You will have a small house all to yourself and your guests. It will be quiet and clean environment. The main bedroom is spacious and colored yellow adding a calm and cheerful feel to the room. The house is next to a creek where you can feel the ionizing natural air. The house is located 1 hour north of the Durham/Raleigh/Chapel Hill Research Triangle. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to scout for a new job or have work in Roxboro itself. It is located 2 miles from Piedmont Community College and 4 miles from Person count hospital and public library. It is also a good location from downtown roxboro.
My wife and I stayed here for the month of December. The house is small but cozy and has the amenities you need for a short stay. The internet is good and the neighborhood is tucked away from the main road so itâs quiet. You do need to wash your dishes by hand and there is no laundry in the house, but for the price and location, it canât be beat. The host is wonderful if you need anything and I would recommend staying here!
We stayed here for a month (for the second time actually) and worked from home for the first three weeks. It was a comfortable stay for us and we got to visit friends and family in the area. Host communicated well and we didnât have any major issues during our time here.
In the past you could stay one night now itâs three. The linings for the shower was for one night. Last time there was coffee and paper towels this time not the case. The price is right for a short stay and the neighbors were nice. I would stay there again.
It was a nice space with all of the basics met. I liked the kitchen, it was very bright. The couch and the bed were both very comfortable. The kitchen was older, with dishes that felt older, but it all worked just fine. I appreciated the nice curtains. The bathroom sink sucked but I just used the kitchen sink for all sink needs. The shower was nice. The back porch was lovely, and getting in and out of the front was easy and convenient.

Priorities
If price is the main priority this is the place for you!
Hot water, cold air, WIFI, flat screen TV with ROKU are all good! Place is about as clean as any place this old can really be. Sparse, Goodwill furnishings, but serviceable. Bed comfortable enough. One set of towels, bedding old but clean and no odor. Asked for a second set of sheets for sleeping on the sofa but didn't get it.
Bring anything important to you! No pods for Keurig, no paper towels, no Kleenex, 1/3 a roll of toilet paper. Not awful to buy it ourselves but disappointing when we came in late and tired. We left what we didn't use for the next person. For the price, not bad at all!
Bugs. That is my main issue with the property. I killed two small waterbugs near the sink and a dozen houseflies over the three days I staid there. This property is at the edge of Roxboro in what appears to have at one time been a mill company development because it is comprises of older small cookie cutter homes. The neighborhood is well lit and there was a Roxboro city police car parked in the driveway of the house next door so I felt safe. It was nice having a driveway to park in because the street is very narrow. For the price charged, this was a good value.
This cute little house is the way to go! I definitely prefer it over a hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe and secure there. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Roxboro. It is a great price and has all that you need to feel right at home.
Second stay in this house. Small but just right for a couple. Would enjoy a recliner/easy chair in living room. Quiet neighborhood with one of "Roxboro's finest" car parked next door :). Great value.
The place was not s clean as it was for my first stay. The A/C controller kept changing; I set it at 70, I get back and its 83. One night I woke up drenched in sweat because the thermos went up to 83 - 86. The bedroom is the only space that does not cool off as the rest of the house does. I recommend a ceiling fan be put in. The bathroom sink aerator sprays water all over the place so I had to use the kitchen sink. The shower head needs to be upgraded to a usable one, maybe spend $30.
This comfy, cozy little house was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and just the right size. We felt very comfortable and would love to stay again.
We stayed here while my husband worked a job nearby, you canât beat it for the price. More affordable than a hotel with the amenities of a home . Would stay again.
