This place is really great. It is really well laid out and equipped for a large group. We really enjoyed having two living and eating spaces and lots of room for the kids to play. The hottub was nice and clean. All in all an excellent stay.
This was the perfect place to stay for our friends and family ski trip. The home had everything we needed for cooking and a large main floor where we could all be together. Lindsay was quick to respond and get us supplies that we noticed had run out throughout our stay!
Was the perfect place
We are a group of ladies that came to Silvester to bike. Had a fabulous time. The Moonbeam was well equipped, spacious and quiet. We enjoyed home-cooked meals in the fabulous kitchen.
Hot tub was great
Thanks
This property was well designed, convenient for ski-in and ski-out access, well equipped, clean and comfortable. It suited our two families. We enjoyed the hot tub, the separate sitting area on the first floor as well as the main sitting area on the second floor. Great to have a large table for our two families to eat together. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
Moonbeam - great location, very clean and exceptional amenities
Perfect for a family get together! Great location--within walking distance to the Village and to fabulous hiking and biking trails. Very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed the exceptionally well stocked kitchen and supply of linens. Having the use of the garage to store our bikes and equipment was a great amenity and convenience. The hot tub and foosball table added to a wonderful family get together. This is an outstanding and well managed property. We'd come back again.
Great week skiing and snowshoeing at Silver Star, almost two feet of fresh snow and a great house to stay in. The only complaint is itâs too hard to access the great xc trails from the house - steep slopes made for downhill skiers. We finally took the shuttle to the village - no âski in/ski outâ as we hoped. Silver Star needs to fix this.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The chalet was well-equipped for the most part, especially the kitchen. Instructions for using the dishwasher were helpful! Hot tub was suitably hot and functioning, which for some of my teammates was pretty much the only criteria. We enjoyed the weather, despite the snow in May, and were overall quite pleased with the accommodations.Only a few things could use some attention or clarification. I never used the towels that were provided in the bedroom, only the towels that were in the bathroom. It strikes me now that maybe those were the bathmats? If not, that would be one thing that could use some attention, as stepping onto the cold tile floors was a bit uncomfortable. The downstairs heat didn't work. I don't know if we didn't do it right or what, but it never came on, so downstairs was quite chilly. On the bright side, both of us that were sleeping down there prefer to sleep cold, so we just didn't hang out down there except to sleep. While we're on the downstairs, there appears to be something wrong with the shower control. When I switched the shower head to massage, I couldn't get it to turn off at all. I had to switch it back to regular to be able to turn it off. And to whoever set the shower head height -- it would be helpful to remember that it is easier for a tall person to adjust shower height UP than it is for a short person to adjust the shower height DOWN. I took my first shower essentially scrunched up against the shower wall.
