The house was spotlessly clean, the garden is beautiful, communication was excellent. We love the location and went walking at Lake Alexandra each day. Could not have been more perfect for our family Christmas getaway for the second year running. We thoroughly recommend this gorgeous, well appointed cottage. Thank you so much for the thoughtful touches of local wine, free range eggs and chocolates.

This house is beautiful! We walked in and said, Wow! Spacious, clean, quiet, filled with interesting artefacts and furniture, very well equipped with everything we could want to use, and there were many extra inclusions we didn't expect. All linen, fittings and inclusions are high quality, e.g. luxurious towels, shower drains that work efficiently, comfortable beds, and eco friendly THANKYOU" soaps, shampoo etc) The outside area is very private and pretty, and visited by many birds. Shady and sunny spots, outdoor setting, barbeque, attractive garden. Off street parking.Walk to Alexandra Lake and to main Street.Everything about this stay, from booking to check out, was a breeze. We get together once a year and now we want to come back here each time.Adam was very easy to communicate with, and he gave us a few extra tips via the Stayz messaging facility.We all agreed there were not enough superlatives to describe this lovely cottage.

Adam & Nat were easy to deal with, responsive and helpful.Ponsonby is a lovely peaceful cottage, beautifully furnished and the beds are so comfortable! Walking distance to Mittagong Centre and a short drive to Bowral town centre, it’s a great place to stay!

Ponsonby is a beautiful little cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Adam and Nat had thought of everything to ensure our stay was comfortable. To the lead up to our stay Adam was great with communication and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again or recommend to others.

Great place and location

The house was fabulous with a lovely garden, cosy lounge room and comfortable beds. The location is perfect with most things accessible without driving: we rode to the Welby mountain bike trails, walked to Lake Alexandra, went on a hike from the house, walked to cafes, restaurants and the pub. We only drove to go to the bakery and the Mittagong mushroom tunnels. The train station is in walking distance too. Everything was well organised and easy. Adam and Nat we'll be back.

Weekend away

The cottage was all that and more. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The lounge area was very cosy with the gas heather and our party of four were able to stretch out comfortably on the couch. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools for cooking. The hosts were very generous in supplying a couple of very thoughtful arrival items including a small birthday cake. We loved it and would definitely look to book again.

This place was the absolute cutest, most comfy location we stayed in during our journey down under. We traveled from the states to attend the wedding of a childhood friend at the book barn. This location was perfect for our two families and all the kiddos. Close to amenities and close to the venue. Recommend 100%

Adam & Nat have a beautiful house in a really great spot! A really central place to explore the Southern Highlands from. We stayed 3 nights and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a beautiful Easter roast dinner for our local family, used the gorgeous yard for an egg hunt for the kids and the lounge room for playing charades. There were so many thoughtful and appreciated inclusions. It was so relaxing and comfortable. The beds are divine. The bathrooms are lovely. Everything was perfect. You should definitely stay here. We will stay again for sure!

Brilliant property

We were wowed from the moment we arrived. The rooms and house are much bigger and brighter the photos suggest, the kitchen and bathrooms have been beautifully renovated, thoughtful luxury finishes like underfloor heating and bonus books and games for all ages. We would have loved to stay longer.

A warm & inviting home away from home. There was nothing to fault. The home included everything we needed for a weekend with friends. Lounge was super comfy by the fire and the beds ensured a great night sleep. Will be back again.

Highlands Getaway

Ponsonby is a delightful cottage in a great location in Mittagong. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. It is very spacious and well appointed with some generous kitchen and bathroom supplies to get you started. Lovely garden to enjoy. Very comfortable for 6 adults and an infant.
