We really liked the convenience of the unit to the beach and restaurants at the center of IOP. Easy access to Sullivans Island and IOP dining options. The property was nicely appointed, compact and provided all we needed for a wonderfully relaxing experience. Weâd love to come back again!!
Great location and very clean. It is small but decorated very nicely. The only complaint was the bed. It is too soft and worn out where you sink to the middle of the bed. We did sleep well.
The 1950âs apt. was perfect for the 2 of us. I had a couple of questions upon arrival and they were promptly answered. Location was good for us, and we would book again.
Beach cottage good size for the two of us. Short walk to the beach ( over a busy road). Cottage was clean. Close to restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood. Agency managing the rental were very responsive. Would definitely stay again.
Great location for a quick getaway. Apartment was clean and tidy. On a main drag, so if you're sensitive to noise or looking for beachfront, not the place for you, but the location is fantastic. Conveniently located close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, etc. and not too far of a drive from downtown.
This was the perfect size and the perfect location for my writerâs retreat. The place was clean, updated, and stocked with the necessities to cook a meal or two. The location is perfect for walking to the grocery store, the beach, restaurants and bars. I know that some of the reviews said the main road is noisy, but since I live near an interstate, it didnât bother me. I will keep this location in mind for future creative getaways.
I was fortunate enough to stay in this property for two weeks in November. The pictures of the property were accurate. It was adorable, clean and well appointed. It would be a perfect place for one or two people. Pretty tight for more than that. The rooms were well air conditioned having individual mini split ac in each room making it comfortable. Parking was right in front and washer and dryer were in a closet on the porch very accessible. The unit is the first house off a four lane highway so there is a good bit of road noise in the living room. Less noise in the bedroom but if you are a light sleeper you may want to consider that. The beach is walkable but also across the four lane highway. I walked several times but was there off season. I donât know how easy it would be to cross in the summer. I found the unit walking distance to many restaurants and a short drive to grocery. Mt. Pleasant was just over the bridge and it had everything you could possibly want. Overall it was a great stay. Hope to return one day!
We have been going to Isle of Palms for years and really enjoy it there. This location was very clean and convenient to the beach and restaurants. The one negative thing for us was that it was very small inside. The advertisement for this property said cottage so we were expecting something with more space. It definately is ony a two person lodging! I tried to contact the manager to see if we could extend our check out time for just an hour, but my phone call was not returned. Overall it was a good experience, but we wouldn't stay there again because it was too small of a space.
This place was very cute. About 1/2 hour away from alot of great things in S.C. We saw Folly Beach, Rainbow Road, Pier street bridge and Pineapple fountain. The beach across the street is great and shopping for everyday essentials isn't too far either. : )
Clean, comfortable, bright, well-equipped apartment, exactly as described and pictured. Perfect for two adults, and would be fun to also rent the other two attached units with a larger group. We were here for a week, and this location was perfect to for us to go in to Charleston and see the sites (the historic district, Fort Sumpter, a carriage tour) as well as the many amazing restaurants, and also explore the surrounding areas. We walked to the beach each morning, drove to the point at the edge of the island each evening to watch the sunset and the dolphins, and enjoyed some of the awesome restaurants within walking distance of the rental. We also ventured out to nearby Sullivan's Island, Folly Beach, up the "Hammock Coast" to Georgetown and Pawley's Island, and took a day trip down to Hilton Head. If it were a shorter trip and a first time to Charleston, I'd probably want to stay in town to see the sites, but this was a perfect place to access much more of the area and enjoy the beach, and I'd love to return to Isle of Palms again, with our grown children, or a girls' trip with friends.
The bungalow was exactly as described. It was small but cozy for 2. It had everything you needed and the location was great. It was easy to walk to several restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, and the beach. It is located on the side of a busy street but it really wasn't a big deal, no problem sleeping. Nice little porch to sit on and enjoy a cocktail.
