Great property in the middle of Wexford. Clean, comfortable beds & equipped with everything you need. It's small, but convenient for a short stay. You have to pay to park during the day from 8.30 to 18.30except for Sunday...but we found cheap parking just down the road.
This is a really delightful property, cosy and very comfortable with a customer-friendly smart TV. We found a lot of good movies we didnât expect, not least on YouTube. Beds also very comfy. Only tiny drawback was night-time noisiness, but thatâs inevitable flip side of being so close to the town centre.
And Wexfordâs a gorgeous town.
The house is in an amazing location and walking distance to everything Wexford has to offer. I could not be happier with Geraldine as a host she had top notch communication and I ended up coming back for a second stay. Lots of space for guests if you are staying over a long weekend.
A short 4 night stay. The location is very central and easily walkable to shops and restaurants etc. We had a few issues but owner sorted out very quickly. Depending on the reason for your trip I would recommend.
I have rented many apartments and houses through VRBO and met many good hosts, but Geraldine went above and beyond to be helpful, accommodating and kind. Her responses were immediate and friendly and she couldn't have done more to make our stay easy and enjoyable.
The house is even nicer than the photos, with cosy rooms and lovely furniture that suits the age and style of the house.
There were really generous supplies of all necessities and lots of fluffy towels. The bed linen was top quality and the beds were all very comfortable with the nicest pillows I have ever slept on!!
The location of the house is great, just off the main street on a residential road. It is within easy walking distance of all the shops, the quays etc. The road on which the house is located brings you straight to the main routes out of Wexford which is very convenient.
Just around the corner there are some nice restaurants. We enjoyed the lovely food at Stable Diet and the Chinese restaurant Emerald Gardens and Lotus and Mary Barry's seafood outside Kilmore Quay is not to be missed!!
Overall I can highly recommend Geraldine's lovely house in Wexford.
Welcome Guests. I am originally from Co.Wexford and I emigrated to the U.S. in 1986. I have worked in the medical and wellness field all my life and still do. I have a son, (born in Wexford), a daughter ( born in NYC) and I am truly blessed with four adorable grandchildren. I enjoy hosting because it simply feels good to create a comfortable and safe place for others.
