Cute & Comfy!

We booked this location because of its proximity to the venue where we attended a wedding. It was perfect for our weekend stay: quiet location with everything we needed nearby, comfortable beds and couches, and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

Awesome place on a beautiful lake!

Just a quick 2 day trip but it was wonderful. The place was very comfortable, with a nice living room, modern kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a fire pit, and a screen room. It was private and close to everything. . everything!

The property exceeded all my expectations, I love the setting on the lake and the access to the water. Even though we were there during spring break, the property was very quiet, private and super relaxing.

This cottage perfectly fits our needs when visiting the North Shore Wildlife drive. Easy to get to the various sections and very little traffic, at least on holiday weekends. This was our fourth stay.

We loved this place!

We spent a month at Bobbi's place this spring and could not have been happier! The grounds are immaculate, the dock is so peaceful and serene, and the cabin has everything you need for a fantastic stay. Bobbi's communication was great. p.s. Lightning, you are a bad-a$$ kitty--stay safe in paradise!

Team Effort!

We had a lacrosse tournament 12 minutes away so we rented most of the block together and had a barbecue and a convenient drive to the fields for the tournament. The house is clean and just as advertised it was a great time.

Christmas Cottage

Our visit was the week of Christmas to celebrate with our daughter and her family who live nearby.The cottage, property, location and kitty Lightning could not have been more perfect for us. The cottage was aesthetically pleasing but also super comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed to make it our home away from home for the week. The property is lush, landscaped and well maintained which adds to the beauty of the lake. It was a working holiday for my husband who telecommutes and he had no complaints about the internet connection. Overall, it was a peaceful 7 days and we will definitely book again.

Holiday Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing time with friends! The cottage is clean, well equipped, and decorated so cute. The outside patio and fire pit was a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning & smores in the evening. Next time we will definitely take advantage of the grill and well stocked kitchen by making our own meals. Minutes from Mount Dora while enjoying being on a quite lake out of the hustle & bustle of the city. To my surprise the four of us sharing one bathroom worked out well. Our only suggestion is a mirror in the master bedroom. Lighting, the resident cat really, made our stay most enjoyable. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Quiet Getaway close to Beautiful Mount Dora

From the moment we turned down the private lane and saw the beautiful lake view in front of us, we knew we had made a Great Decision to book the Lake Cottage! Check-in was easy and we were welcomed to a wonderfully designed space full of thoughtful details. The cottage has a full kitchen with all the essentials that one could hope for (including a Kuerig). Each of the two bedrooms was beautifully decorated and the bed that was chose was incredibly comfortable. . . the best night's sleep we have had in awhile! The bathroom has been beautifully redone and provided plenty of storage, soaps/shampoo, and a generous sized quartz countertop. We spent each morning and evening out on the screened porch enjoying the peace and quiet and lake view. The Lake Cottage was an easy drive to Downtown Mount Dora, offering a wonderful selection of quaint shops and restaurants. We appreciated the close proximity as we found ourselves enjoying walking around the picturesque neighborhoods and then escaping back to the screened in porch and solitude. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and are planning our next trip to the Lake Cottage and Mount Dora. Thank you for sharing your Wonderful Vaca Rental with us... We can't wait to come back!

Perfect little getaway

Such a nice property and experience. I took my mom here for two nights to celebrate her birthday. The house was just as described and shown in the pictures. The Decour was nice, the sheets were so comfortable that I ended up buying myself a set. And there was a gorgeous view from the queen bedroom and from the patio and screen porch. We didn’t use the fire pit, but there was one available. I also never seen such nice kitchen ware in a rental unit. Bobbi made everything super easy, including check-in, house access, and check out. It was lovely just hanging out at the house, and on the dock. It was a 10 minute drive to downtown Mount Dora, where we went for meals and shopping. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Our Deposit was Wrongfully Kept

We were very happy everything was wonderful and what we wanted until our deposit was wrongfully withheld. A video was sent with the toilet being completely loose. There was no way we did this during our stay we definitely would have noticed. It is obvious the damage was caused through years of wear and tear based on the video provided. We will be disputing the charge with our credit card company.

Awoken by Terrible Sewage Smell

The stay was fine but on the final night we were awoken by a terrible smell of sewage. The houses windows and doors were all shut. It was horrific and present throughout the house. It persisted through the night and into the morning when we left. The smell was nauseating and made my my mother sick. As soon as we exited the house the smell was gone. I notified the owner and was met with a thanks for letting them know. No apologies or anything.

My husband is a touring musician, entertainer and pretty much travels for a living. Getting into Vacation rentals was a natural fit for both of us! We love to entertain and make our guests comfortable!

When this property became available in the Spring of 2019, we were immediately intrigued! We live in the area and have looked at homes on this lake for sometime. What an incredible opportunity to share this unique property and the joy of Lake Life with others! On over 2 acres, there is plenty of room to for multiple vacationers to get away.

Who wouldn’t want to stay on a beautiful spring fed private lake just a short drive from downtown Mt Dora!! Better yet, bring your friends and family! With a total of 4 different homes, we have the ability to sleep up to 18 guests! This is the perfect place for a family reunion, team retreat, or even a small wedding!
