Short family getaway

We needed a nice place to stay for a few days near Sight and Sound theater. The place was very clean and spacious. My children loved the big room upstairs with there private bathroom. We had a great time and would love to come back some day.

Kids weekend

I brought my nieces and nephews (7 kiddos) here for a long weekend away. House was great for all of us. Plenty of room to spread out. Living room was great for movie time. Kids loved the hot tub. Views were amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Family Getaway

Family gathered from near and far for the weekend to see a show and this location was a lovely hidden spot away from Lancaster busy-ness. Beautiful. Very clean. Loved the open floor plan and spacious rooms.

Great house!

We stayed here with some family for a local wedding at Lauxmont. The house was super clean and well equipped. The yard and hot tub was a great add. Location across the river was perfect and only 5 minutes from the venue. Would stay again!

Family Vacation

Family vacation of three generations. Plenty of room for nine. House was clean upon arrival and beds were comfortable. Beautiful back porch which we enjoyed to play family games. Hot tub a plus and outside fire pit with chairs for all. Good location for day trips to visit Gettysburg and Hersey. Wonderful memories made.

Very enjoyable

We truly enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and the perfect location. To get to Lancaster activities we had planned only a 25 min drive. 12 mins from turkey hill which we love the turkey hill experience. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Clean home inside and outside.

Very clean beautiful home inside and outside. Everything worked perfectly. Does have road noise when trying to sleep and front drive is very close highway which cars drive rather fast on. Must be careful with small children or dogs out front door. Back of home and side yard is much safer.

Thanksgiving retreat with kids & SO’s

Returned ‘home’ to York County with my 3 grown children & their significant others. Rented Schoolhouse up the street for daughter, SIL & granddaughter, from same owner. This cabin has a great open floor plan for family gathering,a fire pit, hot tub, etc….all amenities were provided, everyone had a lovely time!

Lake View Stay

We stayed as we were visiting the area and this seemed like it would work for our family. We stayed gone most of our stay and it was a place to sleep and do our laundry and relax after a day of being gone. We did not cook anything but used the coffee pot and fridge for some snacks. The hot tub was used one of the evenings but didn't get hot enough for us. This was one of the main reasons for this stay for us after days of driving and on our feet. Everything else was good. A few minor things we sent to the property manager that needed fixed but just normal items, nothing worth notating. The Manager was prompt on responses and accommodated a few hours early to drop our stuff off so we could head to a play without all our belongings staying in the car.

A nice way to just take some time off after a busy life. The hot tub in the back of the house is a definite plus!

Well kept home

This was probably one of the nicer VRBO homes we have stayed out. There were plenty of towels, the house was very clean and the furniture was comfy! Loved the fireplace, couch had plenty of room and was comfortable. Smelled like cedar when you walked in. There were bees outside the front door and bugs outside the house but it's close to woods and water and that is expected. Bring bug spray or repellent options for outside. We had rehearsal dinner and our sons wedding the 2 days we were there so wasn't at the house much. We wish we could have spent more time.

Perfect July 4th getaway!

Beautiful home! Had everything we needed and more! We have a boat on the lake so this house was perfect to keep us close to the lake and have a wonderful holiday all together! Very clean & well maintained! Great hot tub! We’ll be back!

Listing needs updated

Our biggest issue is about the advertised access to a dock. We searched and searched for a dock that resembled anything like the picture in the listing and came up short. We walked up and down the road/shore and couldn't see anything. We wanted to originally rent a pontoon boat and dock it at this prospective dock. We didn't want to call the owners and bother them as we had to call the owners when we first arrived as there was shrubs/debris they were burning off in the backyard that just made the entire outside area engulfed with smoke. They did come down and put out the fire, so the last thing I wanted to do is call them again. My advice would be for the listing to update the picture of the dock and clearly and accurately describe where it is, and possible put up a sign indicating that.

We stayed 2 nights for our sons wedding.

House was great. Very clean. Beds comfortable. Lots of bugs outside due to woods and on the water. You do have to be careful pulling out of the driveway due to hard to see both ways. Also tree at the top part of the driveway is hanging over the driveway and needs trimmed. I didnt want the branches to scratch my car. There was a bee nest in the arch outside the front door. We didn't have time to deal with it or reach out cause we had a wedding and were hardly at VRBO. We basically slept there.

Mach visit

Location was perfect and the outside deck and space was beautiful. We enjoyed the river view. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay.
