Thank you for the feedback Kent. We’re sorry the AC wasn’t cooling when you checked in Friday evening. When you contacted us around 9:30pm we offered to move you to another available unit, which you declined. Our AC technician arrived the next day and had the unit repaired by early afternoon. You mentioned the fans you’d purchased were working fine and that it wasn’t a major issue. We offered to reimburse you for the fans if you left the receipt and the fans with us; you chose to take them with you instead. Regarding the pool: as noted in our listing description and photos, it is a community pool open to the public (not a private pool on-site). We appreciate you staying with us and hope the rest of your stay went well. Safe Travels, Bart & Sue

Thank you for your feedback, we aren't surprised by your comments or the fact that you would penalize us with a 1 star review for your decision to book our apartment. We can say to all future guests, please be sure you read the listings before you book a reservation at any rental property. The property size, # of beds, bedrooms & bathrooms are all noted in the listing as are TV locations, amenities and description of the area. Please do not book a 3 BR apartment when you really need a 5 bedroom place. You will be disappointed with your decision. There is also a map of the area of where the property is located. Be sure to look at it so you know where you are booking your reservation and can see what is in the surrounding area. As hosts, we put all of that information into our listings so that future guests can decide where they want to stay. We spent considerable time with this guest in advance of their stay, provided a 3 page detailed listing of a variety of things to do in the surrounding area with links to each and a description as well - and the things are not 3 hours away. However, the Jacksonville area is the largest landmass city in the US - you will be driving around to get to things. The information about the Town Pool is noted in the listing, along with a link for more information including the hours it is open and that it is operated by the Town of Green Cove Springs, not us. We don't have any control over what those places do. We can certainly appreciate this guest's disappointment in their choice and for not reading the listing, reviewing the area and understanding where they were making their reservation. We too are disappointed that after several 5 star reviews, we now have a 1 star review on our property due to no fault of ours or our place. Thanks for taking the time to read our reply - we know there are plenty of guests around that would love Green Cove Springs, FL and the beautiful area that it is. Thanks! Bart & Sue

Hi Kenia, Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We can leave some Jet Dry to use with the dishwasher - we do have harder water and once the dishes dry in the dishwasher - that is where there are some spots coming from. Thank you for sharing that with us. We will also share your comments with the outside cleaning company that we use and let them know. We would have been happy to send them back over to do an additional cleaning for you if we would have known. We always recommend our guests notify us as soon as there is any issue so we can help get it fixed! Thank you again! Bart & Sue

Thanks so much Deborah! We are very happy you enjoyed everything! Thanks so much! Bart & Sue
