The cozy, two-level cottage, located just above the community fire pit with filtered lake and mountain views, boasts an open-concept living area on the upper floor with two private bedrooms on the lower level. The living area evokes the feel of a mid-century mountain lodge, with parquet floors, wood-paneled walls and rich earth tones. After a day outside, sit on the couch to enjoy the large-screen TV, complete with streaming capabilities.
Downstairs, two well-proportioned bedrooms offer king-sized beds, one of which can be converted to two extra-long twin beds upon request; with a crib or floor futon available for small children. Styled in a mod flair with patterned wallpaper and lime green accents, both bedrooms feature plush bedding, twin nightstands, a picture window and wall-mounted TV. Black-out and sheer window coverings throughout allow for maximum privacy and a peaceful night’s sleep.
Guests share a newly remodeled bathroom downstairs with a step-in shower and separate powder room on the main level. You’ll also have the convenience of a private washer and dryer, complete with complimentary laundry pods.
Robin Cottage is part of Cedar Crest Cottages, a historic vacation retreat nestled on forested grounds with filtered lake and mountain views.
As a guest, you’ll enjoy access to the community BBQ grill and oversized fire pit with access to the beach just across the street. In the summer, enjoy swimming, sailing and boating on the lake, or hike through the surrounding mountains. In the winter, drive less than two minutes to the family-friendly Homewood Mountain Resort, or just 25 minutes to the varied terrain of Olympic Valley.
Whether you visit Lake Tahoe for a weekend or a season, Robin Cottage offers a chic place to call home while exploring the great outdoors.
Please be advised that the firepit is seasonal and is not operational during the winter months due to the heavy snowfall.
