Really nice cosy place to stay in, the cabin have everything we need. The view from the cabin is beautiful, it is so relaxing and have a calming feel to it. Itâs close to town and we could walk there. Ken (the host) is very welcoming and even gave us some hay to feed the horses if we want to. Outside are a few fruit trees, we even had some sweet mandarins straight from the tree. All in all a great place to stay. I would definitely go back there whenever Iâm in Berry.
Me and my friends went for a little getaway. We really loved the place and the area. We loved everything about the place. I recommend this place to anyone trying to visit berry.
An excellent place to stay although some maintenance required. Ceiling fan in bedroom didn't work, toilet seat does not fit properly, towel rack in bathroom loose, towel ring in toilet required for hand towel. Lots of weeds in gardens. The cottage was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views. Unfortunately we weren't there long enough to meet any animals as we came to Berry for a wedding and had to check out by 10am next day. I was disappointed we didn't get to meet the host either. Overall highly recommended.
Great location on the edge of Berry but with an added bonus of an amazing view over fields, paddocks and hills.Cottage was great and Ken provided a warm welcome and the kids loved feeding the horses and learning about the farm.We had some storms and bad weather while we were down but the cottage was perfect for watching the clouds come in and the rain pour down.We visited in summer but would also be ideal for a winter break where you can put the fire on and relax. We will be back!
Ken is a brilliant host, accommodating our families needs, and ensuring our son had a brilliant stay - including a ride with his Clydesdale Carlton! I was absolutely delighted with the accommodation and property in Berry. The location and view was idyllic close enough to the town to pop in for dinner, Donuts or pub nosh, but on the thequieter side of town.
We really enjoyed our brief stay at Peppergrove Cottage and wished we could have stayed longer. It is in a great situation on the edge of Berry, a short walk to the centre but with expansive views across open fields. The cottage is nicely laid out and furnished, and very well equipped, and the host Ken was very welcoming and helpful
We had a very relaxing stay for 4 days. Everything you need is included and the view is stunning. Great location too, only a few mins walk to the Berry shops. Highly recommended!
Beautiful accommodation set in rural environment within walking distance to the centre of the Berry township. Everything was clean, and thoughtful touches were provided. Easy communication with the host who was friendly and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Just a really lovely place to stay. Weâll be back!
We had a lovely stay at Peppergrove Cottage. The kids enjoyed feeding and interacting with the cows & horses. We were lucky to watch a calf being born. Ken was a friendly host. His horse & cart ride around town was fun.
Great location, excellent property, well equipped, friendly owners. Highly recommended. We were here as 3 friends playing golf. The property has lovely views and has everything you would want. One of the best places we have stayed - we will definitely return with our families.
Lovely and beautiful farm, peaceful vibe. Ken is very kind to take us on his horse cart around the town, it was magical and wonderful experience. Great place to stay!
Warm and cosy and perfectly equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cows, horses and a Beautiful view, close enough to walk into town. Loved it and will return.
We had a phenomenal time at Peppergrove Cottage. It was the most magical farm stay experience we have had. Ken was a fantastic host and had the fire going and house warm when we arrived. My daughter loved feeding the horses and cows. Ken took us on a horse and carriage ride into town which was a special experience. The cottage is gorgeous and so cosy. We will definitely be back there soon. 11/10!!
Ken has been a dairy and beef farmer for over 35 years and has 2 farms in the Berry district. He loves to show children (and adults) the workings of his farm and getting others involved.
Peppergrove farm is a walk from the main centre of Berry and only 400metres from Berry Showground. It is very quiet, very rural and definitely as relaxing as you will find.
