Perfect Lake Michigan stay right on the lake! Beautiful sunset views! Easy walk to and from the beach. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Kitchen well stocked to make meals and comfortable beds. Enjoyed making s'mores over the fire pit and relaxing on the deck. Wish we had booked a few more nights.

Great Lake Location

Excellent home, well appointed! Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, good linens. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals for large family. Furniture is in good condition. Directly on the beach with private walkway to Lake Michigan. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to town. Owner was very quick to respond to questions and generous with extended checkout time! Thank you Rex!! A must stay if you want proximity to south shore train out of Chicago!

Lake MI stay full of fun and dragonflies!

This view of Lake MI is spectacular from our primary suite and living room and deck. We were able to take a 3 and 4 year old to the beach and swim, and return anytime to the home when they needed a break. We grilled out and didn’t go to restaurants. Sitting on the deck, one evening at sunset, we got a spectacular show of hundreds of dragonflies showing off their graceful flight patterns all around us. It lasted for 20 minutes and was great magical fun for the family. The water was refreshing for swimming and safe shores for little ones to play. if you are looking for a family beach vacation close to home without the hassles of flight and dangers of the ocean this is the place to be!

Great Location

Steps from a nice beach. Check in was easy, owners polite and attentive, plenty of room for everyone. Be aware that with three levels, there were a lot of stairs, and temperature control was tricky. However, I would stay again, and would recommend the property.

Great beach house

The place was comfortable and well maintained. The deck and patio area are lovely with easy access to the beach. The beach is fabulous! We'd definitely come back!

Lake Michigan views

Our stay at the townhome on Miller Beach was wonderful! The house was well supplied, very clean, and very comfortable. But the best part was the beautiful views of Lake Michigan. We enjoyed morning walks on the beach and evening happy hours watching the sunsets. The owners were very accommodating to our requests. There were only 4 of us, so we had lots of room to relax inside and out. Great place to vacation!

Relax on Lake Michigan

Excellent location for relaxing and enjoying the Lake Michgan shore. Beautiful views. Well furnished accomodations for adults and families. Rex and Peggy are wonderful hosts.who have made sure that all of your needs will be taken care of.

Awesome place!

The condo worked great for our family! Loved the outdoor space, sandy area for 4 & 2 year old to play, while adults sat in Adirondack chairs enjoying the fire pit, sound of the waves, & beautiful sunset! Also loved being right on the lake & the many miles of beach for walking. Close proximity to the dunes national park also a plus!

Perfect winter respite

While we only managed a few walks on the beach, we watched the crazy weather on the lake and enjoyed the view with the comfort of the fire place! The owner’s clear communication and responsiveness was very helpful. I highly recommend this place!

My self and my family had a great time at this condo. Place was clean and the everyone loved the beach. Had a small plumbing problem which the owner took care of immediately. Excellent response from owner.

Relaxing Restful Retreat!!

This delightfully quiet beachfront home was perfect! Well-appointed kitchen! Super comfortable beds! Lovely view of the lake! The owners were so helpful with any questions we had. Very clean! Great fireplace that made for cozy evening talks in the living room! Definitely recommend this lovely home.

Great getaway!

The owners were amazing to work with! Property was in a great location from the beach. Just a short walk on your own private path to get to the beach. Also, conveniently located next to a great spot to get ice cream for the kids! The outdoor area was perfect, the kids could play in the sand and they had an outdoor fire pit that was used at night. We will definitely be back :)

Wonderful place on the beach by the dunes!

Loved the property- great location on the beach but not much else around. In the future I would bypass the restaurants (except for Goblin and the Grocer-awesome!) and just stay at the property the entire time. The appliances are outdated and there were only a few pans available (had to make eggs in a boiling pot) but the location and the outdoor amenities you can’t beat!

Wonderful, relaxing Lake Michigan/Indiana Dunes Stay

This was an awesome place to stay!! Right on the beach and so convenient to the National Park. It was incredibly relaxing, the view of the beach was amazing. It was great to be able to just walk out the back door and be on the beach. It was exactly as advertised, and the owners were so quick to respond and very accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Rex was great - even checked in with me during the stay to see if everything was OK! The house was perfect - clean and modern and neat, and had everything I needed for my stay. I absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely recommend it!

Great Beach Getaway!

This was a great place – clean, bright, comfortable, beautiful, and ideally situated to enjoy the beach and the national park! I found everything just as described. And the view!!!! It was so relaxing, such a great place to come back to after exploring the area and the Park. The host’s communication was prompt and clear, he responded quickly to my requests, was flexible and even checked in to see how things were going during my visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a few days. It was exactly what I hoping for!

Perfect family beach house vacation

We had THE BEST time at this beach house! We actually agreed it was our best family vacation ever. We stayed for almost a week with our kids. We had three amazing beach days (the location seriously could not be better, steps from the white sand beach), and we went to Chicago for 2 full days (it's less than an hour away). The property is clean and is really well laid out. The master bedroom is tucked upstairs with gorgeous views, the living area has great views too and a nice sense of flow with dining, kitchen, and sitting areas. Big TVs were great for watching sports and movies. My kids loved staying in the bunk room downstairs. All in all this property was perfect for us -- we are already making plans to come back next year!

Beautiful space close to the beach

Beautiful home right on the beach. Tastefully decorated, spacious, with all the amenities one needs in a rental property. The place is really beautiful, I want whoever decorated that house to do my home. Nice backyard space with a beautiful deck, fire pit, hammock, etc. The home itself is really everything you need from a beach getaway. Once we checked into the property the owner reached out to welcome us and was super responsive to any questions. That was really one of the best part of the experience, the owner was great. The beach is really close and there is a private walkway to get down to it. Mornings and late afternoons at the beach are great. If you are there young children I suggest going to the beach early in the morning. By 1pm the beach gets a little crowded and was kind of rowdy. Lots of neck tattoos and people smoking, but if I didn’t have my children with me I wouldn’t have minded as much. By late afternoon it quiet downs again. Overall, great experience. Beautiful home, close to the beach and very responsive owners.

Great stay on South Shore

We loved this condo. Great area compared to other beaches we went to. Lake access is literally steps out of the yard and over the dune to a clean well kept beach. Beds were comfortable, furnishings and extras like laundry detergent were exactly what we needed. Great stay for our family.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is great - just steps from the beach. We went to the beach every day and it was nice to be able to easily go back to the house to eat lunch, take a break, etc. We grilled out, used the hammock, had smores over the fire pit. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
