders the first night we checked in. Beside that the house was fine..

This home is conveniently located near Bullfrog Marina and provides a comfortable base for your stay. We always encourage our guests to reach out immediately if any issues arise during their visit so we can assist right away. Please note that during this time of year, spiders can occasionally be more visible around the property. We are happy to send someone to help once notified. Okay.

The house was in a great location, easy to get to and check-in was simple. The house seemed clean, but the showers weren’t, and there was dog hair- especially on the couches. There was no shampoo or conditioner. The sponge in the sink were old and gross. There was plenty of room. great communication with the property owner.

I really enjoyed the house. We normally stay on a houseboat from the other side of the lake, but wanted to try something different this time. The house was great and had a good setup for the crowd we brought. Everyone had a comfortable bed and there were enough supplies for us to do our cooking and such for the week. The area is very remote so plan on bringing most of your meals, food, supplies as the only stores are well stocked convinience stores in the area. Everything nearby closes pretty early too.For us we did a combination of launching our boat and jet skis and using a slip. Both worked well and the total time from the house to being on the water was about an hour. The house has plenty of parking for our bigger truck and boat. Van and jet skis and another car we needed to shuttle people around. The long carport was very convinient as well keeping our vehicles out of the hot sun. The lake was fairly quiet compared to the other end and we had a great time exploring the canyons near bullfrog.Would recommend highly. Great way to see the lake on this end without the hassle and expenses of taking a houseboat out.

We’re thrilled to share that our property is in a fantastic location, everything you need for a relaxing stay. The house itself is comfortable and welcoming, making it a great home base for your visit. We want to be transparent with future guests: while we maintain high cleaning standards, occasional oversights can happen, so we encourage guests to reach out immediately if anything doesn’t meet expectations, as this guest did. The refrigerator is fully operational, but we always recommend checking it upon arrival to ensure it’s set to your preference. Regarding the outdoor area, like many mountain properties, some natural elements such as goat heads (spiky seed pods) can appear in the yard. These are a common feature in the region, so we advise guests with pets or children to take normal precautions when enjoying the outdoor spaces. Overall, the house is a charming and comfortable retreat in a prime location, and we look forward to hosting guests who enjoy both the convenience and character of our property.
