fabulous location

We loved our stay here. it was perfect for four adults. all the bedrooms were roomy and had lots of storage. the location was great - we were near so many fun activities, grocery stores and fun shops. Would definitely stay here again

Very comfortable and loved the layout of the house. Nice to have an ensuite bathroom. Very clean, plenty of towels and washer/dryer a real plus. Only negative is that the area around the doorknob wasn't very clean.

Lovely home!

Cute little home for a relaxing getaway

Everything we needed

The house was easy to access. Communications from the host were very helpful. The house was clean and stocked with all amenities including welcome packets of toiletries.We appreciated the very modern and well-equipped kitchen because we cooked some of our meals. We recommend the home to anyone looking for a house to rent in this area.

We, along with other family members, were in town to clean out my brother's condo who passed away last fall, so not a vacation trip. The house was comfortable, conveniently located and provided us space to review documents while still being able to relax in the evenings. Would recommend to others.

Location is key

The location of this property is perfect for a couple, family or small group to enjoy all that Sarasota and Siesta have to offer!! We enjoyed evening walks in the quiet Granada neighborhood, sunsets at the bridge just up Siesta Dr, and quick trips into the city and Keys avoiding traffic on major roads. Just behind the property is the best bakery in town (Bread Bandits), Oasis Cafe, and Shakespeare’s Pub!! The home is equipped with everything you need, including a gas grill and cooler for outside gatherings in the cute enclosed side patio. We stayed for a month in the off season, when traffic noise on Siesta Dr was at a minimum. I would imagine it can get quite loud in season. Something to consider if you’re looking for peace and quiet😉

Comfortable stay and awesome location

This house is not big but the bedrooms are all roomy, and it would be hard to beat the location! So much is within walking distance. There's a small shopping plaza right behind the house with a breakfast restaurant, a bakery, and an English style pub. Just a little further is a Publix and two bicycle shops. Walts Fish Market is also well within walking distance, as are the two parks at Siesta North Bridge.Now, you might be concerned about the traffic on Siesta Dr. which builds up later in the day and on weekends, but if you head out the other direction there is a back street which you can use to get all the way to the bridge and also south all the way behind Walts and to other destinations on US-41. We never had an issue getting out onto Osprey or Siesta Dr. while we were here even when the traffic was backing up at the light - just use those back streets.The only real downside is there is no garage and no pool, but if you're okay with that then it would be hard to beat this location.

Ants, broken appliances, flies, and rats!!!

Low quality and very overpriced. Extremely uncomfortable - nothing to lounge on. We needed a place to stay while our home was being remodeled. Location was good - but on the corner of a busy street so lots of traffic noise. That wouldn't be horrible, but we started our stay with tons of ants everywhere... kitchen counters, floors, etc. Terrible. This persisted during our entire stay. Then we realized that there isn't a single comfortable chair, sofa, or bed in the house. Literally the cheapest of the cheap. Horrible! The mattresses are the worst and THEN they have plastic covers on them which is the most sweaty and uncomfortable thing to sleep on. Like it's for 3 year olds to sleep on. The dishwasher was missing the whole top rack - they did get a new one after a week or 10 days. The refrigerator leaks and they wouldn't fix it. Annoying to clean up everyday. We are pretty sure that there is a cracked sewage pipe in the one bathroom which leaves a sour smell lingering in the bathroom - they had a plumber come to look but he actually didn't even check the pipes. BUT then.... there was this other smell that was so disgusting you can't even imagine. After sealing off the bathroom for more than a week and many complaints to the owners, they finally came to investigate. Spent an entire day at the house - inconveniencing us - but finally discovered a DEAD RAT in the wall. So we lost the use of the bathroom for 10 days and guess what? They gave us basically a one night credit for our inconvenience. UNBELIEVABLE!!! It was very disappointing - I could go on and on.... they should be paying you to stay there.

Hello Tracee, we are very sorry you were not satisfied with the property. We are very disappointed to receive such a scathing review as we were very attentive to address your concerns quickly. Sugar ants are common here and are attracted to food left out. We brought you ant traps and had pest control service treat the home. Pest control did not find any infestation and no additional rodents were found. The house was professionally sealed against any rodents and is under contract to remain that way. We are surprised to hear that none of the furniture was comfortable as they were fairly new and others have left reviews about how comfortable the beds were. Also, this is the first we are hearing of this from you. Why did you extend your stay towards the end of your trip if you were uncomfortable? We require that all mattresses have a quiet waterproof mattress protector to protect them from accidents. We also add thick quilted mattress pads for comfort and to provide even more protection. The dishwasher rack was missing from a previous guest and due to supply issues, the part was on backorder. We are just a little surprised to receive such a bad rating, especially since you extended your stay just before you were due to leave. We stand behind this home and no one has made such complaints before.
