Excellent stay on Nantucket. The house is in an amazing location just a few blocks from town. We had a few hiccups but they were taken care of immediately. Great host.
We are a family of five adults attending a four day wedding at various places around the island. We all had a private place to sleep and change our clothes for the many events. So close to town, we could go to a store for supplies or a coffee shop.Very well appointed, clean, pretty house.
We had an amazing time staying here for Nantucketâs Christmas Stroll! Amazing location, such a quick walk to town, and the cutest cottage. It made for an amazing girls trip!
This lovely home at 6 School St. couldnât have been a better place to stay. So close to everything we wanted to see in Nantucket and a very comfortable house. Very neat, clean, and restful.
Lovely home steps from town. Great location and charming home!
This home was perfect for our family's stay in Nantucket for a wedding weekend. We loved that it was easily walkable to town for coffee, dinners, and shopping. We also rented bikes for longer trips to the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side, but there was plenty of living space throughout the house for our family of 4 adults. The back patio area and gardens were a lovely addition. Private and well kept. We would definitely stay here again
This house was awesome! Great location to town. We spent our days at a different beach each day and enjoyed walks into town for dinners. We loved the charm of this old house and enjoyed sitting in the garden as well. Having beach toys and chairs at the house was very convenient when traveling with children. The family loved Nantucket and we will definitely be coming back in the future.
If you are looking for convenience to restos, boutiques and everything downtown - look no further! This is a charming, small traditional Nantucket cottage in the heart of town. The only suggestion would be to upgrade the bathrooms/showers. Julie the owner was delightful to deal with. We had a great time despite the constant rain which we hear was rather unusual for September!
We loved our stay! The house is adorable, clean and very well-appointed. The location is fantastic, and Julie went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Will be returning! :)
The location of this house to Main Street was perfect and easy bike ride to beaches - Jetties and Surfside being the easiest. The property was equipped with everything you need including beach chairs and towels, and was decorated in traditional style in line with the age of the home. The walk to town is super convenient, which made our morning coffee run to The Hub very easy.
We had an extended summer stay at Julieâs charming home. Then linens, kitchen supplies, beach gear were top notch. The home is clean and comfortable. It is a historic older home just steps from Main Street. The parking spot is essential and while narrow we easily parked our suv. We enjoyed the back patio, beautiful garden and grilled a bunch. Julie is the perfect host. While no big issues arose, when I did contact her she responded immediately. Donât hesitate to book! Thanks for a wonderful summer
The property was absolutely amazing and such a special place! It is an older home with so much character and it felt like a storybook. It was the easiest walk to down (even my parents who are a bit older thought the walk was perfect!) and a beautiful neighborhood to walk through. Everything we wanted to do was super close!
We slept so well in this home too! Great space inside and outside to cozy up with a book. We had a few questions about things here and there and the owner was very responsive and super helpful! The instructions on everything regarding the house and the town were well organized and thorough.
We canât wait to stay here again!
This was such a wonderful and much needed getaway for myself and my family. The location of the house was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to all the shops, grocery store, and bars/restaurants
that are downtown. My older children loved that they could walk to all the bars downtown and walk home at the end of their night. My teenager loved that she could wake each morning and walk downtown for a coffee Or she could walk herself back to the house if she didn't want to stay out with the rest of us after dinners. My husband and I enjoyed being able to wake before the others and walk down by the water and all around town in the mornings. The house was absolutely lovely. The kitchen well appointed. The back patio area enjoyable. Check in was a breeze and Julia was a great host. If you want to be downtown where the action is, this is a great little spot. Highly recommend.
Our family of 5 just returned from a wonderful week on Nantucket. This location was great--we didn't realize how "in" town we were, two block walk to the top of main street. School St. is cute and quiet, and the neighbors were friendly. The home is a typical old home, small bathrooms and kitchens, but very well maintained. It was the perfect amount of room for our family of five, include two teens and a 10 year old. The back patio is a perfect spot for morning coffee and we had takeout lobster dinner out back with another couple. The home is clean and cozy, the kitchen is small but well appointed, and the linens and towels were new. Julie, the owner, was incredibly responsive to our questions and when a couple little things needed attention. the parking space is very small, but were were able to squeeze a Chevy Tahoe in there every night--it was a stressful undertaking but a smaller car would be no problem. We walked to breakfast, dinner, and ice cream every night. It really is a fantastic location and we can't wait to come back.
Cute place with lovely outdoor space steps from town
We loved staying at Julieâs place, it was the perfect place for our party of 4. The backyard with the lights was so nice on Nantucket evenings. Weâd definitely come back!
We had a wonderful stay at this classic New England saltbox house in one of the quiet lanes right in town. It is a bit quirky, with original (1700s!) details inside and a steep staircase to the bedrooms, but it has all the modern amenities you might need. Perfect small house for a couple and a guest or a couple and two children. There is plenty of dining/living room to spread out on the first floor. Earlier reviews mention the tight parking space - if you're going to roll onto Nantucket in a massive truck or oversize SUV, this is not the house for you. It is fine for a normal-size car or small SUV/CRV.
Julie is owner and host of the property, a Nantucket Resident for over 40 years , whose 2 sons are 4th generation Natives. Working and living nearby she is just a phone call away to assist you
