Yellowstone Vacation 2024

Our family visited Cody, WY on the end of our Yellowstone Family Vacation. We wanted to visit the history of the city and attend the nightly rodeo. We were also able to visit a play at the historic theatre and some trout fishing. Looking forward to a return trip to Cody soon.

Fantastic!

This was by far the best rental property that my wife and I have used over the years. Very nice, clean and well taken care of, with a beautiful wrap around view of the snow cap mountains and rolling hills, with the very nice owners close by to help or answer any questions about the area. Out of site of Cody, but still within a less than 10 minute drive of town, which is one of the cleanest and nicest little towns I been too. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a very nice, quite, and peaceful place with scenic overload with the surrounding area.

Best place ever!

From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. The accommodations were everything we could have hoped for. We had everything we needed for our stay. The house was clean, modern, and comfortable. John, our host, was very nice and helpful. Everything was perfect. We are even talking about coming back next year. You can't go wrong staying here.

WHAT A GEM!

We loved this cabin! We had two adult couples staying here and had plenty of room for all of us. We did not want for anything, except to be able to stay longer!! We were pushed out of Cody early due to an incoming Wyoming snowstorm, but we plan on coming back when the weather is warmer to enjoy more of what Cody has to offer. This property sits up on a hill and affords some AWESOME scenery. We enjoyed that, and the wildlife we could see right outside our windows. The owners are on site and will make sure you have everything you need. (Their home is as beautiful to look at as is the scenery!) Just the ride up the driveway makes you feel pretty special to be able to stay here. Don't overlook this property, even if you think you want to stay in town. It's worth the few extra minutes of driving. We will be back! Thank you for the wonderful place to stay.

Even better than the Listing.

A special treat when the reality of a stay is better than what the VRBO listing promises. Having traveled out west to fish for nearly twenty years, we’ be got some experience with with small houses and cabins. Overall, this was one of our best experiences. John he host was gracious and helpful. The house was super clean, furniture and bedding were top notch. Sunrise and sunset on the porch was a treat!

Cute cabin!

Cute little cabin with a amazing view! The property owner was so nice and came out to greet us and wish us safe travels back when we left. Very clean and organized place. The beds and pillows were so comfortable it’s been a while since I’ve slept that great! Has all the necessities and located just outside town. Lots to do in Cody and will probably stay again next time we go!

Truly Outstanding

This was our first time in Wyoming and first time visiting Yellowstone. I could go on and on about how great the trip was overall, but I will stick to the property for this review. For anyone flying into Yellowstone Regional, as we did, it could not be a simpler drive to the property. Once you turn onto the drive, you have a beautiful trip up past the Owners home to the rental. We even were welcomed by two beautiful ring-neck pheasants! The property uses a keyless entry so it is nice and easy to come in and out without that fear of keeping the key on you. Inside the house is wonderful. Has everything you need and more! Though the majority of people who will be renting this property are likely focused on the park and exploring Cody, it is always nice to return home to two very nice sized TVs and a Roku to provide unlimited options of entertainment to wind down to. Just a heads up, the Roku is powered by the tv, so do not be alarmed when you see “Low Power” when you first turn the tv on. 60 seconds and you’ll be good to go! The front porch is a great spot to wake up and have some coffee at while looking at the majestic landscape around you. My girlfriend would be greatly upset if I did not mention how phenomenal the shower head in the master is
.. The owners are very responsive and very kind as well! Overall this is a truly phenomenal property, one which I would recommend to everyone, and one which we will be returning to!

Wow!

Cody, WY is possibly one of the most beautiful places in the US if you enjoy seeing gorgeous mountains in a western setting. The pictures provided by the host do not do this area justice. Having such a wonderful host and his well-kept property only added to our experience. Our host provided recommendations for outstanding dining as well as places to visit that are often not obvious. He was always able to answer our questions and offered sage advice that helped to ease any concerns we might have. While the hour drive to the East Entrance of Yellowstone might seem a bit far there were so much to see that the trip pasts quickly. (In my opinion there really were not too many other viable housing options that were as close to great restaurants, grocery stores and most importantly, gas stations that are virtually non-existent once you leave Cody towards Yellowstone.) The residence itself is well-maintained internally and externally. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the house finding it very comfortable, well-furnaced and spacious. The WIFI was perfect. The only thing that did not work was us--the way vacations should be! Each evening we saw many, many deer and pheasants as we drove up the drive--truly a nice reminder that we were staying in a truly beautiful place surrounded by nature. This is a great place to stay.

Very clean ! Comfy beds . Nice area very safe and a beautiful view. Only 10 mins to Walmart . Also tons of great food around ! We loved our stay so much and can’t wait to go back

A great stay!

This was a wonderful property managed/owned by a terrific person. There were some issues prior to my stay where I was informed that my reservation was cancelled! I worked with John directly as I had already been provided with a confirmed reservation email and all the check in information days before. He went out of his way to do all he could to salvage my stay and saved our trip. Many thanks for that John! My family really enjoyed the location of your property and all the information you shared with us. Cody is a tremendous place with lots of home-town charm. My only suggestion would be a pizza cutter and a bit larger pot for cooking pasta in the kitchen. It was a wonderful getaway for my family and everyone enjoyed your lovely property immensely. Many thanks!

Very Nice Place

We enjoyed our stay. We really liked the location - out of town a little ways for it to be quiet and peaceful, yet very close to town. The property was immaculately clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly. There were great views of the surrounding area. All in all, it was a great place to stay while spending time in the area.

Great Home

The house is great. Loved the quiet private location. So peaceful. It's tastefully furnished and comfortable. Be prepared to see deer and bunnies! It's just a short drive into Cody.

Nice area

Property was in good clean shape, outside we had Owls, Rabbits and Antalope. We were close to town for groceries and one hour from Yellowstone. We were one of the first here I believe and we didn't have regular cable of TV but it did have Roku on both TV's so we could watch national news and use our Disney and Netflix accounts to watch if it was rainy or we were just back for the night. It is close to the residents home but the yard was clean and quite and makes you feel better when you leave for the day knowing someone is there to watch the home. Thanks again for getting our family in, Family of 5, three teens and two adults.
