Our stay in Fenney.

The property was all that we had hoped for. Everything you needed was included. The heated pool was fantastic especially since it was quite warm when we were there and the golf cart got a lot of use. Only issue we had was management company charged us to repair dishwasher which we never used. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed the home and wish we could have stayed longer. The property was clean and bright. We selected this home because it had the pool and proximity to friends in the same area. Loved the gas burners and the layout.

Excellent Villages stay!

My brother and I rented Brian’s place so we could use the outside space to safely visit with our parents who live in the villages. It was perfect. The large sliding glass patio doors created an inside outside perfect hang out for meals, snacks, and games. The house was clean and full of plenty of storage for a long stay. The pool was beautiful, but unfortunately not heated so a december visit did not include swimming. Would recommend to all who love golf.

Great house with a nice pool and lanai area

We were very happy with the house. Our kids loved the pool, although it was not heated. The community pool at Fenney is great for families and the pool there is heated. The house had everything you need to get started, but it did lack a bit in towels. There were 2 hand towels total. Hopefully they will supply more or additional laundry soap so you can wash towels everyday. I would definitely recommend this house to families bringing kids to visit.

Gorgeous Vacation Home in the Villages

This house was so beautiful and in a nice neighborhood. The pool was amazing, it's where we spent most of our time! The house was very clean. It was stocked very well with linens, towels and kitchen supplies. The only issue we had was with the king size bed in the Master Bedroom, it was not comfortable at all. My husband and I both had an achy back after sleeping in it. Make sure to check out The Fenney Grill while staying here. Only a couple minutes away from the house. The food and service was really good. And there is a beautiful nature trail there too that's worth checking out! ,

Gorgeous home, spotless!

This home far exceeded our expectations. It's beautiful and extremely clean, and the pool is private and very relaxing. The check in process was seamless, and the property manager checked in when the house was ready for check in, and again to make sure we arrived safely. This home is loaded with thoughtful details and it has everything you need if you want to enjoy a socially distanced getaway. However, we highly recommend taking a short drive to one of the Squares in the Villages to enjoy good food and company. Everyone we met was SO friendly and welcoming, and we learned so much more about The Villages than we expected. Thank you for helping us have a great vacation. We can't wait to return.

Beautiful house.

We enjoyed our four night stay in the Villages visiting family. The house was beautiful and very clean. It has nice gathering spaces, inside and out. There were plenty of dishes for preparing and serving family dinners. The pool and lanai were beautiful. The pool is heated by solar heat so it was freezing as it is December but that did not stop the kids. I would guess that most people stay for longer but we were surprised that there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. Also, the kitchen sink has no plug for washing dishes. My biggest complaint is that the king sized bed was super creaky. You wake the other person up just from rolling over. But overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Can't wait to book our return

Overall, this property is amazing. The pool is the reason that we will return to the property. A few things: I had to reach out to the property management company to find out about checking in (the management company was extremely helpful); pool towels did not exist so we had to use the extra towels in the linen cabinet; the property is about 15 minutes from Brownwood Square - a Publix is about 8 minutes away; however, restaurants and shopping have not gotten to this newer section of The Villages; the pool guy appeared on Thursday and told us that he was shocking the pool and because of the chemicals we should avoid the pool until after 1pm. He indicated that he notifies the property management company but never knows if the renter is aware. We were not notified by the management company. Pool rafts were provided; laundry soap was provided. We did not use the golf cart.

Village Trip

New beautiful house, very clean, nice new neighborhood, very safe feeling, with nice new furniture. My only comment is that my grandmother suddenly passed four days prior to the reservation in Maine and we had the reservation to visit my parents whom live in the Villages (very close to this house) and they had to travel to Maine suddenly for the funeral thus there was no reason for us to come to the Villages as we all need to travel to Maine. I discussed this with the property manager to cancel or possibly reschedule and was told all they could refund was the damage deposit. This I understand as it is in the rental agreement that I signed that 60 days notice would need to be given (which seems quite excessive) but I was hoping that given the circumstances and that we only booked for 3 nights some agreement could have been reached more than just the damage deposit given the house would not need to be cleaned etc. We did change our plans and stay in the house so as not to loose the significant amount of money already paid, just without being able to spend time with my parents or attend the funeral in person. We would stay at the house again but hopefully under better circumstances.

