Peaceful vacay

Loved how peaceful it is. Had every amenity we enjoy. U love there are plenty of hooks for bath towels, coats, hoodies etc. We really loved how it was decorated. Very cozy. Loved the cozy blankets. Wonderful property!

Comfortable and convenient

The condo is comfortable and has everything you would need in the kitchen. We had a fire going in the fireplace the whole time with free wood from the shed. Loved having Safeway so close by. We also went skiing at Winter Park unexpectedly because it was so close and the mountains were so beautiful.

OK, but not great

This was our first visit to the Winter Park area and we weren't sure where to stay so we took a chance on this. Overall it was a bit of a disappointment, but not a total tragedy. THE GOOD: -The owners were wonderful! They were receptive, prompt and let us linger until noon on our check out day while we waited for a snow storm to clear out. -Well located to access skiing and WP -Quiet and nice and warm with a wood fireplace and floor heating (with thermostat) in every room. THE BAD: - The condo is old (1980s?) with very few updates. Small bathrooms (although there are three) and no laundry in the condo. - The furnishings are not super comfortable. The couch is short backed with wooden arms and the recliners in the living room are remarkably unfriendly to the body. This is just my opinion...you may love it. - Upstairs beds are rock hard (queen and twin bunks) with...wait for it....chocolate brown sheets and bedding! My kiddos have slept on sofas, floors and air beds without complaint but after one night on these beds they moved downstairs stating that would rather share that not sleep. -The checkout checklist includes some rather interesting things like stripping the beds, and removing. I found that to be a little unusual...not exactly a relaxing way to end a vaca. THE UGLY - There are no knobs or pulls on any cabinets so after years of hands grabbing the surface the wood are really dirty. I wiped them where there were grab marks/food and was shocked at the filth that came off. -The "well appointed kitchen" wasn't. It is also carpeted which seemed kind of unsanitary. the cookware was in awful shape (chipped enamel, scratched up non-stick and lids that didn't;t seem to go the anything. There was also a lot of random clutter (junk drawers full of well, junk, random knickknacks and kitchen clutter everywhere. There were leftover condiments in the fridge and some very suspicious waffles in the freezer. The oven was dirty. If you are planning to do more that heat up corn dogs or make toast, this is probably not a good choice. - The tub/showers are not nice.There was LOTS of MOLD between the tiles and in the grout. The tubs had that tape on the bottom to prevent slips, but it just looks dingy and gross. -Carpet in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay in this comfy condo!

The condo was stocked with all the necessities from towels, extra blankets and pillows, to the kitchen with all the items needed to actually cook- even the salt and pepper! There were eight people staying and we all had a bed. The four boys were upstairs in the loft with bunk beds, a queen bed, and their own bathroom. Downstairs, each couple had their own room and their own bathroom. The owner was very attentive to our needs and worked quickly and diligently to resolve a cable tv box that went out. (Not a foreseeable issue). Check in and check out were extremely easy and the location was perfect! We had been given lots of information about the area before our stay from the owner. This came in handy when we needed to find a doctor! I would definitely stay here again!

Roomy & comfortable, family friendly, A+ location!

Roomy, well stocked condo with everything we needed for our family vacation! Beautiful mountain views from the balcony and pool! Awesome location, close to Rocky Mountain National Park, a variety of creeks and trails, and fun activities in Fraser and Winter Park. Very nice clubhouse with large heated pool and hot tubs, tennis courts, racquetball courts, workout room and laundry. Convenient and fun for the whole family! We will definitely return to this condo in the near future!

Wonderful Christmas Retreat!!!

Scheduled a little family Christmas getaway at the condo. Initially we had two problems (1) the cleaning fees were not included due to a website error and (2) did not receive the keys in the mail. Barb quickly fixed both problems! I would not normally mention something like this but my husband and I thought it was handled so well. Very important when you are booking a vacation and hoping all will go well. So impressed and will book with Barb again without hesitation! Now the important stuff...the condo was great! It is an older unit with improvements. The kitchen stocked with plenty of plates, cups and utensils. The other kitchen wares were similar to what is in other condos. The two bedrooms and the loft gave us plenty of room to spread out. The wood fireplace was a nice fun touch. Lots of bedding and towels. Conveniently located near downtown Fraser. Just about a 10 minute drive to the slopes. A perfect slow family getaway! We would highly recommend!!!!

Loved it! Great location and close to everything!

Easy to find - great location, close to activities, pool, restaurants, skiing, trails etc. Very comfortable accommodations (bed was great), well supplied with the necessities. Owner wants your visit to be the best! Scenery is beautiful - loved sitting on deck in early am taking in the breath-taking views and mountain air! Perfect for family reunion or quick get-a-way! Comfortable and spacious. Close to wildlife viewing too! Would love to visit again!

Wonderful vacation home--close to everything!

This condo was the perfect place for our family gathering--easily slept 7 adults with plenty of bathrooms and living space. The kitchen is nicely appointed with new appliances and even a dishwasher-- now thats a vacation! Better still is the close proximity to wonderful hiking and biking trails, excellent restaurants, and fun shopping. This is a beautiful home, but you will find so much to do that you won't spend much time inside except to sleep. In fact I wish I could have stayed longer--but I'll be back!

Perfect for our Friends Ski Trip!

This property was very much as advertised, and it worked great for our annual friends' ski trip! It was cozy, well-stocked with everything we needed, and we used our pass to the health club every day, sometimes more than once a day. We would stay again!

Would love to stay here again!

My husband and I have stayed at this condo twice in the past two years. LOVED IT. We've shared it with 4 other adults and a baby -- plenty of room/seating and comfortable beds. The cozy decor and stocked kitchen (all dishware, glassware, bakeware, cookware, etc.) made us feel at home! Spent a day on the Winter Park slopes and a day in the condo playing games, chatting by the fireplace, going to the HOT TUB, and playing ping pong in the community room.

My Moutain Escape

My husband & I have been to this condo several times. (With & without our kids & granddaughter). There is plenty to do for all age groups. No-one was ever bored & ready to go home! Each time we visit we find it more comfortable than the time before and so relaxing. So much to do, so little time to do it all. We will be back to the MOUNTAINS someday.

Excellent Stay Close to Everything!

Extremely cozy condo has everything we wanted: it's super clean, has an updated kitchen, flat-screen TV, comfortable beds, fireplace (you can't beat free firewood!). Love that the free shuttle to the WP ski resort stops right outside. Also close to the Fraser River Trail for biking/walking in the summer and other hiking & biking trails. Bonus: great views from the private deck. Great place to relax and unwind.

Memories of our best girls trip ever!

This condo is close to all kinds of fun activities and places to shop. It is as comfortable and clean as living in your own home. My friends and I have great memories of hanging out around the dining room table in the mornings and in front of the fireplace in the evenings. Days were spent hiking, biking, treating ourselves to the Hot Sulpher Springs, etc. It was a rejuvenating experience for all of us. I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends and relatives and hope to return myself someday.
