Fabulous View

We were in town for a wedding and some hiking. Property is in a nice golf community, and we were able to eat at the clubhouse, use the trails they have on property, as well as get to Stone Mountain easily.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Everything you could want is there and more. We really enjoyed the condo with its breathtaking views of sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains. Everything was spotless and clean, kitchen is fully equipped, and resort staff are friendly and helpful. We plan to come back in the fall.

Outstanding Property - Gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains

This condo is at the top of our list. My wife and I travel often. This condo is outstanding. Gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the 18th hole of Old Beau Golf Resort. The condo is beautiful, very well maintained and well stocked with everything you need. Plenty to do in the area. Great golf course. Grounds are very well maintained. Staff at Old Beau Resort are the best. 15 minutes from Food Lion grocery in Sparta NC. 45 minutes to Mt Airy, NC where Andy Griffith was born. If you go there make sure you go to Snappy Lunch. Great food at a very reasonable price. Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway is 10 minutes from the condo. Fabulous views along the parkway. Owner is very accommodating. Highly recommended and we will return.

Most wonderful weekend

The place was lovely ,clean and perfect for a weekend in the mountains. The surrounds were lovely and convenient to so many places. We went biking on the rail trail in Galax and the gallery crawl in Sparta. Regarding the condo you will not be disappointed for the view was spectacular as were the sunsets. Marissa was easy to reach with questions and she and Tom the owners left a note and a bottle of wine to welcome us. The people who live in this resort community were lovely as well. Just know that the condo is on the second floor if you are brining a family member who has difficulty navigating stairs. Thank you Marissa and Tom for sharing your wonderful home with us, Always, Beth and Phil

Beautiful view

This was a beautiful property. Marissa was very helpful and easy to work with.. She sent us information about the club and the amenities. We made a dinner reservation at the golf club the first night. You also have a well stocked kitchen if you wanted to cook at the property. Plenty of hiking trails and vineyards to visit Thank you for the complimentary wine!

We could not have ask for a better girls trip. The location was perfect to visit a couple of wineries and drive into Boone. We ate at Crave which is just down the road. The food was excellent I highly recommend visiting them

A great weekend getaway with a breathtaking view of the sunset and mountains.

To celebrate my husband's birthday we booked this villa for the weekend. The villa was only an hour and a half from our home. We stopped first at a great winery and then proceeded to check in following the great instructions provided in a detailed email by our host. The villa is spacious with a large living room that opens up to a small deck which also can be accessed from the master bedroom. The master bathroom had two separate vanities which were a great feature. A second bedroom which we did not use also has a private entrance to a second full bathroom. A full-functioning kitchen with new appliances was appreciated. The king-size bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting out on the deck drinking a glass of wine taking in the spectacular views of the mountains watching the sunset. The villa is located only a very short driving distance from two additional wineries and Stone Mountain State Park. On the property of OldBeau Golf resort are a dining room and a grill which my husband was able to stop in and pick up some cocktail sauce and sugar. The villa was very quiet. We hiked the next morning on one of the trails --the map was supplied by our guest. I would definitely return!

Wonderful weekend trip

Wonderful stay. Awesome sunset view from balcony. Check in and out super easy. Great downstairs neighbors. Property had everything we needed. We would stay there again. Check out JB pizza in sparta while you are there. Great food. We were there for a dance competition in Elkin and location was super convenient.

Old Beau Golf Resort in Roaring Gap North Carolina

What a wonderful place to stay. Scenery is gorgeous, you're on the 18th hole. Absolutely breathtaking. The amenities were great condo was large clean. Food at the clubhouse was off the chain. We would highly recommend it and will definitely be going back. Price was good also.
