Kapparis is open all year round and consists of fantastic restaurants and bars namely Faliros Greek cuisine, Karas Fish Restaurant, PINCH Mediterranean -5star NEW 2025, Magazaki Grill House, Just Italian classic, Sashiko Asian Fusion, Matu concept coffee brunch, Pig & Whistle Bar & restaurant, Mambos Bar & restaurant, Kalifi Beach Bar & live music, Kohili Beach Bar – these are all within walking distance.
Also recommend a visit to Old Simos Restaurant, a traditional Greek Cypriot restaurant, very inexpensive, meze choice is the best, a mixture of anything you like – short 15-min drive to Sotira town!
The nearest beaches all within walking distance are Firemans Beach which has Kohili Beach Bar for meals and snacks, Kalifi Beach with Beach Bar, and live music during evenings – superb to see the sunset! and further along kapparis is Ayia Trida Beach.
Further along the coastline approx. 3 miles there is the famous Fig Tree Bay Beach and further along approx. another 2 miles there is the exquisite Konnos Bay Beach with Grecian Park 5-star hotel on the cliff top!

Very gold location. Good service. General state of the house could be improved

Very good location for the house. Nice and big sweeming pool idéal for the children. Wayne has been very helpfull and ready to help. Good size living room. The house is a bit aging. The air conditioning systÚm in one of the room did not work properly. The kitchen is old and not very clean.

very different from the pictures show .

From where to start,the air con in one of the bedrooms wasn't working ,when i asked to be fixed the couldn't found the part they say,the BBQ in a very bad shape u could use,broken and very dirty the dishes ,fried pan , casseroles, the cleanness of the house terrible no rubbish dustbin,no toilet rolls no hand soap at the toilets no washing mop for the floor,the water at the shower was very very little we wanted 1 hour to have shower no cold water at the washbasin and when i asked for clean sheets and towels they brought only two towels and i set of sheets for 3 people all this.After i saw all this i call the owner to tell him that i want to move out and refund my money he said its out of the question and the only he can do is to apologize .

Perfect villa for our holiday.

Lovely little villa in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Great swimming pool just 2 minutes around the corner. Plenty of good restaurants within 200 metres, plus excellent beaches a 10 minute walk away. The property was an ideal base for the three of us to explore the region. Everything we needed was there and Wayne (who manages the property for the owner) was incredibly helpful. Very good value villa, can highly recommend.

It was good for what we needed.

For us, we just needed a little holiday home close to the beach and close enough to our wedding venue. We had a few problems but they were quickly saw to by the owner and Wayne who was quick to reply to messages and came out a few times when needed. It's about 10 mins walk to the beach. We'd probably pick a less hot time to visit Cyprus, but it was a lovely holiday.

Wonderful vacation!

It was wonderful stay in Harry's villa in Kapparis! The house is very nice and cozy, with an excellent location in short walking distance to the sea. Great barbecue facilities and terrace. Harry was always available for questions or helping in any problems. The only thing we missed was dishwashing machine. We hope come back here next year!

Lovely villa

I stayed here in august 2015 with my wife and 4 kids. Villa was lovely and clean, plenty of space for the 6 six of us. Great location with a large selection of bars and eateries only a few minutes walk. Would certainly use this villa if we return to cyprus in the future :)

Ideal!

Lovely villa in a nice location in a quieter part of Cyprus but with plenty of good bars and restaurants. Villa has all we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kapparis is a nice location with plenty of good bars and restaurants and two nice beach's close to the villa. This is an ideal property in an good location hence we will be returning in August for another two weeks.

Our family hoilday 2013

We stayed at the Villa in Kapparies in August 2013. We found the property well a maintained and functional for the 2 week stay. When we arrived the open planned layout on the ground floor was more than adequate to have 6 adults staying. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were also has plenty of space to hang your cloths and store luggage. The villa has a communal swimming pool which we used often during our stay. The local people were very friendly and the pool café was open for breakfast to dinner time! The walk to the town is only 5 minutes, and there were plenty of options to eat and drink. The beach was only 15 minute walk, the sandy beaches and lovely clear blue sea is where we spent most of our holiday. We would book the villa again.

