Ocean block just 5 houses to direct beach access. That's our block and you don't have to walk 1 block south nor 1 block north to gain access. 180 nights minimum. 240 maximum 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths with hot and cold outside shower.
Beach badges are included. Our home has never been rented before so this is a unique opportunity. Saturday to Saturday summer with a table with a small deck to grill bbq! The second toilet and vanity upstairs is a nice convenience in addition to the full bathroom downstairs as well as the outside shower. Rear yard amenities include nice table and chairs with an umbrella with plenty of room to relax after a great day on the beach. The location of the property did not disappoint. Few houses from the beach and boardwalk. One block from the bay. A few miles to island state park (great bike rides!) and a quick walk to the boardwalk attractions in seaside.
The property was perfect. 4 spacious bedrooms. Loved the all-season room. Great outdoor living space. Kitchen was well equipped.
The property owner was fantastic! Super responsive on the front end when making the reservation. His tips and welcome letter were spot on. He stopped by to address a minor issue that he readily fixed. The downstairs renters were lovely too. You can tell this property is well cared for by both the inside and the people who he rents too. Really great house.
Wait... should I have given it a 1 Star in hopes of having no competition when I rent again next year???
Rich's property is located just a few minutes away from the beach. He provided detailed notes on restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well as directions to grocery stores ahead of my arrival which was very handy. A few minutes to the beach and a few minutes to the bayside (which is perfect for a stroll in the evening for sunset). We rented bikes which gets you pretty much everywhere and didnt have to drive during the stay at all.
Property itself was extremely clean, as described, and all rooms were nicely presented as per the photos. The sunroom was very nice, as was the spacious backyard with a table with a small deck to grill bbq! The second toilet upstairs (no shower) was a nice convenience in addition to the full bathroom downstairs.
Rich was extremely responsive, he never missed a response and came back in less than 5min. He was also very helpful and accommodating - on the day of our check out he let us use the beach passes until 2pm when the next guests were arriving.
The only thing I could think of is that I had not realized that the house was shared (ground floor is a standalone unit, and I stayed at the upper two floors). The two units had separate entrances and there was certainly plenty of space so nothing to complain there, but I did not recall seeing that specified on the ad (possible that I missed this). But i dont think this distracted from us having a nice stay at all.
All in all, a lovely stay, a lovely house, beautiful beach and a great host!
