Luxury River Front Cabin on Glover River 15 Mins North of Hotchatown
This river front French Country 1400 sq. ft. luxury cabin sits on the bank of the free-flowing Glover River. It has 2 bedroom â 2 bath and sleeps six with a queen sleeper sofa, king and queen bed. The Big Easy is fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, washer and dryer, central heat and air. A native stone fireplace invites you to relax and snuggle. Also included is satellite TV, limited wi-fi, propane and charcoal dual grill with an outside fire pit. Best of all, take a dip in the hot tub on the large covered back porch that overlooks the Glover River.
The toaster is not working do you have to remplaces it , i dont fine the think for limes and the locations is so far frome the lake all the test is excellent
Direction are horrible no internet the whole time that we were there could not make contact with anyone from the office besides maintenance now still no Wi-Fi and no access to the river as I was told that we did we're not able to go tubing as planned that was the whole part of this vacation in own privacy
Pretty property and location. Instructions to get there was very complicated with unnecessary info which caused more confusion. Simple map would be better. Not close to any of the landmarks that are listed. It took almost two hours to get there from Broken Bow because of directions. Then we get there and the code doesn't work and there is no cell signal or wifi to get further instructions. Had to bother a neighbor to call property manager. Door was jammed and we eventually figured it out on our own. Wifi password was incorrect so didn't get to use it the whole time. King size bed was comfy but felt horrible for our elderly guest in other room. They had to take turns sleeping on sofa.
Started off rough, couldn't unlock door, couldn't connect to WiFi to make a call. Had to drive 30 miles to Hochatown to call and get someone to come open the cabin. Door is loose so when closed it puts pressure on the lock. So lift up as you enter code. The email gave wifi password but it showed an I where it should have been a 1. Was very peaceful and beautiful stay and would come again.
Renting was easy. Property was nice. Only bad part was we were not able to access the river! We wanted to fish. Acess only by climbing very steep banks.
Property could have been cleaner, kitchen better stocked and organized. Master bed was comfortable but guest bed was not so much. However the river was serene and relaxing. The property was cute even though the decor was not very cabiny, especially in the guest bedroom.
We stayed during Valentineâs Day. The extra decor was a very nice touch. It was -3 degrees one night with amour 7â of snow! It was very comfortable. Will definitely come again. Lots of birds and deer. The pond froze over so no fishing but it was beautiful! The game room was very fun! Thank you!
This is a BEAUTIFUL property. Very clean and cozy! We had an amazing time.
The only downside is the king size mattress has a big sinkhole in middle. My husband and i kept rolling into each other and had to dig our way out. Definitely needs to be replaced. Other than that everything was just perfect!!!
We selected this property for it's beautiful view. It is located on a river that feeds the lake and is quite stunning. The house itself was adequate in size but we were very disappointed in the cleanliness. The house is older, which was fine with us as long as it is clean. We noticed when we first entered the house that it had a very peculiar smell. Fortunately, we brought an air purifier which really helped. There was a lot of dust in many places in the house: the bedframe, windows, fake plants, etc. It did not look like it had been dusted in a long time. The sheets had dog fur in it. I am not sure if it wasn't cleaned or if the washer/dryer just didn't get it all out. The comforter had some kind of huge stain on it which was disgusting. It just seems like it is time for new bedding. It has most basic kitchen utensils, pots/pans, etc. but it would have been nice to have a casserole dish. Overall our stay was good as the view is very important to us but the house just needed a deep cleaning.
My family and I had a great time at the Monte Carlo. It was everything we expected based on the description and reviews. The cabin was clean and well stocked with cooking pans/utensils and gas for the grill. The view and sound of the river was very nice, especially from the hot tub. The trek down to the rivers edge was steep but our 5 year old did it with little assistance but close supervision. 25min drive to Hochatown/State Park which scenic and nice. Would definitely book it again.
The cabin was on a creek but to get to the creek it was a 30 plus foot steep climb. The view from the cabin down to the river was blocked by over grown trees. The cabin not well cleaned and the mattress were as old and worn out as the cabin and squeaked with every little movement. The mattress were sunk in the middle. The reservation was set for 5 and they cabin has a sofa couch with no linens or extra blankets and plastic on the pull out so the sound traveled all night as the kid slept. The hot tub was very weak jets

Labor Day weekend
Pros:
-Beautiful property and view
-Enjoyed sitting on the back patio with a mimosa and book, listening to the river
-Clean
-Plenty is towels
-Comfy beds and accommodations
-Lots of nice extras: liquid hand soap in bathrooms, trash bags, dish soap, extra toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs
-Homey
Cons:
-Property owner didnât provide directions to the house or check-in instructions until we contacted them on the way to Oklahoma
-House is over 30 minutes from Hochatown
-Trash could not be secured; had to clean up after raccoons every night
-Master bath only has a tub (not even a shower attachment); four people had to share a cruiseship bathroom sized shower; inconvenient and not relaxing
-Hot tub stopped working
-Most of the patio furniture needs to be replaced
-Way over priced
Traveled with myself and my 2 children ages 14 and 12. My parents and nephews visited (ages 13 and 8). The cabin was great and I loved the back porch and the amazing view.
The only slightly negative comment I can make the river access. There is a steep and rocky "path" to get down to the river. My parents could not make it down and it would be a challenge for younger children. This is certainly no fault for the owners but I wanted people to be aware.
We loved our stay and took advantage of the hottub and the firepit. The hottub needed to have an emergency shut off switch on the deck instead of under the hot tub for safety sake. We loved how beautiful the cabin was and the soaker tub. I also wish they had extra linens since there was no pillowcase to put on the pillow that my daughter used. I would stay here again.
