Bonjour chers invités! Nous serons heureux de vous accueillir dans notre nouvelle maison. Appartement chic, élégant et confortable au coeur de la ville historique de Jersey. Reflète l'atmosphère de la zone. Style bohème du centre-ville avec un accès facile à Manhattan. Près du magnifique front de mer avec une vue incroyable! Nous l'avons installé pour que vous vous sentiez accueillant et confortable. Après une journée complète de visites ou de travail, il est toujours bon de rentrer à la maison. Nous voyageons beaucoup nous-mêmes et pouvons vraiment comprendre vos besoins!
La chambre principale a un lit Queen Size. Le salon a un canapé-lit confortable et un canapé ordinaire pour le plaisir.
Table à manger. Cuisine entièrement équipée.

Wonderful Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and the neighborhood and location were excellent. Lots of great food nearby and access to a subway station a few blocks away for quick trips into NYC.

Very cozy apartment in great neighborhood

The location of the apartment was awesome. Not far at all from time square, there are MANY good options around the corner and the subway is right down the street. Would definitely return to this apartment!

Cute apartment! Clean and homey. Perfect size for small group. Location was close to food, PATH subway and coffee. Neighborhood was nice too. Starbucks is within walking distance (7 minute walk)

Shame about the bedroom

Location was perfect for our needs. There were three of us so the bedroom plus sofa bed were great in theory but the bedroom is against the wall one side and only a tiny amount of room the other. This wasn’t clear from the description or photo. If our daughter wasn’t with us we would have slept on the sofa bed in the living room. Otherwise the place was clean and comfortable.

Good apartment, poor communication

The apartment is really nice with good lighting. Self checkin was fine, we entered the apartment in the afternoon, and went out for the rest of the day. When we got back at night the locks wouldn’t work and we weren’t able to get in. When we told the owner they disregarded it saying the locks work 100%, which shows a lack of empathy and solving attitude a host should have. We had to go back and film a video showing how we weren’t able to open the door. After this they did not reply for an hour (we still couldn’t access our things and daily medication). Then they sent a locksmith who was able to fix the locks. - I understand if you’re not able to solve instantly but it’s important to say you’re looking for a solution. Otherwise it will look like you don’t care and managing rentals you need to be more communicative. They never said the very minimum “sorry for your inconvenience” or asked how we managed that night we were locked out. - After our stay ended we asked to solve the issue about that first night. They offered to refund $200 (and had charged $235) and refused to pay taxes and service fees that we did pay for that night. We paid $308 in total for the night. We were lucky enough to have family staying close so we slept on their couches that night. Otherwise we would have had to pay for a very pricey hotel night (which I don’t think this owner would have refunded). If you’d like to stay here ask if they changed the locks., wouldn’t be surprised if this happened again.

Ana, yes it was an unfortunate event. Naturally , no one can predict lock malfunction. And you did receive a refund , money back for this night , agreeing it will satisfy your complaint. However I see you are still not happy. :-). All the best.

Nice place in a great location

The location of this property is great: very walkable to eateries and public transportation. The property was very clean. There are a lot of windows so it was very bright. The property has a good amount of outlets. The bedroom is small and the bed was somewhat hard but the living area is large and comfortable. This is a great location if you want to visit NYC!

appartamento molto più piccolo di come appare nelle foto, pulito molto sommariamente, divano letto scomodo e con impresentabile strato di gommapiuma sotto le lenzuola. l'appartamento era caldo in modo soffocante al nostro arrivo, il condizionatore molto rumoroso, nessun contatto con la proprietaria se non un messaggio preimpostato che ci è stato mandato solo il giorno dell'arrivo e solo dopo nostra richiesta in merito alle modalità di check in. arredamento vecchio, doccia malfunzionante, finestre molto sporche. rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo.

