I’ve come to this house several years in a row now for my birthday weekend! Great location, deer in back yard every year…and this year we got almost 12 inches of snow! The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is top notch!! Will be my go to spot every year!!

Sweet cottage in the woods with the best mountain views!

This was the perfect spot for our family getaway. The kids loved the basement and quickly named it the “kids cave.” We enjoyed the beautiful deck and spacious yard, and the location was ideal, close to Beech Mountain town center and the Buckeye Rec Center. The owners were incredibly responsive, and the rental was spotless. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful couples trip and could not have hoped for anything better! The views were amazing, deer every morning in the yard, great communication from the hosts and it felt like a second home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all for a few days!

Quick mountain getaway

We enjoyed our time here. We especially liked the views and the deck fire pit. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. It would be nice if the exterior pictures were updated to show the new hot tub location.

Absolutely Gorgeous

Excellent views. Wildlife would travel through the property at least twice a day. Property was extremely clean and inviting. We almost were afraid to tell how nice it is for fear of it might stay booked up.

We had an incredible stay at your beautiful cabin in Beech Mountain. We loved the panoramic views from every window in the house. We had a small issue starting the fireplace, and the owners were so responsive and got us up and running immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend this location or the house for your next retreat to the NC Mountains. There was so much to do around the area. Hiking, waterfalls, wineries, great small towns to visit. We loved every minute of our time!

Wildlife wonderland

This is our second time staying at this house at Beech Mountain….honestly wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! Views are incredible, house has everything we need…but the ultimate draw are the deer that walk through the backyard each day…probably 30 a day! We sit out at the fire pit each day and just watch!! The owners are very accommodating and easy to work with. 6 ⭐️ review!

Snowy stay at 100 acre woods

My family and I along with some friends had a great stay at 100 acre woods cabin. We arrived on a friday and monday we got snow. A lot of snow. We enjoyed the warm inside, played games, and took a dip in the hottub. Our son loved the pac man game downstairs. Great cozy cabin to stay in. We went snowboarding before heading home. Overall we had a great time. Owners and property managers were amazing.

Beautiful Mountain Range Views!

Loved our time here and hope to return soon. The peaceful views of the mountains and deer were just what we were hoping for. Comfy and clean. Very quick and easy communications with hosts. We were happy that there was a bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs loft-bedroom with full bathroom. The downstairs offers 2 sets of bunkbeds, foosball, poker table, PacMan, sofa/futon, large tv, electric fireplace and a third full bathroom. Plenty of room for parking. Loved it!

The house very pretty but little bit dirty!The housekeeper not wash the bed cover only changes the sheet, and when we go sleep we smelled pee in the bed!The view is amazing!!Winter months is needed 4x4 car or snow wheel chain!! The jacuzzi works, but the water was very dirty and smelled bad, so we couldn't use it! The owner very,very helpful !!

Birthday Weekend Escape

We had an amazing time at this property. We got in early…and was allowed to checkin a little early which was very appreciated. 4 miles from Beech Mtn Resort (went up first night). Why we will come back: views are amazing..we brought our own firewood and sat outside at the fire pit most of the days watching deer pass within 20 yards of where we sat. Hot tub was incredible at night! Bed was very comfortable which is hard to find! We brought groceries and grilled out on the deck each night. No reason to leave this property once you arrive (unless you want to ski). We will definitely come back to this property next year!

Million Dollar View!

I agree with other guests that the view at this property is absolutely amazing! It’s a million-dollar view without the price tag;) The house was also very cozy and comfortable. It feels like a home rather than a rental. The owners are clearly doing gradual updates and you can tell they put a lot of love into the home. My teens enjoyed the foosball table and pac man game, and we all enjoyed both fire pits. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we appreciated the outdoor gas grill very much! Another bonus is the location—so close to the resort as well as other Beech mountain attractions. Had a great time!

Older cabin with an amazing view

We wanted a getaway in the woods with a balcony with a view and this place met that expectation. We enjoyed the quiet in the woods with birds chirping and deer grazing in the yard. We enjoyed sleeping on the loft with amazing view out the window. The location is ideal for Beech mountain hiking and cool temperatures. This cabin is old and needs updating and could use a good spring cleaning. The place is dusty and there are cob webs all over the windows. The furniture is old and the kitchen is very small. Overall, this is an old cabin in the woods with amazing views and a great fire pit.

Hi Kerry, we're glad you enjoyed this beautiful property overall! - While it is an older cabin, the homeowners work hard to keep it well-maintained and updated. - They let us know that they had some work done inside before your stay, which led to the dust. The cabin has since been deep-cleaned. - They work hard to keep cobwebs cleared, but the wooded location means guests may occasionally see some outside. The property is just as pictured on the listing, and we are confident that future guests will continue to enjoy five-star stays here!

Cozy with a fantastic view!

Our family stayed for a week and loved this place so much!!! Everything you needed was provided along with a gameroom downstairs that kept us all entertained daily!! It was close to local ski resorts and shopping. The backyard view was amazing and the deer came by for a visit everyday! We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place to everyone!

We were able to see tons of deer just from the deck! The property is beautiful and the pac man machine kept the kids entertained all weekend, we will be back!

Absolutely Awesome

Communication and how accommodating the owner was before and during our stay was incredible. The pictures and description of the cabin do not do it justice. We will absolutely be back and have already started talking with others that we want to come with us next time. The view and wildlife were amazing, the local area was fun and the entire stay was absolutely amazing. Thank you for a great weekend get-a-way and we look forward to staying here again!!
