Lovely cottage in quiet but central location

Overall a great stay. We did find crockery not very clean and photos made the place more glamorous than the reality, but it didn’t detract from our enjoyment

Great and relaxing location

We stayed at this property for 4 nights with our 2 teenage kids and grandparents. Great base for visiting Ballarat or Daylesford. Plenty of places to eat if you don't want to cook yourself.

Peaceful Escape

Everything we needed for a family of 4 and our dog. Log fire, easy access to Daylesford, 10 minute walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse, lovely walks nearby, Separate rooms for the kids age 15 and 12, quiet street. A lovely spot.

Great pet friendly cottage

Great little cottage with plenty of outdoor space for our dog to explore in. Nice and spacious inside as well with some modern updates to the living and bathroom. Only recommendation I have to the owner would be to update the mattresses and curtains in the bedrooms. Beds were very hard. Thanks for a lovely stay though!

An enjoyable stay in pleasant surroundings

A little tired generally but tidy, tranquil and well-located, which suited our needs perfectly. 2 negatives - the beds weren't particularly comfortable and the double in the main bedroom should be a queen ... and the one shower is ridiculously small! Also, the garden and the gazebo need some attention.

Home away from home

This property was perfect for our quick family getaway. It had everything we needed and felt instantly calm as soon as we arrived. Thank you for maintaining a beautiful property.

Beautiful space

Lovely little cottage, clean bright and beautiful. Check in was clunky as had to resubmit all details already entered on Stayz before leaving on our trip (including ID and another credit card for bond) into Daylesford Country Retreats own check in process. Very difficult when already on the road with no phone or internet access!

Perfect getaway

We had a great few days staying in this lovely cottage. Perfectly located with a bushwalk at the end of the street that takes you to the Hepburn Spa. Nicely renovated living areas and bedrooms in very peaceful surroundings.

Escape to Hepburn Springs

My daughters and I spent 2 nights at the cottage. Directions provided were helpful and we had no problem checking in. The heater was on when we arrived, plus some ambient music! The fireplace provided added warmth plus atmosphere. The place was comfortable and clean and we would happily return in the future.
