Great location!

We came to Cairns for 3 nights, was a great location with being close to the marina, shopping and Botanical gardens. Lots of space for the 7 of us, everyone having their own bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location

We loved how the inside open up to the outdoors, very central location. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, with the exception of plastic plates/bowls for kids, which we purchased. Location was great as it was pretty central to most of the activities we did.

Nicely finished QLD living

We loved the bifold doors onto the back yard patio bringing the qld sounds into the house, the pool was a hit for the kids and everything else was lovely including comfortable beds.

Relaxing and Peaceful

Lovely property. Spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Kitchen well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood with views of the Tablelands and close to the Botanic Gardens. Close to Cairns Esplanade and the Northern Beaches.

Nice stay

We had a lovely stay, was a big property and the 3.5 bathrooms was a nice bonus. Like other reviews have said the photos do not match the property (mainly the outside) in that it was a untidy with a yard clean up needed and the kids were disappointed they couldn’t use the treehouse as it was unkept and rundown.

The layout of the property was good, however it needs some maintenance.The air con in the ground floor bedroom is very old and loud, we needed ear plugs to sleep.The upstairs toilet when flushed sends a noisy vibration throughout the house.The power point near the sink in the kitchen is very loose.For the price, you would expect at least queen beds in all of the rooms rather than double beds.

Outstanding

The property was beautiful and the house amenities were well considered as it catered for all of our needs. Highlights for us - The beds were super comfortable and the outdoor area was a delight to relax in. We liked the fact that it was situated in a quiet neighbourhood and only took about 5 min to reach Cairns town centre and the terminals to catch the ferries, and not to far to get to the main hway to explore the coastline. It was easy to navigate back to. The hosts were lovely and provided great recommendations for activities. We had a great time and will be back.

Plenty of Room

We were a party of 4 adults and this accommodated all of us excellently. 3 were divers and used the pool to check their gear prior to a live aboard trip. I stayed behind as I don’t dive and felt very comfortable being alone. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is easy to navigate. The outdoor spaces are great. I left a pair of Bose noise canceling earphones and they mailed them to me the next day. The management company is very responsive. I would highly recommend this property. The only thing is the pool has been resurfaced and is not blue. That was a surprise. But great property!

A little misleading.

The images shown do not reflect what is in real. The pool is dark, great and dirty. It is not blue like the image. There’s cobwebs all over the place. Very outdated property. The cubby house for children is full of spiders and cobwebs. Unfortunately not worth the price. If it looked like the images, then happily would have paid. It very disappointing and misled. Also garage is not accessible and only told after the booking. Totally disappointing.

Decent home in decent area

Stayed with our 4 kids for a week. The pros: Good sized home which was comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was well appointed and house was very clean. Overall a decent place. The cons: This was marketed as a luxury home with beautifully landscape gardens and family bbq. It was anything but. The house is old and it's age shows. Upon entering the property I was instantly disappointed. The photos make it look better than it is. The outdoor area front and back need grooming and tlc. The pool was a good size but appears dingy compared to photos. The "family bbq" is basically a single burner camping grill. In summary I would stay again but not at this price point, marketed as a luxurious family home which it isnt. It's an average family sized home which is comfortable for 6 to 8 people.

We loved staying at hillview crescent, such a spacious and clean house. We felt right at home and the pool and outdoor area was amazing. Communication with the staff was great, very easy check in and they maintained constant contact throughout our stay. 5 stars

Great family stay at the foot of the Ranges

We had a great stay at the house with our two young children. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet with a bakery/great coffee within walking distance and shops/restaurants a short drive. The house it’s self is very comfortable, each bedroom has air conditioning which is great for young sleeping children. The tree house in the backyard was such a hit and the pool is huge. Our host responded to our needs really quickly and dropped a few things off to the house that we’re missing. Only criticism is there could have been a few more pillow options- they were all really puffy and we woke up with sore necks. Overall we’d happily stay here again!

Great location, unsurpassed experience with the property manager

Very good, well equipped property, but the part that made everything work is property manager. The company certainly is doing everything right. They have great information and advice on what to do in the property. They were easy to reach, brought items we asked for, and weee accompanying with the check out time. Overall great experience in a very nice property.

Lovely Entertaining Areas

Property had some lovely entertaining areas with nice free flowing feel between pool area and kitchen and TV room. Bedrooms and bathrooms were disappointing. Property is well appointed, although the BBQ is quite small.