Great place, lovely people

On a nice quiet road, the villa is bigger than it looks from the photos and videos. Front and rear verandas are nice for sitting out in the evenings. The neighbours even water the plants! The pool is a 5 min (max) walk, but it's worth it, very clean, with a pool bar and bookcase full of well thumbed books. The pool complex is shared by residents and owners of certain villas and apartments (mostly ex-pats), and is gated. Don't be put off! Just get someone's attention, tell them you're staying in Harry's villa and you'll be made more than welcome. Kapparis is nice and relatively quiet, but has reasonably good bus links. Standout restaurants are Faliros, Just Italian and Karas, though there are plenty more. (Mello and Magazaki are the best of these.) LOTS of dishes come with chips! Kennedy Avenue has plenty of supermarkets and small shops if you run out of food, suncream or other essentials. There are 3 main beaches : Fireman's, Malama and Agia Triada. Malama is a small shallow cove, right at the bottom of a hotel/apartment complex. It's the busiest, but it does have water sports, including para-gliding, which is an amazing experience! Agia Triada is the largest, and also has water sports; we didn't spend much time there but it looks like a perfectly nice place to spend the day. Fireman's beach is pretty small, but really lovely and clean. Sunbeds cost 2.50 for the day (umbrellas the same) and the sea is beautiful, clear and not too deep, a great place for snorkeling. There are toilets and a canteen at the top of the hill (chips etc.), and the owner does love to belt out the odd power ballad so it's not completely silent! There was space every day day we went down there, with a mixture of families, groups, and a smattering of locals at the weekend. You can head back 10 mins to the roundabout to catch buses into Paralimni and Agia Napa. Paralimni is the main hub for buses to places like Nicosia (just under 2 hours) and Larnaka (45 mins). They're pretty reasonably priced from 1 to 7 euros depending on distance. There are also tours available from Kapparis to places like ancient Salamis (in the North, take your passport) which are well worth it, and negotiable on price. Short version; we'd go back in a heartbeat. There's plenty more to see. You can probably drive across in 2-3 hours and see much more, so this is my plan for next time!

October half term break 2011 - 4 adults sharing

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The villa is very comfortable, has all the amenties you need, front and rear patios very handy when chasing the sun! We found it very easy getting around without a car. The restaurants, supermarket, bakery, pool and pubs all just a short distance away. Firemans Beach is very peaceful, not too busy whilst we were there. We ate every night at Faliros Taverna which is only 5 minutes walk. The food was lovely and plenty of it, especially the meat and fish meze! The remainder of the pubs all do good English food, especially The Pig + Whistle. You can get a bus into Protarus for 1 euro each way, it's only 4K journey. I would definately recommed this villa for adults and young families. The villa has a secure gate with a bolt at the top, out of reach, so children can roam freely. The pick up from the airport is well rehersed by Wayne and Michelle. We phoned Wayne as we left the terminal and he was straight there within 2 minutes. 40 minute trip. We would definately return. Thanks Harry + George.

Nice house

The house is nice and comfortable (good airconditioning in sleeping rooms). The beaches nearby are small but clean, the sea is lovely. The village is small but sufficient good restaurants are available, as well as a bakery and super market. The shared pool is large, at about 300 meters from the house. We had a very good time.

Vacation October 2010

When arriving at Cyprus, Alan was very friendly and helpful to find the villa. Harry was also very friendly and responded to any enquiry promptly. The location of the villa is good. You have beaches close-by, restaurants as well as supermarkets. Nevertheless I would recommend to rent a car to be more flexible. Nonetheless I was disappointed when we arrived at the villa. The villa in general was not very clean, the main bedroom smelled extremely of smoke (therefore we decided to take the other room), here the beds squeaked with every movement - very disturbing when you are on vacation and you like to sleep through the night - not possible, there were many cobwebbies at the walls, the bathtub was not cleaned, light bulbs were missing and the dishes (plates, glasses, cooking pots etc.) were very dirty. I did not prepare any meal there. I'd like to conclude by saying that the villa could be a nice place but is not very well maintained. I would recommend this holiday home to people who do not expect any luxury villa and are satisfied with simple things.

Great holiday!

We spent a week here over Easter 2010, and had a great time. The villa was lovely, and had everything we needed, including a highchair and travel cot for our baby. The location of the villa is excellent; we loved that we could walk to the beautiful beach and to all the restaurants in Kapparis. We also hired a car though, and found it useful for a bit of sightseeing along the coast, which was well worth doing. We ate out at Karas Tavern, Faliros and Just Italian - I would recommend them all, but particularly Karas Tavern where we went several times and had some excellent food. The staff in all of the restaurants were very good with our kids. Harry was helpful and efficient throughout (as was Alan, who was very helpful when we locked ourselves out!). I'd definitely recommend this villa: a great place to stay in a fantastic location.

We loved it!!