My vacation that wasn't home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, the home was beautiful and in a very nice neighborhood... My initial thoughts were positive... Once it was time for bed the hardships began... The bed was like sleeping on concrete and there wasn't enough extra cover in the house to use... The next day we received a call from the property management team saying they received calls about music playing loud during the night... We'd traveled far and had driven so many hours 16 we arrived at 3 and were in bed by 9 tired from the journey... We were in a wealthy golfing community and clearly, they had problems without our presence. the next time another call came in because we were being watched they were informing us of our company, and vehicles in the driveway.. Unnecessary complaints about constantly even though we were compliant with all the rules.. The AC went out on the 2nd day and didn't begin to cool the house again until day 4... We enjoyed the pool it was beautiful and relaxing. The living room furniture was filthy pillows and cushions are stained it could at least be shampooed and cleaned since it's such a turnover of guests... I never had a good night's sleep the beds were so hard worst mattresses ever... Everything was cheap except for the pot set we bought cover spent so much extra money to be comfortable and the price of the rental it didn't match my comforts of home.. I would not stay again mainly because that community doesn't care for people of color. I never experienced that type of racist behavior ever just by being somewhere freely but unwanted simply because I was black... We were watched and reported on every day we were there... Very disappointed 🙁 so much planning it was beautiful make-up on a pig... Beautiful home filled with cheap beds, bedding, accommodations, and a racist neighborhood.. 😞😞🙁🙁🙁

There were many issues that you addressed here, but most of it is untrue. Yes, there were many complaints from neighbors of you having parties with loud music at the home, even after you were informed that parties were not allowed. You had a baby shower and caused extensive damage to the pool with the decorations that were used. The neglectful and abusive behavior is not something we like to see with how our guests take care of a home, you did not clean up the property from the parties you had. In regards to the A/C, the back door was left open, instead of being closed as stated in the home, this kept the A/C from being able to keep up and could have caused the whole system to break. There have been many positive reviews of this home, with no complaints about the beds or that items in the home were not adequate. Please remember you are occupying someone else’s home and the way you treated it, was completely unacceptable. There were no comments on your race, just that you were not being respectful with the amount of noise and chaos you caused. I hope in the future you can treat the properties you rent; better than the way you treated this property. Please call us if you would like to discuss this further. Thank you

Beautiful place......However??

The property was overall beautiful, however there were several hiccups, that i believe was poorly handled. I was never sent the code to retrieve the key, so my first rental night I had to rent rooms for my guests and myself. So by the time we landed it was after 730pm. and unable to reach maonagement. When called following day, all they kept telling me was their records show it was sent @ 304pm. No empathy whatsoever.

We enjoyed our stay at the home! The communication was quick and precise! The house was well maintained and very clean. The pool was extremely well kept and so many great outdoor chairs and loungers. I do wish that all bedrooms had a tv in them. Other than that, would rent this home again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed the location and the house. Went down for a family wedding and to celebrate a 50th birthday.Couldn't ask for a better place. Never had a chance to get in the pool(despite the fact we're from New England and it's in the 30 degrees) the air and water here was too cool to get in). Just a couple of suggestion... squeegies for the showers to wipe down and towel bars or racks for wet towels would be nice.

Vacation Rental in a beautiful neighborhood

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was spacious and had adequate dishes, pans, etc. I added to both guest beds a thick mattress topper. The pool was lovely but not heated so it was too cold to use. Maybe it will be warm by mid summer. Very nice four person golf cart.

Home Away from Home in The Villages

Overall, our experience was excellent. We rented this home as a trial for becoming “snowbirds” in the Villages. We loved the experience of the community and the neighbors were more than friendly. The only drawback about the house was that the pool had no heater. Again, the accommodations were more than acceptable… in fact, they were spectacular. That said, if one would visit in the winter months when it is cooler at night, the water temperature is downright cold! In the future, we will not pay the extra money to rent a home with a pool. We did not realize that there were plenty of pools (heated) in the area. If the pool doesn’t matter, then we highly recommend this accommodation.
