When arriving and opening the room door there was a urine smell. Understand that I had arrived around 2 a.m. in the morning and was exhausted, so having no other choice but to sleep in car I went to the bathroom to wash up. The toilet was stained with a black ring around it, the shower had hair in the drain and was also dirty. I decided to just wash my face and brush my teeth only to discover that the sink was clogged. I then went into the room, removed the sheets and laid on mattress. I was awoken 4 hours later by the sound of a dog who was constantly barking. The dog was right outside the room door. I then very politely sent a message to host Debbie who up until this point had communicated with me attentively but she went ghost. I waited for 2-3 hours and with out any response I decided to book somewhere else. I then received a bill for all the rest of the stay. I called and disputed charges and was told that I would have my money returned for the rest of the trip but I had to pay for one night stay. I agreed but was not happy as I should have gotten a full refund for the inconvenience. I had plenty of evidence to show all that I was describing. Very disappointing !I feel it was falsely advertised and for that I should have been fully refunded.