Schöne Wohnung in Jersey City mit guter Anbindung nach Manhattan

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Olyas Wohnung. Die Fotos von Fe-Wo Direkt entsprechen dem tatsächlichen Zustand der Wohnung. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt um sich größtenteils selbst zu versorgen. Eine gewisse Grundausstattung an Gewürzen, Toilettenartikel, Spülbedarf und Unterhaltung (Reiseführer, Spiele, amerikanisch Literatur,...) ist vorhanden. Wir haben in der Wohnung immer gefrühstückt und teilweise Abendbrot gegessen, gekocht haben wir nicht. Kleine Minimärkte hat es fußläufig in der näheren Umgebung. Für den Großeinkauf im Supermarkt läuft man etwa 20 min zum ShopRite. Die Haltestelle vom PATH train (Grove Street) erreicht man in gut fünf Minuten, mit Gepäck dauert es etwas länger... :-) Von dort aus kann man entweder zwei Stationen bis zum World Trade Center (Lower Manhattan) fahren oder in die andere Richtung (33rd Street Midtown). Mit Klimaanlage lässt es sich auch in den wärmeren Monaten aushalten, aber es wird schon gut warm im zweiten Stock direkt unter dem Dach. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt in Olyas Wohnung sehr genossen. Olya war sehr nett und gut erreichbar. Wir durften sogar unser Gepäck bis zum Nachmittag im Flur des Treppenhauses lassen, da unser Rückflug erst am Abend ging und wir erst gg 14.30 Uhr Jersey City verließen.

Cute apartment with a few issues

The design of the apartment is great, the location is very convenient for getting to NYC. Very clean, comfortable sleeping arrangements, kitchen, appliances, toiletries - all great. Some of the things to keep in mind: the floor is uneven, part of being in an old building, I guess; the shower is small, the shower head can’t change positions and is very high, the shower water never got hot, just lukewarm. If you are driving and would like to park the car on the street next to the apartment, it is unlimited parking from Friday 9 pm to Monday 7 am but our car got towed on a Saturday. We were gone from 9 am to 9 pm that day and came back to no car. The police told us emergency “no parking “ signs were put out that day and our car got towed at 11:30am. We could only get our vehicle on Monday morning, and it cost us $300, plus the inconvenience of taking a taxi with all our luggage. So, beware about parking. If we ever come back, we will opt for a paid parking lot. But overall, it’s a nice place.

This apartment is absolutely perfect!! It’s located in a n awesome and safe area!! Everything you need is available within walking distance….Bars, restaurants, bodega, subway, ferry to NYC, you name it! Upon arrival, we noticed that the apartment was well taken care of and clean, we’ll for sure be staying here again!

Macy's Parade Trip

So happy we stayed here instead of a hotel. There was room for us to relax and not feel on top of each other. The PATH train was right around the corner. The host was very responsive. We were able to have breakfast every morning in the unit and we had dinner one night there too. Wish we stayed longer to explore this adorable neighborhood in Jersey City. Highly recommend and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It is a 3rd floor unit which wasn't a problem for me and my family but might be for some. We were able to see our daughter in the Macy's Parade with time to spare. Great trip!

Perfect location

Property was perfect. Location could not have been better. Lots of food and shops nearby. We walked to Liberty Park for Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island trip. You’re Only a few blocks from Grove Street Path station which connected us to World Trade Center Memorial, Time Square and got us to the Raiders, Giants game via Hoboken. The condo is simple, cute and beds are comfy. Very satisfied customer from Idaho.

Great Find!

Exactly as described and pictured online. We were visiting our daughter who works in New Jersey and shares a small apartment. This VRBO allowed us to stay together and do all the things she wanted to show us about her town. We had everything we needed. Loved the brick walls and casual bright decor. Sofa bed was made up on arrival and we still had the second sofa to sit on . Nice touches throughout including plants, fun scented candles, soaps and great Italian coffee for us to make. (That was about the only cooking we did in our 4 night stay but did see essential dishes, pans, etc. ) Private bedroom for us. Small but it's Jersey. Comfy beds. Two window AC units kept us cool in extreme heat period. Great water pressure in shower. So many fun things to do just in walking distance. .. Liberty Park (we used Citibike for a great ride along waterfront.) Ice Cream Parlor, Restaurants, Bars, Barcade (arcade) Bagels, Grocery, CitiBike and Subway. Far enough away not to have noise. Plus- Easy short Subway trip to New York City where activities are endless. The steep steps to front door and small winding staircase up is the tough part, and tough for this lady with bad knees but worth it for the location and nice accommodations waiting inside.
