Campbell Cabin: une retraite parfaite

Cette maison en bois rond est construite sur 140 acres de belle campagne. Parfait pour une grande rĂ©union de famille, une rĂ©union ou une escapade paisible. Cette cabine est le rĂȘve de notre famille depuis 20 ans et nous sommes ravis de partager la beautĂ© et la tranquillitĂ© de celle-ci avec les autres. Nous le remodelons / amĂ©liorons depuis trois ans. Et il y a encore des projets sur lesquels nous travaillons. C'est une ferme idĂ©ale pour jouer et profiter du plein air pendant la journĂ©e; puis torrĂ©fier les s'mores et profiter des Ă©toiles vibrantes la nuit.

Everything was great. It was clean. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens. The kitchen was well stocked. It was warm enough to sit out on the back deck and enjoy the sunshine. We will definitely recommend!!

We are a group of 16 guys that have been traveling around the country since 1988 for a major college football game. The property was amazing and fit us just fine. The best thing about this property was the host Bridgette. Like I said, we have stayed in places around the country but never did we have the amazing communication that we had with the host. I would recommend this property to anyone.

The house is even better then the pictures!! Went with a group of friends, and the property had everything we needed and works very well for large groups or families. The owner was also very quick to respond to any questions. Great place to stay for anyone looking to do a Bourbon trip!!

The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We spent the weekend here for a birthday celebration with the whole family. The kitchen is outfitted really well and allowed us to prepare several big meals for everybody. We really enjoyed a couple beautiful evenings on the deck. The seven bedrooms gave us plenty room to spread out at night.

This was a great location for our large family. We spent the 4th of July weekend here and had a blast. The patio area in the back is not highlighted enough. Great for cookouts, family time, and just hanging out. We brought some water ballons and squirt guns and had a blast. There was plenty enough room for 13 adults and a bunch of kids. Both kitchens and refrigerators came in handy. The host was prompt and helpful with a couple of our questions. This location is not very close to shopping centers or other amenities; however, it is a very good place to unplug from the noise of life.

Family Trip A Success

The process to rsvp and pay for the cabin was smooth and easy. The cabin sits on acres of beautiful land away from the road. On a hill. The cabin is absolutely gourgeous, warm, and welcoming. Very peaceful and tranquil. Our entire family loved the views, the rooms, the deck, and games. No one was disappointed.

80th bday family celebration

Everything was just as described. Great place to stay with lots of room. Host was very responsive to questions we had and very accommodating. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of pots and pans to cook meals for large group. Awesome deck to sit out and grill. Loved the seclusion and privacy. Basement was perfect for playing games and watching TV. Check in and check out had very clear instructions and we knew what was expected. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay again! We had a total of 17 adults and never felt crowded.

This was an amazing cabin! It has everything you need for a fun and relaxing get away with a large group! The outside is just as beautiful as the inside with a huge yard for kids to run and play without worrying about them getting in the street. Our large group all agreed it was the nicest cabin we have ever stayed in! The owners were super helpful in responding whenever we had a question. I highly recommend and the photos do not do it justice.

WON-DER-FUL!!!!

Everything about this place was great! Better than I hoped for! The owners were so nice to work with and super responsive each time we had a question. We had a large group of adults and it was so nice having 7 bedrooms so everyone could have some privacy. The deck was so perfect to hang out with the whole group. It was nice not having neighbors so we could play music and outdoor games without wondering if we were disturbing the neighbors. I could go on & on. If you’re considering this place for your group - you will not be disappointed!

Perfect for a large group

We had a weekend of 20 friends and family, this place couldn't have worked out any better. The listing is underselling itself to be honest. I would not hesitate to book again if staying in the area.

Best Quiet Getaway

A group of friends that all crochet gathered at this house for a little getaway together. We had the best time filled with laughs, yarn and lots of great food. Thank you for the wonderful, clean property!It was very well stocked and more spacious in person than the photos made it appear :)

Family Gathering

We had such an amazing experience at this property. It's seven cousins all meeting up together and their kids. Very nice each couple has a bedroom. Loved that the living room and kitchen was an open concept. The back deck is huge and we had wished it was a bit warmer when we visited so we could have enjoyed it more. Same with just being able to walk the property. This was perfect for our family and we will make plans to come back. Host was very helpful and I texted several times and always heard back from her in a very reasonable time.

Great Place to unwind

We were thoroughly impressed with this property and all the opportunities it offered. If you like genuine country settings, this Cabin is a must see. We had our extended family together for Christmas and there were plenty of activities available to keep everyone entertained, as well as plenty of bedrooms for everyone to sleep comfortably. We will definitely be back if the opportunity presents itself!

Our annual Thanksgiving family get together. House was well maintained and clean. Communications with owner was excellent. Lots of property to explore and great having 2 kitchens. With 20 people an extra bathroom would have been better but we managed fine. Would book again.

KY Country Cabin

If you're looking for a spacious home, in a quiet country setting, this is a great option for you. We had our family of 15, ages 3 mo to 60 years, stay for five nights, and we had a terrific time. Outdoors, we played in the yard, walked the fields and the woods, grilled & dined on the deck, sat around the fire pit, and watched the sun rise from the hot tub. Indoors, we shared meals, did crafts, played games, and stayed up late. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very accommodating (the downstairs bedrooms do all share one bath). The kitchen is open, well-stocked, and there are plenty of tables and chairs to support a large group. The home owner was very accessible and responsive via text, before, during, and after our stay. Lexington and Frankfort are both within about an hour's drive, giving you fun day trip options. We went to the Kentucky Horse Park, the Buffalo Trace Distillery, and the Capitol Building. (Note: once you leave the highway, the roads to the property begin to narrow ... four lanes become two, two lanes become windy & hilly with no shoulders, two lanes turn into one as you get w/in five miles of the house ... so, try to arrive while you have still have daylight. And drive safely.) Highly recommend this property, as we plan to return in the future.

Exceptional

This was a planned family trip with the intention to go to Keeneland. We went last year and stayed in Lexington. We had family from Ohio, Michigan and Connecticut. This property was so nice we could spread out, had plenty of things to do and enjoyed the quiet that most decided to stay at the house and not go to Keeneland. Very nice property. Will stay there again!!

Perfect Setting

This is my 9th year running a retreat for our staff (9-12 people). This was my favorite year so far with the retreat rental and location. * Plenty of bedrooms and space. * Extremely Clean! * Well stocked. * Many little extras thought of. * Quiet location with plenty of land to hike. Just Perfect!

Spent weekend here with 10 friends from a local college. Cabin was perfect for our group and the property is unbelievable! Easy drive down from Louisville, too.

Amazing Stay

Our group was a group of 16 adults. The cabin was beautiful, spacious, very clean, and very relaxing. The back deck was perfect for cooking and enjoying our time together. Our host was amazing, and answered all questions quickly. Everyone had a fantastic time, this was the best VRBO rental we have ever had!

Rob and I have saved for land and a cabin for the first 20 years of our marriage. We have 4 kids and this has become a family business for us. Between guests, we are out there as a family working on projects to make the cabin more beautiful and making sure that the cleaning and upkeep is to our high standard. We also enjoy time out there bonding and enjoying nature.

We both come from large families and in the busyness of raising an active family of our own, we wanted a place for real connections to happen. Time spent with a beautiful view, fishing or hiking the woods or on the deck enjoying the stars. These moments have created incredible bonds with our kids, their friends and youth groups and cousins. We love the opportunity to extend the same opportunity to other families and groups for a unique time away where everyone can enjoy a break from screens and busyness.
