Tale Of Two Halves
Tale of two halves. The apartment was generally OK. Good facilities, clean and well positioned to services. However several issues were impinging on our comfort. There was no air conditioning, nor ceiling fans. I failed to recognise this in the advertisement. Three small floor pedestal fans were available but were completely inadequate. Our stay was in late March, the whole apartment was hot in the late afternoon even with the windows, doors open, the bedrooms, particularly remained warm all night. In high summer the apartment would be a sauna with little opportunity to cool it. The beds in the apartment were sub standard for an apartment of this cost. The second rooms twin beds were designed for small children at best and the springs could be felt through the mattress. I failed to see in the advertisement there was no WI-FI nor internet. Again this seems to be an omission for a luxury apartment. A small but increasingly annoying feature of the Managing Agent was the number of emails and Texts that were sent to me. We stayed three nights and over the time from booking to after we left we received over 30 emails and texts. Mostly informative but it started to be intrusive. I have utilised Stayz many times but always dealt with the owner. The managing agent required early payments and a $500 bond. A bit over the top I thought. They also required during a registration process an image of my licence and credit card. In these days of hacks and scams I don't care how good their

bad quality mattresses. we put pillows on top of mattresses which didn't help.
Very disappointed with this property as we hardly got any sleep. We also had to clean the property ourselves as it was not clean. There wasn't a mop bucket to clean with, so we had to buy one, which we left in the property including a mop. We have raised our disappointment in regard to this property and its condition and asked for a refund as we weren't able to enjoy our holiday. We emailed photos to Matt Baker, Client director from Pacific Cost holidays rental in Forster and also handed Matt the receipt for the mop bucket to be refunded back to us. We are still waiting for a response from Pacific Coast Holidays in regard to this matter.

Great location
This unit is in a great location close to beach marina and shops however it is showing it's age i.e. very old tv and furniture dining table is very stained fans are old and rusty vanity in main bathroom is water damaged . Loved the washing machine but no washing basket or enough pegs.
