Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a great location with low density making the beach seem less crowded. Bender was a breeze to work with from check in to check out and I would recommend renting from them! The unit itself appears to have never been updated. Appliances and furniture were very old and the beds not comfortable. The AC can barely keep up and the dryer had to be run several cycles for one load. The kitchen had only ONE fork and THREE coffee mugs for a unit that is supposed to sleep up to 6 people. A little TLC would make it a great place. It is good for a beachside property that allows pets.

Although the condo interior was dated and lacked many items (Keurig coffee maker, blow dryer, iron, etc.), we enjoyed a fabulous beachfront view from the balcony and a short walk to the beach. The condo complex boasted a heated indoor and outdoor pool. Parking can be a challenge if you are handicapped. There were only two spaces. There are dozens of great restaurants a short drive away. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week-long vacation and plan on returning to Gulf Shores next year. Our host was exceptionally organized and made check-in and out quick and painless.

The beach view and location were both fabulous. The chairs on the patio were comfortable which allowed visitors to view the ocean leisurely. Definitely worth the trip. Proximity to the beach was also great. The beach was nice and well maintained. The unit was clean. The appliances should be replaced soon. They were not in the best shape. Getting the dogs up and down the elevator was no problem. The dog areas were well maintained and we appreciated that the doggie bags were not only provided but also easily accessed. It was a great trip, planned on the spur of the moment and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Gulf Shores has many great places to eat, shopping, activities, and the traffic is not crazy. Loved our trip. We will be back.

don't get what you pay for

the unit is sufficient for a one or two night stay. I stayed 3 and supplies like toilet paper was scarce. You also need to check the parking pass situation if there will be more than one vehicle. There's an extra charge for each parking pass. the furniture didn't look to be updated since the condo was built. No iron or blow dryer. The price was extremely high for what you get.

Vehicle passes are priced by the condominium association, not Bender Vacation Rentals; one is provided with the rental and another can be purchased if needed, as per the e contract you signed. An initial supply of paper products is provided, as per the e contract and all communication you received prior to your arrival. Cleanliness

Was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. With it being pet friendly I would think they would go above and beyond to have smell clean. When we open the door my wife’s first response was that it smells. Found dog toys under furniture. Having cloth covered furniture in a pet friendly place is not the best decision.

SO GLAD I did. The pictures did not do the place justice. The furniture in the pictures is not the same as in the condo. It has been updated, The beds were so comfortable. (Even in the guest room) The living room furniture was comfortable, the view was AMAZING. We would definitley stay in this unit again.

Could be cleaner and a more inviting feel.

Bender Realty is great. The view was great. The condo could have been cleaner as in the floor. We actually had to go buy a mop as the mop in the unit was a sponge mop and very old. Should have been replaced a long time ago. (So there is a new mop in the closet ). Because the mop was so old the floor had a slippery grease my film feel to it. Not sure what that was about but we fixed it with a good mop. Under the kitchen table was lots of sand like it had not even been swept. When we go on vacation for a week, we kind of like it to feel “like home”. This wasn’t it. The decor and furniture could definitely be updated . The bedroom definitely needs some curtains. Otherwise the time away was great.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the room and the view. Only problems we had was there was not enough towels. I did laundry everyday. The laundry machines are old and LOUD! I’d bring some beach towels. Also slippers! Bring slippers. Our feet were filthy from the floors. It would be nice to see some bike racks put up on property too. We had to use a parking spot and when we came out the next day a bunch other had added to where our bikesWhere. The room was very peaceful till the last day. Someone’s dog barked from the balcony all day. Oh and please add some hooks in the hallway for towels and beach stuff. We plan to come back yearly. Everything was great.

Thank you for your input! You should have had a total of eight bath towels and washcloths, and a hand towel in each bathroom. If that was not the case, we would have certainly had housekeeping bring more; as mentioned in our communication to you on arrival and the day following, we wish to always address any issues a guest may have immediately. Worst place ever

This has got to be the worst Condo we have ever stayed in. Condo was not clean, couches were wet when we got there - had to put the cushions on the balcony to dry. Mold by the AC vents. If we would have had guests with us I would have asked them to sleep in the spare room due to the mold. Screen on sliding glass door was busted, found a receipt on the floor from 6/24, you could see stains on the ceiling from water leaks, holes in walls has been repaired and not repainted, door stops all messed up. Master bathroom dropped constantly, molding on floor was all brown in the seams, one trash bag for the 4 nights we stayed there. Balcony rails and furniture could use a cleaning - float on balcony, we just left it where it was when we found it. I have pictures if you could like to see some of them.

Your living room furniture had indeed been cleaned the day before your arrival; the humidity obviously affected its drying in time before your check in. We apologize for the cleaning and maintenance issues you experienced and hope that our financial compensation helped in some way to alleviate the inconvenience you experienced. Please know that the failure to meet minimum housekeeping standards is unacceptable, and we apologize for the way it affected your ability to enjoy your vacation.
