Ship Yard Stay

We were in the area for our son to play at shipyard. We stayed with another family from our team and loved how close to the beach we were. We had 6 kids who loved the property and we loved how one family could be downstairs and the other family upstairs at times for our own space or we could all hang out together! Property looked great and fit exactly what we needed! Looking forward to coming back!

Girls Anniversary Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at this two story home. It was a great fit for our time outside of Charleston as Isle of Palms was a cute little charm that we were not expecting. the convenience to the beach and the ease of getting to restaurants and the Black Food Truck Festival made this a great pick! none of us had been here before and we were not sure what we were getting ourselves into. Easy to find, large enough for our whole party and great place for a long weekend stay.

A couple of short blocks walk to the beach, lovely porch, kitchen and living area sufficient for the number of guests in the home, clean house and comfortable beds and linens, good proximity to Charleston, excellent and responsive communication from host. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Warm & Welcoming Stay

We had such a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The home itself was comfortable and made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time. We rented a golf cart from IOP golf cart rental and had a blast while our home was being remodeled. Thank you again for sharing your space with us. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay

Gorgeous property, it was clean and had plenty of rooms/beds for me and my friends. Close, 2 minute walk to beautiful dog friendly beach. And a close proximity to many delicious restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Phenomenal location

Overall, this was such an amazing place to stay! It was a stones throw away from the beach and the house itself was an amazing space.

The minute we opened the door, there was a heavy stench of what smelled like stale beer/ mold/mildew. The one bedroom with daybed that was very uncomfortable. The 2 twin size beds on the bottom floor had some type of plastic that was so loud and uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the price for the stay. However when we contacted the host about the mold/mildew after waking up the next morning to red itchy eyes, and congestion, they couldn’t seem to find mold anywhere. We did ask for air purifiers that masked the problem for the next few days.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry you experienced discomfort during your stay. When you contacted us, we responded promptly and inspected the home but found no evidence of mold or mildew. As a precaution, we cleaned the vents, replaced the air filters, and provided an air purifier. Our hot, humid Lowcountry climate can affect indoor and outdoor air conditions and may aggravate seasonal allergies, particularly for visitors accustomed to a different climate.

Great spot for a family vacation

I visited IoP with my family in September and stayed at Carolina Breezes West. The location is very close to the beach, just an easy two minute walk. The house was well stocked with beach gear, including chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some family meals together. All in all, it was a great place to rent for a family vacation

Vacation from St louis

We really enjoyed the stay. It was a nice close walk to the beach. Grocery stores were nice and close. Overall it was a great place in a great vacation. We would be interested in going back.

Perfect for families

We had a blast for fall break! The short walk to the beach was perfect for our family with small kids. Loved having a washer and dryer as well! We would definitely consider staying here again!
