Ensoleillé et privé Coquina Cottage, Nokomis Beach 2 minutes de la plage du Golfe

Disponible pour l'été 2019 et l'hiver 2020! Notre chalet de plage récemment rénové et chic est à proximité de Casey Key Public Beach (3/4 d'un mile), à 9 minutes de Venice Beach. Notre endroit est bon pour les couples et les familles (avec des enfants plus âgés en raison de canal non sécurisé à l'arrière de la maison). Cette maison mignonne a une nouvelle cuisine joliment mise à jour, appareils en acier inoxydable, nouveau revêtement de sol stratifié, peinture fraîche. Maître et deuxième chambre sont dans le chalet principal, et ils partagent une salle de bain. Troisième chambre est mis en place comme une unité individuelle séparée, avec sa propre salle de bain complète privée, adjacente à la salle Florida (véranda moustiquaire).
Profitez d'une grande cour tropicale dans une impasse calme. Cour privée avec quai sur le canal à l'arrière de la propriété.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour 6 personnes. Chaises de plage, parasol et glacière inclus. Certains jouets de plage sont également disponibles. Table à manger pour quatre dans le chalet principal. Nice, fresque en plein air manger dans la salle de la Floride, où vous trouverez une table pour six, plus un coin salon confortable sous le porche filtré.
Nous avons un accès sans clé sans fil à la maison ainsi qu'un système de sécurité.
Profitez de l'Internet haut débit sans fil, d'une grande télévision de 50 pouces dans le salon et d'une autre dans la chambre principale.

Perfect getaway!

Cottage was in a perfect location and so cozy! Beds were very comfortable and neighborhood was nice and quiet at night. Easy walk to the beach and a couple great local restaurants and ice cream store! Loved relaxing in the backyard or screened in lanai in the morning with my coffee or playing cards with the kids after a long day at the beach! Everything we needed was at the property, including beach chairs and cooler, etc. Had a great time and would love to come again! Thank you for a great stay!

Attractive Cottage Attractively Priced

There is a great deal to like about this property. Let’s start with the location: a three-minute drive from beautiful and (when I was there in mid-April) under-populated Nokomis beach. Talk about bang for your buck! Also, you can be in the heart of Venice in 10 minutes, Sarasota in 30. The house itself has been freshly decorated inside and attractively landscaped outside. But the real jewel is the “Florida Room” or lanai: a large screened-in room with a dining table and a comfortable sitting area. My family and I spent our enchanting, candle-lit nights out there and remember them now most fondly. We were in Nokomis working on a project, so I don’t know if we’ll go there again. But if we do, I’d stay In Maria’s cottage (very near-) by the sea.

Wonderful stay

The cottage is clean and the living room is nice. We enjoyed the lanai with full of air and the breeze. The cottage is full of the accessories that we needed go the beaches. I‘m sure to come back again, the owner is so kind to give us all information that we needed. Thank you we had a wonderful stay.

Comfortable

We loved the house, location, sun and beach. Perfect location. Walked to Nokomis Beach and North Jetty every day. The house was clean and on a quiet, dead end street. We will return!

A bit too expensive and overrated,

Great location and nice and big backyard! Maria was helpful and available at all times when we had questions. Although not all of the services listed were available. The dock in canal was in emergency condition, so we could not launch kayaks off it, even though this service was included in the price. Detached bedroom was in a really bad condition and needs to be renovated. The AC in that room is very old and dusty and we couldn’t use the ceiling fan cause it barely stayed on the ceiling, so there were no air circulation in that room. Two main bedrooms were fine. The kitchen is really small and some dishes needed to be washed over before use. The price is unreasonable, we stayed in a much cheaper but better places.

