We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Nice quiet little area close to town. The house was nice and cozy stocked with everything we needed. I accidentally booked the wrong date for check in and was on my way when I realized but when I messaged the owner she got back to me immediately and help me correct the dates so I was able to check in without a problem. Overall wonderful stay and will definitely book again.
We had a quick overnight stay, it was a very pleasant place, clean and the host was very helpful and responsive. They let us keep our 3 dogs, which most places won't.
Everything was pretty good until we noticed a blinking blue light above the microwave. Upon closer inspection we saw what appeared to be a speaker or intercom type device that had blinking blue lights when noise or movement was detected. It made us very uncomfortable, to say the least.
The Vrbo system was unforgiving and hard a harsh taskmaster- the property was below expectation - I missed the part about one bed being in the kitchen/den/living room and the second bed being in the laundry room - it was a once in a lifetime experience never to be repeated
This rental is not equipped for freezing weather. The "fireplace" is a space heater not meant to heat even a room. There was an additional tiny space heater that I assumed was for the back room which not one person would be able to sleep in that room it was so cold. Literally ice on the windowsill when I woke up the next morning. I did not feel safe leaving a space heater on overnight or when someone was not present. I did not notice a smoke detector in the place, my husband would not stay there because it wasn't warm enough. The good thing is bed was comfortable. Also the musty mildew gave me headaches. I will no be back.
This is a very nice quiet place to stay. Very close to everything from shopping to restaurants. I highly recommend this property, Judy and her daughter were the best hosts ever, they were nominated for Best of the Pine Belt for a reason. Loved it!!
I was a quick drive from Hattie, and everything that I needed to get to. And itâs always a joy when I get to bring my pups along on a trip. Judyâs bungalow was equipped with everything I needed and more. Iâd stay here again, for sure.
Loved this little studio cottage, great, super fast internet
We loved staying here. It's a little on the smaller side, just like hubby and I liked it. The internet was super fast and great quality. Our big dog loved being able to go outside and run on the huge lawn in the front and backyard. The owner was very helpful and communicative. We were able to stream three devices with no buffering and a large selection of things to watch. Nice neighborhood, perfect for exploring Hattiesburg and we even took a little trip to Laurel, MS. Very cozy and comfortable for the two of us. There is a back room as well with a bed and laundry in it. The washer/dryer was very convenient. Everything was tidy and clean. We shall miss this little place!
I actually stayed at a different house on the same property. It was a 3 bedroom house, which left my husband and I with 2 extra rooms. Since we were at a family reunion, we thought maybe one of my siblings could use a room, so we contacted Miss Judy. She was so accommodating and helpful, and soon my brother, his wife, and their children were all enjoying this lovely country home with us!
The place was perfect for my husband and I as our small dog. The hostess was very helpful and courteous. It is in a very peaceful area and with the feel of privacy. We enjoyed the luxury of home away from home.
Enjoyed the location as it was central to Laurel, New Orleans and not a far drive to Vicksburg, Jackson. Comfortable bungalow. Learned something new, ROKU and streaming TV. At 65 years of age it was a bit intimidating but we figured it out with the help of the host. She was filled with grace and southern charm.
