Bliss On The Water is great value, family waterfront holiday accommodation, in the lovely Mermaid Waters.

Bliss On The Water is central to all the Gold Coast has to offer such as beautiful beaches, cafes, Casino, Convention Centre, nightclubs, restaurants and shopping centres. There are numerous championship golf courses and theme parks close by. Drive yourself or take advantage of the convenient public transport and the modern light rail. Make Bliss On The Water your next stay, you will not be disappointed!

With five spacious bedrooms, two of them with king beds that can be split into singles if preferred and bunks for the kids, master King bedroom with ensuite and a Queen bedroom...there is ample space for that long awaited family get together, or perfect for a conference or event at the Convention Centre.

Dine alfresco with your own barbeque overlooking the serene waterfront. Watch the kids swimming in the large sparkling pool from your own "bar" or the outdoor lounge. Laze by the pool and watch the lights of Broadbeach start to twinkle on the skyline.

Perfect for a big family

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for our big group and we loved the layout and the pool!We had a small issue with a leaky tap and a tv not working but the team was great and once we let them know both were fixed by the time we'd gotten home the next day.A great locatio to get around feom!

We were disappointed with obvious lack of maintenance and whilst it was a homely atmosphere, the property itself very much needs TLC and attention to detail, inside and out. A little thing, for example an unstable glass top dining table when encouraging families to stay and not even placemats???With two major appliances needing to be replaced was very inconvenient, however, we have nothing praise for how quickly the problems were addressed.

Family fun

We enjoyed our stay..it’s a nice big house..kids loved the pool..there were some workmen around as the exterior was having building work done on the front eaves..there is some wear and tear on the property because of age and constant use..overall it suited our needs

Disappointing

This property is nothing like the pictures. It’s extremely run down and not thought about. The cleanliness is horrible, no bins in bathrooms ect. The ensuite door is heavy and does not slide properly. I would not recommend. Have stayed in far nicer properties for less and will not be back.

First impression of meetup , the woman from Bliss was abrupt and overly pushy. But better interaction with other office manager Vignette. Home was not like photographs. Cleaning not up to scratch. Dirty diapers found from previous stayers, and property just unkept. Owners need to step up and do regular maintenance and keep on top of problems. Broken doors, door handles, cupboards lights and rubbish around outside disgusting. My family have never seen such a rental in all the years we have traveled the world and Australia. For the money it was a rip off, but once management of Bliss realised it was priced way too high they have refunded a small amount. I just hope that in future the problems are fixed for their future clientele. If it was up to scratch it could make a lovely place to visit, on the inlet where we did catch fish. Manta rays in abundance, the pool kept us cool and the laundry facilities useful. TVs did not really work well and lounges need repairing or replacing. The doors on ensuite are ridiculous, they are not inside doors and people with shoulder, hand or back problems cannot glide them. Beware. Overall family holiday done, great to be with family and being close to Shopping Centre was a plus. Would I use this company again? Not sure. Our family score gave it a 4/10. Please pass on feedback to the actual owners. Thanks.

Spacious but needs work

Lovely big house, kids loved the pool and we enjoyed our stay but definitely needs some work hopefully the owner takes the maintenance and suggestions list we wrote into consideration.Sliding door handle is broken, tvs are out dated, missing remotes or do not work, decking around pool is dangerous, no laundry basket supplied, the bath is so hard to get in and out of, bbq is rusted out and catches fire, the house needs a good outside clean. Be careful with the glass dining table as the glass moves.A real bummer we couldn’t watch tv in the lounge as it was missing remotes but was lucky we brought our ps5 and laptop to watch.Xbox is offered but no connectionsWould recommend asking for extra towels pretty silly they only give 1 towel per person (we ended up buying a few towels for swimming) they would save a bit of money on power if they offered 2 towels per person. Also recommend stopping at the shop for milk, coffee, snacks and drinks etc before arriving.

Spacious House

The house was spacious and slept 13 using the 2 double bunks. There is sufficient parking on site for 4-5 vehicles although no parking on the street as Rio Vista Boulevard is a major street. The house and pool area need some maintenance. The wooden deck was falling apart in sections. We were disappointed with the tv options as we couldn’t update Chromecast to login to our foxtel or Stan etc. our major problem was that with 13 adult women staying in the house there was only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet apart from the ensuite. For what we paid we expected a little better. The aircon was noisy and the remote was hit and miss. The property was easy to get to and close to major shopping centres.

Very enjoyable stay - pity about the general upkeep!!

The house suited us perfectly for 5 children 3 parents plus one grandmother. The pool was lovely and the kids had so much fun in it. The house is roomy. But I guess because I am a gardener I found the general outside area very messy and there was a lot of work that needed doing to the house. The chairs in the bar area needed throwing out. The ranch sliders were very hard to slide and the aluminum was very dirty. The house cleaners did a good job on the whole and came back to clean the fridge after we requested it. I think that because it is booked solidly the cleaners don't have a lot of time. The first thing we did was wash down the outside area around the BBQ area. It is a shame because the house is very well suited to a big family group.

The house is in dire need of maintenance

The toilets and showers all leak. The BBQ is dangerous, rusted out and unusable. The pool deck is unsafe and about to collapse. The roof in the house leaks, along with the pergola. Had issues with dishwasher blocking. Had to clean up broken glass in outdoor area upon arrival.
