We enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was there. The bed was perfect and we slept comfortably. Love the rain shower and the very nice remodel! It's in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. Parking is off-street, which we appreciate.
The place was as pictured inside. Itâs a remodeled garage with the basics provided in the kitchen and a decent shower. The exterior needs a lot of work, but someone did come and mow while we were there. It helped some. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, itâs fine for that. If youâre wanting to hang out or spend any time outside, might consider another one of his or other properties. May be more comfortable. Otherwise, Ryan was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. Very appreciated.
My husband and I spent the weekend in this adorable little house and it was perfect. We received very clear instructions and had no issue finding the place or getting checked in. It seemed like a nice, quiet neighborhood and we found all kinds of restaurants and coffee spots in the area. The pillows are a bit flat but we had our own so it wasnât an issue for us, and the bed was comfortable. Weâd definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!
The area around property was not the nicest, but once you got into the cottage, you were transformed to a lovely situation. We did feel safe so that was very important.
My wife and I stayed here for a couple days for a business trip and really liked the bungalow. Nice amount of space, quiet neighborhood, easy communication with host- great experience, would recommend.
The bungalow was modern interior. We went when it was over 100 degrees and the wall AC unit worked great! Thehost was responsive to our questions. I would definitely stay again.
This place met our needs. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice.
The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you might need for a short stay. However, the sink In the bathroom is tiny and water goes everywhere. There was absolutely nowhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. I had to use the table outside of the bathroom. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.
Perfect place for one or two people. Very smartly converted garage with private parking and entrance. High top dining table was uncomfortable to sit at, but otherwise great amenities like the shower, kitchen and glass wall separating bedroom. The bathroom sink WAY too small for toiletries. Great kitchen to cook in. Shops and restaurants within 2 miles. I used it for a place to stay after work near Yuba City and would stay here again.
This is a nice little place inside. When we arrived we could tell it had been closed up for a while. It was hot and had a stale musty smell. The bathroom was not clean. The kitchen is minimally stocked. Itâs ok for an overnight. The backyard is overgrown with dry weeds, no place nice to sit outside. We had an issue getting in and the owner did not answer the phone and mailbox was full. However I called again a little later and he answered and was very nice and helpful. I canât give a great recommendation but as an overnight it was ok.
Came to CA for a concert at the amphitheater in Wheatland. Needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights and everything within a 30 mile radius was outrageously priced. This Bungalow was the only place reasonably priced so we took a chance. Itâs less than 15 minutes from the venue. The surrounding neighborhood looked a little sketch upon arrival but we never felt unsafe the 2 days we were there. The bungalow was cozy and comfortable for 2 people. Any more and it will be crowded. The kitchen area is very nice even though we didnât use anything. Bathroom barn door is awkward and the bathroom sink is something else. Bed is comfortable and we had no problems sleeping. TV is a smart TV. We logged into our own YouTubeTV account for âcable tvâ.
Our only gripe is regarding our arrival. It was 98 degrees outside when we arrived and when entering the unit the thermostat temp read 87 degrees inside. The AC is a small unit affixed to the wall above the couch. It took over 4 hours to get the temp down to a comfortable zone in the mid 70âs. The rest of the stay was perfect inside once we got the temp under control. The AC worked great. I would recommend maybe contacting the host and ask is someone could click on the AC a couple hours before your arrival time if you let them know. Iâm not sure if they accommodate things like that? Anyway, we would definitely stay here again.
Impeccably clean, and as pictured, this studio is in a nice residential area of Yuba City. The waterfowl migration of geese and swans in the area was all we hoped for. The remodeling was more concerned with looks than with practicality. We were glad there were so many amazing restaurants in the area, because this is not a kitchen meant to be cooked in as we had planned (Note: cute plates are not microwaveable, no bowls for mixing).
Check in was easy. The remote for the heater was not on the refrigerator as the instructions said. The faucet in the bathroom was loose and needed to be tightened. It would have been helpful if there were directions on the use of the TV. The shower was impossible to regulate. Either it was too hot or too cold. Moving the regulator only slightly created a drastic change in temperature.
Everything was clean and well organized, a lovely zebra friendly color theme. Plenty of space for two people. Responsive and attentive host. Would stay here again.
The place is great but not well equipped with essentials like a hand or dish towel. There was one in the bathroom crumpled up on the window sill. The hot water heater had a not posted over settings, do not touch. The water is tepid at best. So definitely canât count on anything being sanitary
