The apartment at Villa Magna was perfect for our family stay. The unit is clean and comfortable; the facilities, beach, and adjacent resort are safe, convenient, and tranquil.

The location, layout, resort, beach front and view were wonderful. Communication with the owner was great. Only reason the rating is a 4 rather than a 5 was issues more in the property manager's realm.

Great experience and accommodation with this beachfront condo. Marco the property manager was there to greet us and he was very quick to respond when we had questions. We really appreciate accommodating us with early and late check-in/out. We recommend taking part in karaoke night, it was very entertaining. There was a cool and heated pool we really liked!!

Wonderful vacations

We had an amazing time at Villa Magna in Joseph condo. We had everything we needed, the condo is well equipped and spacious. The location was great, pools and beach perfect. There was a lot of really good restaurants near, but we also enjoyed the BBQ and the terrace, the view was incredible. We will be back!!!

Beautiful Christmas break

Beautiful beach and lots of pools. The condos themselves need updating but they had everything we need, including lots of beach gear. Beautiful balcony overlooking the pools. The Nuevo area is beautiful. We will be back.

Relaxed, comfortable and fun!

The Villa Magna is a very relaxing environment with Joseph’s place being a very comfortable third floor location near the elevator/stairs. We spent evenings over looking the pool and ocean. Great variety with pool or ocean settings to enjoy our days. Wonderful!!

Right on the beach

The condo was clean and had everything you need you can just stop before hand and pick up a few groceries and drinks. It’s on the 2nd floor and really close to the beach and many pools to choose from. We had a rental car and think it was a great idea to get around to go out for diner and go to other beaches and such. Although they do have a drink and snack bar but we like going to places where the locals go so we got a car. We liked that the place is not to strict and allows coolers and you can bring snacks and drinks by the pool area and the beach they have lots of garbage cans all over and all the areas are clean. Overall the place is great!!

Perfect for us

Our stay was perfect for five seniors. It was just what we wanted, on the beach and pools beside us. When we had a minor issue, it was fixed immediately. There were some great restaurants about a twenty minute walk away. Taxis were easy to get, and a bus stop was close by. The beds were all comfortable and bathrooms were roomy. We often went to the snack bar just below us for happy hour or a meal. We didn’t know until a few days before we left that we could order drinks by the pool and pay cash thru the all inclusive. The only negative about the condo was the distance to get groceries but we figured it out quickly.

Everything we expected and more!

Our family stayed for 4 days and we had everything we needed and more. Every room was well stocked and clean and nicer than the pictures. The location is right in front of the snack bar and pool closest to the beach. Air conditioning was cold and everyone had independent control in their rooms. We did not bother purchasing the all inclusive package extra and saved money by paying as we went at the snack bar, and using the very well stocked full size kitchen. Communication with the host was timely and thorough. Marcos manages the property and met us when we arrived. He is super friendly and helpful and speaks English perfectly. We will be back in the area again and would definitely stay here again. Not a single disappointment. Thanks to Joe and family for sharing your beautiful holiday property.

Excellent Property

We loved Joe's place with so much space for our family to move around. It's located just above the pool deck with excellent views. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. We had a couple issues on check-in, but the property manager, Marcos, was right on it. He was easy to get a hold of and made our stay even better. In the midst of the July heat, we took taxis everywhere we went. There is a small strip mall about 15 min (walk) away with several restaurants and a few shops. The poolside bar had great snacks and drinks at reasonable prices too!

So much more than we expected!

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, the resort and everything it had to offer. The condo is exactly as described and was very comfortable for our family of 5 (3 adults, 2 teens). It was so nice to each have our own space instead of being cramped into a tiny hotel room with one bathroom! The location of the condo is PERFECT! Close to the pool, beach and amazing snack bar that has everything you need for a quick lunch and drink. What I like most about the condo: location, comfortable beds, everything worked, clean, amazing views, resort amenities and of course Joe. He provides so much great information to make the stay enjoyable. Couldn’t ask for a better host. We will definitely go back! Thanks for everything Joe (and Marcos and Mario).

celebrating a 40th birthday

Swimming is only allowed from 11 AM to 8 PM which was a bummer.... The beach is completely dark..take a flashlight. Dreams hotel...great for family...but if you're into venturing out with locals, the all inclusive is not worth it... They have a very specific time and when that time comes it gets very crowded. If you come back from an excursion and just want to buy a few drinks you still have to buy the all inclusive for $98 dollars... Other than that the condo is great! great view very comfy homie wonderful place!

We are thrilled that you enjoyed our condo and hope you can return soon! One of the great things about this area is that we do indeed have good access to many local activities outside of the resort. We agree that all-inclusive should be planned for use on days that you're planning to stay mostly on the resort. Covid has unfortunately caused the snack bar to close temporarily. Normally we have this as a wonderful option for pay-as-you go drinks and snacks. It will be back!

Nice place.

This is a nice condo with 3 bedrooms. The host is very nice and responsive. He also has a property manager that is a real sweetheart. However, we arrived and the place was not clean.... completely. We had to get the PM to change the sheets and to send the housekeeper for the kitchen. Nonetheless, it was corrected and the host compensated us for the trouble. I would recommend this condo for others.

Christmas 2019

This is our second time renting a condo in Villa Magna residence and again we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We would definitely recommend renting this unit which is well stocked with all necessities and maintained adequately. Marcos the property manager met us on check in and answered all our questions. Located on a great beach which you can walk for miles.

Wonderful Vacation

If you are looking to rent a condo in Nuevo look no further. This property met and exceeded all of our expectations. Location is fantastic and since the condos are connected to Dreams resort there Is plenty to do within the complex. The condo is well equipped with anything that you will need during your stay and close to many restaurants. Our only complaint, although small, is that the safe had been locked by the previous guests. The property manager tried to unlock it unsuccessfully, he was to return the following day to fix it but never did. A very small inconvenience but would have been nice to lock up passports and valuables. We would highly recommend!!