Ref your review: 1) Dock: we made it clear ahead of booking that the dock was unavailable and undergoing full rebuild. You signed a document acknowledging so. It was corded off and your group did not respect that. 2) AC in detached room works fine, no one has ever complained about it. You never made an attempt to contact me about it. I could have addressed it if there was an actual issue with it. It is not dusty. 3) kitchen size: this is a cottage. Cottages have small spaces. All rooms look exactly as shown in the pictures in the portal. I checked in with you multiple times, if a few dishes were not cleaned enough you could have mentioned it and we would have cleaning service re clean them for you. Price is based on all features available. Again with good communication any issues can be solved. Very poor communication from your side, i am always available for my guests and take pride in keeping the place spotless.

Very Nice Accomodations, Great Location

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at Coquina Cottage. The interior of the house was updated and nicely decorated; clean, bright and comfortable. We enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon happy hour in the Florida room. The gas bbq grill was nice and we were glad we could grill at night under a lighted shelter. The back yard is a nice quiet place to relax too. We were very happy with the location, in a quiet neighborhood with convenient access to the beach (5 min drive or 15 min walk). You can walk to Pop’s or Pelican Bay, both great waterfront bar/restaurants (5 min drive or 15 min walk). Venice is a short 10 minute drive, where my wife loved the shopping and we ate at a fantastic french bakery. And don’t forget Nokomis Sunset Hut for happy hour! Great low impact hiking is available at Oscar Scherer Park a short drive away. Maria was a great host and attentive to our questions. Would stay here again.

Loved the house!

Maria couldn't be a better host. Always responded when we had a question. Beds were comfortable. The covered Florida room is a great place to hang out as is the nice landscaped backyard with plenty of shade. Only a 2 minute drive to beach! Will definitely stay here again.

Hidden Venice Oasis

Venice is a 2nd home to us. We visit several times a year and have stayed in 20 or more places there. This is by far the nicest one we have stayed in. It is in a very quite and friendly neighborhood. When I think of a Florida home this is exactly what I envision. The lanai is AMAZING! It was our favorite place to be. It was rainy and pretty chilly by Florida standards but the lanai saved the day. We were dry and warm because they had several throws for us to use. Super cute ones too I must add! The back yard was really cute too. There is a bait shop 3 mins away making the dock another great way to spend some time. We were visited several mornings by blue herons and night herons. The beach and North Jetty are a 5 min drive away. If you decide to venture towards the bait shop for sure go to the ice cream shop that's either next door or the next building over. Totally worth it! Pelican Alley is a great place to hang out and have a bite and some great cocktails. The house was impeccably clean and well maintained. The owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with as well. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

Updated cottage near the beach

Looked newly updated & clean, very nice home with beachy decor. The size was great for us, 3 adults. Marie was very helpful & accommodating. Great backyard area with canal and the covered screened in porch. Neighborhood was quite, safe & only 10 minute walk to Nokomis Beach & Casey Key. Easy access to Tamiami Trail/Hwy 41.

Wonderful beach cottage with fabulous outdoor and linnai space for gatherings.

My family had a wonderful time at the cottage over the holidays. Maria was easy to reach and helped trouble shoot any problems quickly. Use of beach chairs and towels was a plus and the beds in the cottage are super comfy. The casita was a nice touch as well having an extra bath and shower area, and the sofa bed is a sectional, so best for 1 adult or children as is noted. Would highly recommend this place as the location was excellent.

Perfect place for a family to have fun and relax!

We had a wonderful stay at Coquina Cottage! Owners were very nice, accommodating and tending to our requests and needs. Simply excellent communication. The property is lovely. The house looks exactly as it does in the pictures! This is very cozy, updated and well equipped house with plenty of towels (including beach towels), well stalked kitchen if you like to cook and prepare meals. This cottage also includes washer and dryer that comes super handy with traveling with children! We loved beautiful beach theme decor and comfortable space to relax. Florida room is great to watch sunrise as well as spend time together! Great location for getting to the beach (few minutes) and other beautiful surrounding areas. The neighborhood is very quiet! Staying at the Coquina Cottage made our family vacation very relaxing, fun and comfortable. We definitely recommending this place as we will be returning here for our next trip to Florida! Many thanks to a wonderful owners! :)
