You are twenty minutes from Akaroa which has a number of amenities. You are a short distance from a number of walks if you want to explore the Peninsular or simply relax and enjoy the native Kereru and Fantail that inhabit the surrounding trees.

For the children there is a stream at the back of the property which will keep them entertained for hours. The property is fenced although for those intent on escaping it is not fully secure.

The property is minutes from the beach and domain that contains tennis court, kids play ground, flying fox, basketball hoop and rope swing. The beach is safe for kids and there is a river at the southern end of the beach which is a perfect place to play and explore. Seals can often be seen playing around the rocks and Dolphins are often spotted in the bay.
