We spent Thanksgiving weekend here and what a wonderful experience! Cottage is beautiful, with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Debra, our host, was available at all times if we had any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this property.

The cottage was beautiful and recently updated. Our host Debra was super responsive and we had everything we needed. Great location and flat sandy private beach. Perfect for watching the fall colours change. Would definitely recommend!

Best cottage iv stayeded at!

The property is absolutely stunning inside and out. The beds were dreamy to sleep on and if water is your thing, everything you need to enjoy it is at your fingertips. Loved that you had the option of lounging on the sand beach or enjoying a glass of wine on the dock. Warm weed free lake is an added bonus. Mother nature kept us indoors for a good part of our stay,,so we will most certainly be booking again next year.

Amazing Experience!

This is by far the best cottage we have been too. The home was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is an entertainers dream! The view was fantastic and we spent a night gazing at the stars while listening to the sound of the water. A truly tranquil place that we hope we can visit again soon!

Great Stay for Fall

We visited the cottage during the beginning of the fall, the cottage is clean and beautiful, and basically close to the places we wanted to see the fall colors. The owner of the property is very kind and shared with us all the detailed information about the neightbourhood. We will definltey recommend.

Perfect weekend getaway

Beautiful property with lake access. Would be nice to come back in summer to play on the sand beach. Very helpful owner, available any time we needed help. Offered to provide bedding to solve our confusion/ concern. Great location with awesome view. Enjoyed the stay with my family and parents

Fantastic cottage

This was a great place to stay. Very clean cottage with tons of outdoor space. Loved the firepit, dock, huge deck and very spacious kitchen. Would definitely return. The pictures don’t show it but there is a cottage to the right and a small trailer park to the left of the cottage. That said, it was very quiet most of the time. Bedding is not provided so you’ll need a pillow and blanket.

Beautiful cottage

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake access cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how clean, cozy, and well-maintained everything was. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The lake access was fantastic for water activities! The views from balcony were unbeatable. Inside, the cottage was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, just to bring your own beddings. Overall, this was one of the best stays we’ve had, and we would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful lakefront getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent place and location!

We had a wonderful time there.The house was so beautiful and well equipped.The lake by the house was so beautiful.The owner kept all kind of kayak,canoes,fishing boat etc.You will never be bored in this hoise.The pictures don't do justice to this house.This place is awesome.Do not have a doubt in your mind and go there and see for yourself!! The hosts were amazing too.I will definitely be back in there.

Dream Getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time by the lake here. Debra was a fantastic host - it was easy to communicate with her and she was very helpful and clear with location, instructions and more! The space is as beautiful as represented in the pictures, if not more, and there is so many activities that you can do. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boating, sitting by the camp fire and watching movies. There is something to do for everyone and in all kinds of weather. Highly recommend, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Quiet and peaceful

The place is about 100kms from Algonquin provincial park, which made it easier to go back and forth. The best part is that the cottage is adjacent to the lake and the owner provided kayaks and canoe. The cottage was clean and had most of the basic stuff. Please note: the cottage does not include toiletries and bedding (they provide mattress, that's all). This was not clear from the listing, but Debra gave us a heads up prior to our check-in so that we could arrange it for ourselves. Another bummer was that the sauna was not functional when we stayed. Apart from that, everything else was perfect! :)

Hi Shrey; thank you for your review. I appreciate the feedback. It does say in the listing that bedding, towels are not included when I look up the listing, so I’m not sure why it isn’t showing on yours. We also don’t provide your personal toiletries, toothpaste, etc. everything else was there for your use. We also don’t advertise a sauna at the property nor do we have it on the listing as an option or a feature. The sauna is not part of the rental since it’s not completely finished as of yet thank you again for the review it was a pleasure to have you.

Great quiet cottage getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at Debra’s cottage. The scenery is beautiful, the cottage is beautifully renovated and was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids) and friends (2 adults, 1 under 2yrs). The giant deck, fireplace, huge dining table and perfectly stocked kitchen were our highlights. There were lots of games to play, kids plates for meals (which was an excellent surprise), and everything we needed in the kitchen. The giant chairs were perfect for cozying up to the fire with a book. My biggest feedback, is more detail could be provided in the listing! There’s lots of great stuff that we brought because we weren’t sure the cottage it (e.g., coffee maker, cooking oil etc.). Also the listing doesnt specify the renter must provide bedding (sheets and blankets and towels). It could be an important detail to include. Thanks for everything! We would recommend if you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Beautiful winter getaway

We enjoyed this beautiful cottage; the large table was awesome for large dinners and card games. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect as snowshoeing and hiking trails were close by. The host was very helpful and kind.

Great family cottage

We went one weekend before thanksgiving to see the fall colours. The owner Debra was great to communicate with and the cottage was new and had all the amenities with a great deck and dock to hangout. The cottage had a great low sloping beach for the kids to play and a dock with all the water toys ie canoe, kayaks etc. The cottage rental is the entire 2nd floor, while the lower ground floor is still being built. There access through stairs or few steps to the deck and into the cottage. Great family cottage no need to leave as has all the comforts and views. Great spot and location will be back again.

Idyllic Cottage

This cottage has everything you could ever want. A few favourite things were the sand beach, clear sparking water, spacious deck with comfy lounge couches and brand new paddle boards. The owners were lovely to communicate with.

July vacation

Fantastic space, beautiful views, everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation was available on site. So we didn't need to leave the property unless we wanted to (great for pandemic vacation)
