Everglade Getaway

This place provided a convenient location to explore everything the Everglades have to offer. Pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of this place, along with the well equipped kitchen. Would definitely book again for a future Everglade trip!

Wonderful week long stay

The condo was clean and inviting on arrival. It was well stocked with supplies, drinks, snacks and appliances. Everglades City is a great, old Florida destination with lots of water-based opportunities for fun. The people go out of their way to be friendly and helpful, particularly the Everglades City Marina where we launched the boat at no cost. The restaurants are comfortable and the food very well prepared. Sunrise over Lake Placid was a joy and the breeze out on the water kept us very comfortable.

Not relaxing

Check in was very easy. Property is an old hotel that has seen better days. The unit is very outdated. I made my wife a drink in one of the glasses in the cabinet and had to throw it away because of a very bad odor. We went through the cabinet and washed all the glasses and cups so we could use them. My allergies and my wive’s kicked up bad as there was a lot of dust on the fans, especially the bathroom exhaust fan. We made it , our stay, work and didn’t complain, but wished to alert others on what to expect from this property. I did reach out to the property manager and he thanked me and said it would be addressed. This is our first, not so good, experience with a VRBO property.

Everglades Fishing Trip

Very good condition and well represented. Needed a little help finding the condo unit, but host gave us immediate help. Convenient to local restaurants and boating facilities. Quiet place at night which was very nice. Would stay there again.

3 days in EvergladesCity

Things were OK A few more bath towels would have been nice. The kitchen was the major disappointment. There were no baking dishes, no blender, toaster (only a toaster oven that generally burned bread), no griddle, no rubber spatulas, “silverware” did not match. Tongs were not workable. Can opener nearly impossible-asked owner for a working one but did not hear back,, We had a nice memorable time!

Excellent Condo - Great Location, Value and Amenities!

Excellent owner communication. Condo was clean, and exactly as posted/advertised. Everglades City was a a fun area to explore both on land and on the water. Pool and free ramp right next door were definite perks! Loved it, and we will stay here again!

We had a pleasant stay, the owner was very easy to communicate with, there was no soap at the sinks the hotel manager gave us bars of soap. The shower had all the toiletries there.

Overpowering fragrance diffusers

We stayed two nights at the condo which was centrally located in town. We had 4 adults and two kids staying in the condo. Both of the kids slept on each of the fold down futons. When we opened the futons to prepare for bed, we were shocked to find quite a build up of crumbs and gunk in the crease. We found two extra sheets to cover the futons with. We were unable to find more blankets for the futons, however it was so warm in the condo the kids slept with just a sheet. The beds in the other rooms had spot stains on the sheets and it was unclear to us if they were clean. We went to use the washer and dryer and found laundry in the dryer. We are not sure who it belonged to. The condo had 5 room fragrance diffusers (glade plug-ins) which we moved outdoors during our stay due to the over powering smell. We had to open the windows and doors to help circulate the smell out. The smell was intense. Check-in and check-out was easy and convenient. Cleanliness and smell is a major factor when we select a VRBO, which is why I wouldn't stay here again.

Affordable and Relaxing

Small town feel, with ample opportunities to relax and enjoy yourself. Condo met all of our needs on our Vacation. Communication was excellent, the property was as described in the listing. Check in, and out, was easy. Excellent communication on what the process would be. Only negative was the towel rack behind the toilet. It prevented you from sitting all the way back on the throne. We simply moved it out of the way while we stayed and put it back before we left. We would definitely stay in this Condo again, and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Quiet, relaxing and quaint fishing village - this was the perfect location for a getaway!!

Spacious 2 bedroom unit with all the amenities. Owner is ultra helpful and provided immediate response via text when we asked about local shopping, etc. Lovely screened porch, complete kitchen and laundry facilities. Most comfortable!
