This house was perfect for the 9 of us! More bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms than we expected. The location is perfect, right down town near all shopping and restaurants, we could say enough good things about this property!
Loved our stay here! Perfect for our group of 5 guys for our annual ski trip. The included breakfast was a nice touch. Everything was super clean, beds were comfy which was a nice treat after a long day in the hill. Gear room, boot dryer also nice! Coner and the staff were all amazing!
What an incredible stay at The Copeland. We had 3 generations (8ppl) stay comfortably with lots of extra space. The host / manager was available and provided easy and clear instructions. Everything is walkable from the house and the hill is a short drive or shuttle away. The boot room was an awesome bonus space. Thank you!!!
This house is spectacular. Beautiful, very large, historic, sparkling clean. Luxurious and thoughtful little details like the great coffee and tea stations and the water and robes in rooms. I recommend wearing slippers or clean shoes indoors to avoid slivers from the floors.
We rented the entire house as a group of 10 for 4 nights for a ski trip. The house is stunning, the location is ideal, and the rooms are huge with comfy beds. Manager communication is excellent. The original listing wasn't clear that there was no access to a stove, but the managers clarified this ahead of time and allowed us to use the microwave. The continental breakfast was way better than I expected (like a charcuterie with bakery fresh breads, yogurt, and granola) and the access to coffee/espresso at all times was wonderful. They mentioned that they weren't used to large groups in the last couple years because of COVID and sometimes it showed - glasses were cleared after breakfast but weren't replaced and the kitchen is "staff only" so a few times we had to ask for more glasses/mugs. We also had to ask for more toilet paper and extra towels which we would have been happy to grab on our own if we were allowed to. Conner (live-in staff person) was very responsive and kind when we asked though. There wasn't a specific gear storage area but it didn't really matter because the place is so huge. I just didn't want to harm the gorgeous hardwood! Overall, a great place and would definitely stay again. I suspect they can work out the minor service kinks for groups renting the whole place. Thanks for having us!
The Copeland provides well appointed accommodations to connect guests with the Revelstoke community and the town's relaxed mountain lifestyle. Steeped in history, the property dates back to the late 1800's when it was constructed for the infamous Mayor of Revelstoke, Frank McCarty. This heritage building is now being reimagined as an elegant home away from home for outdoor enthusiasts, mountain aficionados and discerning travellers. Stay, adventure, connect.
