Great place to stay. Plenty of things to keep the kids busy. The only bad thing was the boat slips. While there there were new slips of metal and concrete, the dilapidated wood slips were a safety hazard.
It was a very nice and quaint area right in the water. Quiet at night and easy to find. The mattresses on the beds could have been updated as they were obviously worn down on one side and would have made getting a good nightâs sleep easier.
We all enjoyed our stay it was in the perfect location. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. We enjoyed fishing during the evening and it was a beautiful spot. This was our first time visiting the area, but it will not be our last. We will return to enjoy more the area has to offer.
Room was out of date and smelled old and wasnât very clean. We had to do a complete wipe down and get cleaning products to make the rooms smell fresh. Property was dirty and run down. Needs lots of attention and upgrades. The lake was nice...but we needed up leaving early because of the conditions.
The location of the property on Lake LBJ was great. The Louisiana condo we stayed in was adequate, but some things like the landscaping need cleaning up from weeds & the banner flag for our condo was worn out & made the property look like it wasn't being kept up. Some of the kitchen items needed upgrading as some dishes were missing & lacking adequate kitchen cooking utensils. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for our intended outdoor activity (kayak/sailin) on the lake, but we brought games & movies & made the best of it. Nice vew of the lake!
We needed to get away after being isolated since March due to COVID and this was a relaxing location. Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The one downstairs is a bit antique so it moves a lot with sleepers who move around a lot. I would suggest replacing. I would also replace the couch as it's hard as a brick. It does have a nice dining room table and chairs for 6 that are very nice. Shower upstairs is for very small and skinny people. Entry to it is ridiculously small! Downstairs bathtub and shower were much better though. Ironing board and iron provided. Bathrooms had blow driers and travel soaps, shampoos, makeup wipes, etc. so that we nice. Fully functioning kitchen. Full fridge, stove, oven and a nice sink and counter area. The only complaint I have is the pots. The large one needs thrown out as well as the large skillet. Over used. Lots of dishes, glasses, bowls. Even have cookie sheets or oven use.
We enjoyed the pool. It was super refreshing. Hot tub does not work though, it's cold. Game room; I would not go there as it smells very musty. The mini golf area was nice though. The lake side is really nice. Floating dock that is perfect for star gazing at night or fishing. Two water trampolines as well. Lots of places to dock boats as well as a nice boat launch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it for a low budget get away.
Generally ok. Silverware and dishes dirty and with Covid alert a bad thing. It leads one to wonder about rest of condo. Sleeping accommodations really poor and not enough blankets. We went back to San Antonio to bring some of our own đ mattress not Confortable sad đ
My family stayed in condo # 8 "Louisiana " with it's simple, yet cute New Orleans decor. My 4 yr old and I took the upstairs queen bed and bathroom (stand up shower) and my inlaws took the downstairs queen bedroom. 2 full baths were great for the 4 of us! The property is owned by the resort so housekeeping was made available to us, though we declined. We did get trashbags fresh hand towels and wash cloths from office, though. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking pots/pans and utensils. We were playing it extra safe so we used our own bath towels, sheets, pillows etc. We also used paper plates and our own cups. The condo was very clean when we arrived. We did find an area missed on the rug with crumbs and candy that needed vacuuming but we found a vacuum in the downstairs closet and handled it. No biggie. The vents on ceiling can use some dusting... but so can my own at home. đ? There are 2 TVs which we didn't use because we loved relaxing both in and outside the condo. We didn't use the water trampoline because my kid wasn't interested. But we sat out on swing and watched stars come out. We swam in the pool that has the shallow end nicely separated. We went to the rec room and borrowed a book. They also have puzzles! We drove to Buchanan lake and dam and found a little spot to walk into the water. We went to Marble Falls for shopping ...during the week late afternoon and the shops were almost all empty. We helped the economy with wine shopping etc. No wine tasting but they serve it to go! We will definitely return. The staff was very sweet and friendly. We picked up Alfredo's mexican food the first night for dinner. We brought our own food /drinks also. HEB , Lazy Heron Coffee Shop are near by. Great getaway! We wore masks when needed but not much contact with others. Other guests did a lot of boating etc. We also wiped the surfaces with Clorox wipes and Lysol sprayed commonly touched areas when we arrived. It was clean, but we wanted to be extra safe!
We had a great time! I had two sisters and their families stay in their campers at Inkâs Lake and my cousin stayed in a house that was in between us and my sisters! We had great family time and were able to be outside in the water while social distancing from people we donât know! The only problem we had was the first night when people were outside yelling with loud music but we all got notes on our doors reminding us about the rules and we didnât hear a peep from them after that!
