The location was very convenient for our granddaughter’s wedding weekend. The house was comfortable and well laid out for our purposes 1 would stay there again.

The property was perfect for me and my family. It was close enough to the convention center to get there quickly, but far enough that we could take a break from it all. If you have an event at the convention center but are not crazy about hotel food and prefer to do your own shopping I would highly recommend.

Needs a deep clean. Could sleep 10 with the amount of beds, but there was no room to sit all together and watch tv with 5 of us. Parking was a lot to deal with, but we managed 2 cars in the driveway. There was a strong cat urine smell around the front door that was very off putting. It was okay to sleep in for one night.

Overland Park Duplex near our son and family

We chose the duplex because it looked nice and was less than a mile from our son and his family. Perfect choice as a lightning strike took out their neighborhood electricity but our neighborhood still had it, so they “moved” in for a couple of nights!

Perfect place to stay.

I cannot express the amazingness of the hosts! Boris was on top of things and was so amazing to work with! We stopped only for the night to break up a drive home from Colorado. It was perfect to be able to relax after a long day. Also a huge shout out to the host for taking care of any issues with the rental before we even got to the home. 10/10 rent with Boris! They have different properties too, so if this one isn’t the right one just look at their others!

Great home in a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in OP, thanks in part to this home. The split level is perfect for anyone traveling with children. It provided ample space for all 4 of us, and the kiddos took over the downstairs area. All the listed amenities were great! The washer and dryer was nice for being there 7 days. I will say the Wi-Fi was pretty weak and we couldn’t get the upstairs TV to connect, or play anything. The host was responsive and friendly. All in all we had a great time and will book again for our next trip back to OP.

We have stayed here twice now. I enjoy how easy it is to jump on a highway to get to restaurants, shopping etc.

Very clean and comfortable

This was a great location for shopping and food. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed. Checkin/out was very simple and Boris gave us all the info we needed ahead of time! I would recommend this to others and consider staying there again in the future.

Not very clean and cranky owner

The refrigerator had food stains in it. The garbage disposal was full of rotten food and was jammed. We cleaned both and fixed the jammed disposal. The owner tries to claim we had pets there. We didn't and when I challenged him for proof he quit emailing me. Guess we'll find somewhere else to stay next time I want to visit my parents.

Great little nook in Overland Park

The owner was great at communicating everything we needed. The house was great for what we needed. It's small, but because it's broke up by floors it doesn't feel small. I'd recommend a group to stay here!

Needs a bit more attention

Property is conveniently located but suffers from inattention. The stair railing’s main anchor bolt has come lose meaning when you grab onto it the entire railing moves significantly; a safety hazard. The basement shower drain was not attached, so when you stepped on it the drain cover shot out from under your feet, another safety hazard, and opened a large unguarded gap into the drain. Also the soap and shampoo dispenser from that shower had been ripped out leaving only the ragged bracket left on the shower. One of the pillow slips had apparently been put on wet and was horribly sour-fortunately we found a lot of laundry in the dryer and could replace it. The electronic lock to access the front door did not work about a third of the time. The upstairs tub clearly has a clogged drain; it took forever to drain after a shower.

Overall pretty good stay

Overall the property was what we needed to spend a weekend at KC Renaissance Faire. The house is smaller than you think I may be but all of the space is well utilized, and the 7 of us slept comfortably. I also appreciate the thoroughness of the instructions for the house that were provided for us. On thing to keep in mind, to the neighborhood has a lot of cars parked on both sides of the road so carpool if you can.

We had an excellent experience! We were able to cut costs and eat at the home vs eating out so this was great. Easy location and was close to our camp facilities. Close to mall also!

It was okay

The duplex has all the essentials--enough in the kitchen to get by, (except there was no salt, just pepper), and there was plenty of bedding and towels. But overall the experience was just ok. The neighborhood was fine until someone had a very loud late night party, but it was nice and accessible to the freeway for easy access to KC. The duplex was very small, so we were pretty cramped, but luckily the area has plenty to do so it makes it easy to get out and stay plenty busy. I think our biggest complaint is that it just needs a good deep cleaning and some maintenance. It was surface clean, but I found myself cleaning a lot just to feel comfortable there. Also, some things were falling apart/needed repairs, like the railing was coming loose out of the wall which made us nervous with our kids there. I think if they did some good cleaning and repairs that I could recommend it, but not until some of those things are taken care of.
