This cabin combines the feel of being all alone in the mountains with the convenience of being close to town. Great well stocked cabin with great views. Perfect stay for us and our dogs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well-equipped cabin. Secluded, but convenient to town, it was the perfect spot for a long-weekend get away.
Unit was very good, as advertised, and well supplied. Some lights werenât working, but management and maintenance were very responsive.
We got misdirected by our gps trying to find Joshâs Trail the first time. Better directions would have been helpful. Thanks.
A very quiet stay! The cabin is tucked away and has everything one needs. It was well maintained and comfortable. The couches, however; might need to be replaced.
Right off the main road, yet secluded in the beautiful NC forest. The cabin was beautiful, in great condition, and really the perfect place for our family weekend away. We really enjoyed all the antiques that the owner displayed throughout! The management company was also very helpful in accommodating a special need we had. Would recommend highly!
The cabin was very clean and private. Wonderful place to relax. It is also very close to Cashiers for dining. Only issue was the Internet. It was very intermittent.
Would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our time at the Carolina Cabin tremendously. It couldnât be a more perfect mountain retreat. Creating a feeling of being far away from the hustle and bustle, while still havenât access within 5-10 minutes to the center of Cashiers. The dogs loved frolicking in the yard. And we all had enjoyed the quiet mountain air with a break from warmer SC temperatures. We look forward tot he next time.
This is a beautiful home with excellent kitchen and relaxation facilities. The place was spotless which we really appreciated. The beds are somewhat dated--old mattress and box springs with a piece of foam on top. The area is a small private enclave not conducive to a brisk walk in the morning. And make sure you get the correct electronic lock code for the door when you arrive.
This is a very nice, spacious cabin a few minutes from the heart of Cashiers. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in all the greenery surrounding us both in the morning and evening. The cabin is at the very end of a private road and is gated for security. It is very quiet except a rooster crowing beyond the trees. Be aware that there is a bird nest in the planter on the porch! Very sweet overall~
lovely getaway with beautiful property to play on.
this is a well maintained, well thought-out, spacious cabin. there were 7 in our party, and we all had ample space to be and to relax. group dinner was great (large table with plenty of seating) and large bathrooms make being together easy. the property is easy to find and super close to all things fun to do in the area. there are no crazy inclines or switchback (cliff) roads to get to the property and there is ample (flat) parking area. i particularly enjoyed hunting around looking at the fun/funky antiques (so many fun antique items decorate each room, very well thought out and tasteful).
the staff are very responsive and helped make our stay vey enjoyable. i intend to return in warm months to adventure around, but also because this property has really lovely places to be outside, including a large flat open yard (down a hill) that is above a rushing stream (can hear the water from the porch). this is a really lovely place to be.
Check-in info was terrible. No text of lockbox code provided within 24 hours as promised. Called in at main office, they said would text us when ready, about 4PM. I called about 2.00 to ask if could sit on veranda, they said was now ready, gave code. Arrived to find locked iron gate barrier. Called again for code. Went to front door which was locked and no key pad, so called office again. Just was lucky we decided to break drive and arrive before office closure on Sat or .... The iron gate only had pad incoming not outgoing - great for an area with 75" annual rainfall. House was VERY dark needed lights on constantly, And couldn't keep open the two doors because screens broken. Called office first thing Mon to report broken screens, was told would be fixed next day - still waiting when we left. All appliances, bathroom equipment just bare minimum, not even a shower mat - very dangerous for the elderly.
What is needed is a comprehensive info documentation for the individual residence not the general stuff for any/all properties but I suspect you can get away with it as Landmark appear to have the monopoly. We will return to the area and will avoid Landmark. The house was comfortable but spoiled by the above. Neil Henry
Very inviting cabin in the woods. Nicely furnished, clean. Forest views from every window. Easy to get to the many great trails in the area. The huge porch was a great place to relax. Canât imagine how it could be any better!
