Great location to everything Cody and the surrounding areas.
The home was decorated lovely. Great kitchen and area to wash up our clothes. The backyard was great for our dog. There was a lot to do in and around Cody.
I stayed here with my husband, two kids and two dogs for three nights. It was perfect! The back yard was great for the dogs. The house was just the right size and had everything we needed. Location was great, we could easily walk to restaurants and the downtown area. The Bistro next door was also a treat and I highly recommend their coffee, bread and lunch.
Every thing was great. The owner is so nice and easy to work with. I would definitely stay there again, however, the carpet has some pet stains and looks quit old. Owner should consider replacing carpet with floors that can be mopped.
This was a clean and comfortable home that was near many tourist attractions we wanted to see. Shirley was helpful in giving us information on what we wanted to see. The home was fully stocked. We highly recommend. Thanks for a great week in Cody. Wyoming, a wonderful town.
Very nice house with large yard that our dog just loved. The house was very comfortable and made us feel right at home. The neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful. We had a couple of minor issues and contacted the property manager who took care of it right away. Overall our stay was very nice and hope to return again soon.
Nice house, but back yard no grass, mud. Nice picture white fence with gate in front, not their. Change your pictures. Kitchen write up says dish washer, not their. TV in front bedroom works but no remote and no connection to black box Box white fan on floor, broken. Window in front bedroom, not right. Wall socket in front bedroom not secured. Spark spent out. Ceiling fan in back bedroom a real problem, pull on chain stand by. Screen door on front and back screens cannot be opened. It is a nice house inside, but problems. We liked it, but I just bring forward things to fix. Bob
We loved the feel of this older home, it was comfortable and had character. Beds were great. Not fancy (no dishwasher or upscale redecorating, fewer outlets than a modern home) but absolutely perfect for our horse-clinic visit to Cody and a country feel and spacious yard that suited us well. Also an accommodating host. Recommended!
This was a very nice pet friendly place to stay. Easy access to Yellowstone. Nice fenced yard for our dogs. Was neat to see the deer walking down the alley early from the back deck...and the resident rabbit in tbe back yard. Walking distance to downtown Cody shops and restaurants.
We spent a lot of time in Yellowstone park and explore the area too! Breathe taking! And coming home to nice clean apartment is so important! I forgot to leave a review in the little book in apartment, but we really had a great time! Sufficient bedding also, we got cold at night and we were able to easily found extra blankets! Thank you again!
Comfortable, clean and great location
We had a lovely week in this cottage. Every thing you need is provided, and it's an easy
walk downtown. We enjoyed walking around the quiet neighborhood too
From booking, to check in and check out---
Easy!! The owner always provided ckear instructions and responded quickly to any communication. She was very compassionate with an issue we had before arriving, and we'll always remember that
The house was great. It was very clean and inviting. The living room was big and the couch and recliner were comfortable. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in for me. There is a good sized yard that my dog, Apollo, loved. He especially liked chasing the rabbits that would be in the yard in the morning and when we came back in the evening. Good location for trips to Yellowstone to either the East or Northeast entrance. The drive up to the park is really pretty. If you like kayaking the Shoshone River is in walking distance of the house (less than a mile). There is a walking trail by the river and took my dog on walks there. You will most likely see deer while you are walking. If you kayak, and want to experience some white water, this is a great spot for home base. I kayaked from Old Town put in, it is on the east side of Cody, and came down to the take out at the HWY 120 bridge take out. I walked back to the house with it. You can also put in at HWY 120. Lots of other places to kayak a short drive away. You can easily walk to downtown Cody where a lot of the shops and restaurants are. If you bring your dog besides the yard and the river Cody has a great dog park a very short drive away. Apollo and I really enjoyed your stay and when we come back to the area will try to book this place again.
We decided to try a house rental after discussing all the implications of COVID and dining out etc. We are soooo happy we did. The house was just right, it was in a nice neighborhood, easy to get to anything whether in town or out. We enjoyed waking up and making coffee and breakfast at our pace and liking. We had brought our corn hole game and while grilling we played, PURE RELAXATION! This has made us converts to VRBO for all future longer stays!
We have been visiting Cody for 30 years and consider it our second home. The home is in a great location just 4 blocks from Sheridan Ave and a few miles from the airport. The house was built in 1917, but was completely renovated in 2004 and additional renovations in 2020, 2023 & 2024.
We always enjoy going to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. There are wonderful new exhibits each summer and great special events during the year like the Pow Wow, the Buffalo Bill Art week and the Museum art auctions. Beck Lake Resevoir is a favorite walk every morning for us and our dog as well as the dog park. Another plus is that we always get to go through Yellowstone every summer on our visit.
