Kotare is part of the 380sqm Bluewater Sanctuary Lodge with its own private entrance and private setting. Your journey starts in the light filled grand entrance from there you can access stairs to the elevated bedroom which has sweeping views over rural hinterland and beyond to the South Pacific Ocean. Take in the Poor Knights from your bedroom with private ensuite and rise from the super king bed as the new day begins. Kotare has the Bluewater Sanctuary Lodge kitchens which are all private and beautifully appointed. Alternatively use the weber bbq on the outside deck. From the kitchen the space flows to the dining area and bar nook then down from the timber floors to the beautiful tiled lounge which opens from all sides on to lawns that wrap around the native gardens. Here you can sit in front of the open fire and take in the sea views to the Poor Knights, Matapouri Bay and Northland Coast to Cape Brett. Have a drink on the deck or in the spa as the western sun sets over the Northland hinterland. At night you can sit in the Hot Tub watching the stars and listening to local kiwis and moorporks calling to each other.
