This place was amazing! Beautiful views too. It worked perfect for our family reunion. Plenty of space for all of us and plenty of things to do for everyone. The place was clean and well stocked with what we needed for our stay. Emma was great. She was quick to respond and help with any questions we had. We loved our stay.

This cabin is a little out of the way from Fairview in the foothills. However, the location is lovely and the cabin is spacious. We had about 20 extended family member with us, and there was plenty of room for everyone. My family particularly enjoyed having the ping pong table, movie theater room, and pool table all on the same floor as it was easier for them to hang out together.The host, Emma, was very responsive to questions.If you are looking for a place to host a large family gathering, this is a great option.

Our very large family went to Welton Woods for a family reunion. We had about 40 people come in from different states. The homes was spotless and every need was thought through…down to the shampoo which smells amazing! We love the evening sunsets, the hot tub, the many games (pool table, ping pong, board and card games), and spaces to explore. We lived for the large, equipped kitchen. We made all of our meals and served them at the gigantic indoor table. We also used the several tables and chairs on the wrap around deck regularly. We had little ones doing gymnastics on the carpet, conversations on every couch and songs being sang and played from the grand piano. Life was complete and we feel blessed for the opportunity to be together.

We love love love love love this house! The house and property are amazing. Emma and the owners are wonderful hosts, and Emma is responsive and quick to provide help and support. I highly recommend this house.

Highly HIGHLY recommend this property! We stayed here to celebrate a 50th anniversary with our extended family and we are already talking about coming back. We had plans to do some day excursions a few hours away and ended up cancelling those because there was so much to do at the house and the surrounding property for all 25 of us - ranging in age from toddlers to seniors! :)We had a few minor issues with supplies and cleaning, but our host, Emma, was incredibly responsive and addressed everything within the hour. During our stay, we unexpectedly lost water (long story!), but Emma and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us and were extremely generous with a partial refund, they even offered a full refund if we choice to leave. We did not leave because they trucked in water just a couple hours later (at 1 am!!)The theater room was a highlight for movies, showing old home videos, charade games, etc. The kitchen was very spacious and the cooktop was a lifesaver for large crowds. If you plan to cook a lot (like we did), I recommend asking for an inventory of supplies - a few larger bowls and pots would have been helpful but we made due!Our family is looking forward to coming back to this location within the next couple of years for sure!

This was a beautiful lodge in a beautiful location. It was a fabulous place for our large family to gather - lots of space for group games and intimate conversations. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare all of the meals we planned. Thank you, Welton Woods!

It was the perfect place for our family gathering of nearly 40 people of all ages. There is a lot of room to spread out and have different activities going on simultaneously. The wrap around deck is amazing! The views are spectacular. It is remote enough that it is a very peaceful setting.

Perfect Fall Get Away

We loved Welton Woods for our work retreat! It was the perfect fall getaway with all the fun fall colors surrounding the cabin. We loved using the fire pits, watching movies all together in the theater room and cooking in the amazing kitchen. Can't wait to come back again for another work retreat.

We hosted our son’s wedding at this house with lots of people from both families. There was plenty of room for everyone. Fortunately there was help from everyone in keeping the place clean. The host was helpful with our only issue regarding a locked thermostat.

We have a group here for a business retreat. This was a perfect location. The room are designed perfect for this and the large kitchen can accommodate the large group. We will definitely use this place again in the future.

Amazing off-Site Retreat!

Brought down a group of 12 leaders from my company for an off-site retreat and it was amazing! We had plenty of space and loved being able to use the kitchen for cooking together and being able to all eat at one table. The lodge had so many wonderful amenities, I feel like I needed to stay another week to be able to use them all! Wonderful stay, beautiful lodge, great location!

The property was beyond our wildest imagination! It was so large and had the most gorgeous panoramic views. There was plenty of room for all of our people and the ability to have everyone in the same dining area made our meals special. Two thumbs up!

Family reunion

A wonderful home big enough to accommodate our 6 married children and our 24 grandchildren with room to spare. It rained several days that we were there so it was nice that there was so much to do inside. Plenty of seating for meals. The large deck provided beautiful views of the valley and a pleasant place to eat. Plenty of parking and a spacious master bedroom and bathroom. Loved our stay.

Perfect for our Family Reunion

We loved this property for our family reunion. The game area, theater, main living space and wrap around deck were all used. Plenty of sleeping space for our group of 40. Emma was so great to work with and responded right away to any questions we had. Loved it and would definitely book again!

We had a family reunion here. The house is beautiful, very clean, everything in good condition. Easy communication with property manager. Of note the last part of the drive is a bit steep, AWD is best for this if possible.

Family Reunion Stay

This place had tons of room and kept everyone busy. I would rent this property again. The only thing I have a negative comment about is the water pressure in the upper level. It is a beautiful place, and we all had a great time. It was amazing to find a location that slept all 45 of us in comfortable beds.

Fantastic Reunion location

This property filled all our needs for our family reunion for 45 people, from toddlers to senior citizens. The kitchen was supplied better than any other vacation rental I have used. There were several places for groups big or small to gather for fun or conversation. The host was helpful and responsive. Thank you!

Incredible Setting for a Memorable Experience!

This is an absolutely beautiful property. We had plenty of room for people to sleep, with multiple gathering spots for all age groups to hang out or be actively involved in games, conversations, and activities. We received massive amounts of snow during our stay over New Year's and it added a magical touch to the scenery and the setting. Emma was fantastic to work with!

Time together

Looked forward to this experience with family for several years. We were not disappointed — things to do on site and plenty of space to do it in. Beautiful setting in the tops of the mountains. Emma the property manager was excellent, she answers all our questions and gave us updates to road construction etc.

Youth group retreat

Took a group of 25+ people up for the weekend and was a perfect setting for outdoors (fire pits) plus lots of indoor activities when it was cold. All the amenities you need to cook for large groups plus plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Didn’t feel like we were crowded at all. The theatre room was great for presentations and guest speakers.