My wife and I are in our early 50's enjoy nice quality holidays with decent people, relaxing during the day, socialise and have good meals and bars in the evening. Staying at Harry's we got the lot! The villa is as described, clean, good facilities well maintained. It is situated on a quite road of like homes mostly occupied by resident Brits who are very friendly and helpful but do not intrude. The location could not be better; 200yds from bars and restaurants, 100yds from a communal pool with a bar and 400 yds from an idyllic beech. The pool is lovely with good shaded areas, quality sun loungers, a DVD and paperback library that you can loan from. The bar serves good snacks and drinks and the people around are friendly and a great source of advice on which restaurants and bars are 'on form'. Fireman’s beech is beautiful as are the sandwiches from the Cypriot snack van down there. For those who enjoy walking the area is pretty flat if you stay around the coast. The walks along the coast are beautiful and provide a cooling breeze on warm days. There is a beautiful protected nature park, Cape Greco that is about a 15 minute drive. OK, at night you can forget the car if you like. Here are our recommendations: Falinos - great quality Euro/Cypriot food Just Italian - good pizzas and traditional Italian fair Kanas Taverna - first class Cypriot taverna Folio - looks very chique - food and service are absolutely 1st class. Pricey but very reasonable for the standard Mello Bar - lovely drinks bar, good cocktails Corner Pin - bit more rowdy as a bar but good if you like karaoke, pub quizzes, and regular live turns. Wooden Crest Inn - quieter than Corner Pin, good local bar with good quality pub grub type food. If you do decide to take the car - 5-10 minutes you are in Perenera - try Blue Spice. On the sea front super Euro/Cypriot food in a lovely upmarket setting for a reasonable price. Go another 5 minutes down the road to Protaras and your getting into a lot more commercialisation. If you like Japanese teppan yaki you'll find the restaurant in Eden Square has wonderful food, great service, in a very upmarket setting. Not cheap (probably £45 / head for a nice banquet a bottle of wine) but a lovely evening out and, what the hell - you're on holiday!!

Just returned from a fab two weeks at this lovely villa. Villa was just like home from home, everything you needed was there and the air conditioning at night was a godsend. Pool area was great ,kids loved it and the villa is only a short walk to lovely bars and restaurants. Harry was great to deal with and we are looking to return to his villa next year. Overall our best holiday in the best accomadation!!

A really lovely villa in a very convenient location near to shops, restaurants and an excellent bakery. Alan the caretaker couldn't be more helpful and the villa was spotlessly clean on arrival. Harry responded to any enquiry promptly and was really helpful and had lots of useful advice and information. Really friendly neighbours and an excellent swimming pool with snack bar which was very clean and welcoming. The downside for us was the air conditioning, there is no air conditioning downstairs and the main bedroom has air conditioning on a two hour timer. The weather was very hot whilst we were there and this meant we had to wake and reset the timer at least twice each night, not conducive to a good night's sleep! Lovely local beaches withing walking distance although you would be better with a car to take full advantage of the area. We visited Cape Greco, a nature reserve, and I would also recommend the trip on the Yellow Boat from the local harbour, free snorkelling. canoes and fish feeding!

Great place to stay.

If you are looking for a home away from home then Harry's villa is definitely the place to stay. The surrounding of the villas is picturesque in the set up of cobbled streets. The people staying around the villa are very welcoming and were willing to give us any advice when we were unsure where to go. We had the benefit of a hire a car, and this is definitely a plus as taxis are somewhat expensive, however if you wish to eat in Kapparis there are plenty of place to enjoy. Fireman's beach close by is only small and the larger beaches are in Protaras and Aya Napa these are all very nice, but a word of warning they all get very busy at the weekend as the Cypriots all head for the coast come Friday evening ( and who can blame them ). You will never be bored with the food and the things to do. The Water Park in Aya Napa is a must and although it may seem expensive at first it will keep you and any kids occupied for teh whole day, shops in Protaras sell discounted tickets for the park and will include transfers if needed. Harry has a really lovely villa and the cleanliness is exceptional. The swimming pool area is lovely and clean and the poolside bar serves really good sized portions of food at reasonable prices. I am sure that anyone that uses the villa will only find more good things to say about it, so all that is left to say is Thank You Harry for your hospitality and please pass our thanks onto all the neighbours. This is a fantastic villa, a must holiday. The Paparis area is fantastic. Harry's representatives Alan & Joy are a godsend, picking you up from the airport and getting you settled in and returning you back. The close proximity of the beaches makes for great walks. Pubs and restaurants are great with a wide choice of cuisines to choose for your evening’s entertainment. The wife, the kids, and I enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend Harry’s villa to anyone.

FANTASTIC VILLA! GREAT LOCATION!

The villa was superb, the location was great with only a 2-3 miniute walk to the nearest beach! enjoyed everything about the holiday with lovely restuarants and tavernas nearby. Communal pool was excellently run - enjoyed the bar especially!
